$9 admission. Plan on 30 minutes, 45 if you watch the 12 minute video of employees talking about why they work for American. Theres also American Airlines uniforms, pins, place settings, and videos of employees talking about why they like the company. A display case for awards given to American Airlines founder, and scale model (5 foot+-) planes hanging from the ceiling. The only... ONLY neat thing is the 1940 Douglas DC-3. If you read every word on every sign (how they donate to the needy, provide scholarships to women & minorities, etc.), you MAY be able to spend 2 hours. Save your money. Its basically what you would see at the headquarters of any large company, but here you have to pay $9 to see it.

Truly a fantastic museum, great, well kept up collection which details the history of both American Airlines and aviation as a whole. Lots to see and very friendly and passionate staff to answer any questions. Particularly enjoyed the full sized theater fit with plane seats. Also has a very well stocked gift shop with tons of American Airlines / Aviation memorabilia.Very much looking forward to visiting the museum again once it reopens following COVID-19!

Getting to board the DC-3 aircraft was one of the best parts of this museum! Additionally, some of the written copy and photos on the walls were cool, including the Miracle on the Hudson wall.Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the video that plays every 30 minutes. I was hoping for some AA history, but instead it was just stories from their employees. I think that should be updated.Lastly, they had a great gift shop with all the AA swag and apparel you could wish for.

Very impressive museum for American Airlines fans! You can see many memorabilia of American Airlines and you can learn the history of AA. Seats of movie theater are used domestic first class seat! One of this museums highlights is Flagship Knoxville Douglas DC-3. You can enter the plane and can sit down the seat.Museum gift shop is also interesting. You will get many kinds of goods of American Airlines! It is difficult to get there for traveler. If you dont use rent-a-car, you need to use taxi, Uber and cost $15 from terminal.

This place is worth the $9 admission to learn about the American Airlines’ history and if you are an aviation enthusiast. They have a fully restored 1940 DC-3 that you can actually walk in, sit and touch! There are a few interactive things to participate in such as the IOC, baggage handling, and a cockpit that you can sit in. When you are ready for a rest, catch a short movie in first class seating in the theater. You won’t be disappointed in this place. Also, check out the gift shop!

What a great museum! My daughter loved it! There are really cool interactive exhibits here. We loved being able to go into the plane, sit in the cockpit, make decisions in the command center, learn to load luggage with the correct balance, and design our own plane among other fun activities. My only complaint and the only reason I knocked off a star is the staff there the day I went. They weren’t particularly friendly, helpful or enthusiastic. You definitely need more personable personnel.

I have been here ever since I was 5, and only recently they renovated it. This museum is paradise for aircraft lovers. Some things in this museum are: a DC-3 aircraft that you can go inside of, an interactive weather game, an interactive cockpit and so much more. I LOVE this place!!!

I was up here for new hire ramp training. It was my last day in town so I couldnt come in during regular hours. My father has been working for American for many years. The desk clerk (Minnie) heard my story and she was so nice; she even let me stay a little longer to experience a few things the Museum has to offer despite shutting down for the day. I am so proud that I get to work for an airline like this that offers wonderful customer service to not just their customers but also their employees. My experiences this week have made a lasting impression on me. :D (Disclaimer: the opinions made in this post do not represent American Airlines and/or any of its subsidiaries. I went here when I was 12 with my dad and there is a whole lot of entertaining stuff to such as going inside of a commercial dc-10 and a flight simulator as well as lots of exhibits. And a lot of stuff to read about history which now I appreciate. But when I was 12 I read nothing, but what 12 year old would. But now when I go back I enjoy it more because I read and see everything. Great place and any cool souvenir for anyone who likes aviation such as myself

I went there and this place was huge there was a lot of walking to do inside the museum but it felt good to be inside with the air conditioning on because it was hot outside. love the museum store. but if you want to get in to the museum it will cost you $9 bucks unless if you are a senior citizen or museum member or active Military

Ive been here a few times. It used to be a free museum, but have been charging for admission for over 10 years now. Overall, theres quite a bit to see. They have a mini movie theater and some interactive things for kids. They have a full size older passenger plane, but it has a heavy stench inside. So glad that they built a structure to house the plane as it used to be outdoors. I wish there were more planes to enter. Kids will mostly enjoy this museum. Its well designed and clean.
