Now this organization is just great! We have gone here twice to get horses registered in our name and to find answers about some registration issues we ad with other horses. The people who helped us were fast and explained everything clearly and they were very patient with us. We also love the bronze statues of the horses outside. We cant wait till they move into the Stock Yards in Fort Worth. We will definitely visit their museum and store then! We recommend this organization to any paint horse owner/lover and to future paint horse owners!!!

Interesting, first of all, that there are never Zero stars on these rating scales. I am terribly disappointed in how you refuse to make changes in policy in order to protect the good guys. Your policy gives power & protects bad business & bad people. I purchased my first Paint 4 yrs ago. A beautiful overo frame mare. It irritates me that You consider her grade because she is probably in the top 5% in conformation. She is 15.3, 1310 lbs, one blue eye beauty! I paid cash for her, the price asked and without any obvious issues. The woman stated she would have to get her papers for me, she was selling for a friend. To this day I do not have My Horses papers. I just got off the phone with my attorney. I guess I am giving up on ever receiving them. That woman I purchased from is just evil. We never have had cross words between us. After my purchase local horse people would ask, where did you find this beautiful horse. When I told them they would get this look on their face and say, Oh No! She has a reputation in the horse community and 4 different local vets told me stories about her but said, dont mention my name, because she sues everyone. Apparently she loves to go to court. She sues people for slander, she has sued neighbors, she even sued a crop duster. She always wins! She has gotten away with stealing a local ladys colt bc she bred the dam before selling her and then when it was born she told the new horse owner that the baby was hers because it was bred by her stallion. The new-be didnt know any better. The evil woman likes to sell horses under a payment plan so that when they are a day late she goes & picks up the horse while the people are at work and brings them to her house so she can charge them a late fee and delivery fee. Come to find out on my horse, the evil woman, who had given me a false name for & took me almost 3 months to find out her real name, had her papers all along, in her husbands name. Once they found out that I learned the truth, they surrendered the papers back to APHA.Thats where you come in. You dont get involved in civil matters. Fine. You created this monster of a problem by not giving people like me an out. Those bad people have no interest in my horse. They only had her a week or two, when she sold the horse to me. Therefore, no emotional ties. Simply a way to make a quick buck. Why are you so stubborn or stuck in your ways. You obviously need some new blood on your board if you do not have any compassion for good horse owners. A person should not be allowed to keep papers on a horse they no longer own. Thats just stupid!!! If you dont trust or feel good about a person, you shouldnt sell a horse to that person. If a person really cares about the welfare of a horse and does not trust the person who is interested in buying they should not sell. In this case, its obvious it was not about the horse, it was about the almighty dollar. Ive had 2 expensive surgeries on my mare because I love her and take great care of her. She had a torn rectum when I purchased her from having her first foal. I had her rectum rebuilt and received a clean bill of health on her from Texas A&M Univ. Hospital in College Station. Then in June of this year I had a section of nerve removed in her lower leg for Navicular Disease to make her more comfortable. I didnt have to do either of those but of course I did because I love her. I cannot get her papers on my horse because of your bad and old policy. Why cant you allow a people to have their horse DNA tested in order to prove they are worthy of your piece of approval? Why are you blocking a good thing? Im willing to pay. All you have to do is make a policy change for the good of your customers. I was told after much grief and phone calls to ya that your association is the most difficult to work with if there are any issues. After 4 yrs of getting no where I believe it. Thanks to your policies that make it impossible for me to receive my horses registration papers I will never purchase another Paint. Ill go with AQHA. Robyn L Detert, TX
