I could spend a few days around here. We meander around outside only. The area feels fabulous and richly steeped in history. Plan to return to shop, explore and experience more of this area. Love the 11:30 and 4pm Longhorn herd / trail ride. Continued facelift in parts of the area. Many areas to park. The whole area is very interesting. Recommending this area for explorers and beyond. Of course you will see real cowboys and cowgirls.(loved her!) Everyone was especially friendly and hospitable!

Outstanding services, specially dealing with a 2 year old for a photo. My wife and I with my grandbaby, stopped by to have our picture taken, and he was not cooperating. She took several photo shots and didnt turn out, by no fault of hers. She changed the scenery to accommodate and it worked. Thanks for taking a photo of a lifetime.

These old time photos are perfect for the stockyards. The lady who took our family photos was patient and wonderful with my small children.

I thought it was pretty interesting. I wish there had been more hands on type of stuff, but overall it is a museum, you go, you look, you learn, you leave. For the price it wasnt too bad.

Very generic and rude staffing. I understand the concepts around reservations, but even locals want to experience a little spontaneity. Why not be a little nicer in suggesting alternate times when my wife and I randomly decide to take old time photos, yet are on a time crunch picking their kids up from school.

Im glad we decided to have a quick visit to this place during our day trip in Fort Worth. This small museum is showcasing the history of cowboys and cowgirls in America. Many traditional horse and cow transportation is on display. Theres a section dedicated to famous cowboy and cowgirl as well.

Total rip off! They charge $6 to look at twenty glass cases of random stuff. Half of the exhibits dont explain who the person is! Plus, the glass cases are arranged bunk-bed style, so you have to squat to see the bottom row and short people are out of luck. Not interesting at all. The museum is in the process of moving so none of their real stuff is open. Do not go here!!!

Wow. Went here for Anniversary photos as we do every year. We were told after finding most of the clothes didnt fit my husband that most of them were off to the cleaners. After piecing something together we took photos. Wasnt pleased with any 6 shots. Not that we were being picky but our loses were off and we were even close together. Sad. We will have to find a new tradition.

The old time photo came out nicely, but my experience wasnt everything that I thought it could be. The worker didnt allow us to have fun or creativity with our photo. Im sure if you want something 100% authentic then you would love this service, but I was very disappointed. Thay have a larger variety of props and clothing, however they were reluctant to let us use what we wanted. Also, we took exactly 6 photos, with no redoes and were not able to see the photos as we took them. And I was yelled at when I took out my phone to take a selfie... Join the century please and change your business style. This could be an amazing spot, but the rules killed it. I wouldnt go back.

It has some great things in it, dont get me wrong, but once you have been to the National Cowboy Hall of Fame/Western Heritige Museum others are just found lacking. The Trigger and Bullet exhibit is what actually drew me in.
