We went right before they closed but they let us walk through. I am so happy to find this little gem!! I have been to many many military museums but this one will give them all a run for their money. Very much enjoyed it.

Called them a couple of weeks ago about Saturday hours. Was assured it was normal hours. Drove from Dallas to FW today to visit it with family and no one ever showed up after an hour wait. We called again and again, checked their website site, etc. and could find no notice of closure. So sad. Two other families were waiting also. Maybe Ill change my rating if I ever get a chance to go again.

Justin and Ty were very well educated and super friendly. As a vet myself I am fascinated with history. Awesome experience with some truly phenomonal exhibits. The hands-on area was fun too being able to hold and feel the weapons and gear. Definitely recommended!

This is the best museum of its kind d weve ever been to! The volunteers that run the place are incredible - friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging. This museum is quite Hands-On and allows children and adults to touch the items they have there. They have a large library of books and resources. The displays are absolutely beautiful and very well done. While I am a liberal Snowflake and not a fan of guns and ammo, I found this to be one of the best museums I have ever been to!

What an amazing experience! I was genuinely impressed and moved by the wide display of memorabilia and artifacts. What moved me most had to be one of the letters written by a soldier... wow. God bless America, and have mercy on the poor souls of every one who fought and died on any battlefield. What a horrible way to live and die, but what an honorable sacrifice to make.

Their new location at the Fort Worth Stockyards is way better than the old one. The staff is very nice and some of the artifacts are really cool! I love the machine guns they have on display. The WW1 uniforms are in mint condition, so their collection is pretty impressive. Love the fact that all the FW stockyards restaurants are within walking distance.

So glad we visited this museum. Cowboys often get all the attention so it was fun to see cowgirls being highlighted and their accomplishments and contributions recognized. As a child I had a Annie Oakley costume (saw one in the exhibit almost exactly like what I had), and I was so impressed by her.

This is a great museum to go to. Its a little small, but they have a bunch of history items to look at. They dont have anything from OEF (Afghanistan), but they have stuff from WWI until OIF. The staff are really friendly and my daughter enjoyed talking to them. If your in the Ft. Worth area I highly reccomend you come here.

Be sure to call before you take the time to go there. We went up on 10/09/15 and it was closed on a day it was advertised to be open. Peering through the windows led us to believe that it hadnt been open for a long time. Went out to the Texas Civil War museum on 820 and it was great.
