Love love love everything about this park. Its got everything.. warning though... Bathrooms are closed during winter months so prepare for that. There are covered picnic tables and uncovered... A bathroom in summer.months a tall okay structure and short play structure, specialized swings, and cute mushroom clusters to balance on and much more.. also has a sand pit with built in features that are pretty fun.

Small nice park with playground equipment for kids to play on, which is on top of sand for safety. Benches for parents/caregivers to watch kids. Lovely to take a walk in. There are a couple of tables under cover at the back of the park for picnics and I believe they can be reserved. There is plenty of open space to play Frisbee or to throw a ball.

Love this park. Theres something for every age of children. Parents here seem attentive and friendly. I only wish it were bigger because it can get popular at times. I especially love the swing for babies and parents together. In addition they have swings for disabled children. My child loves it here.

Before the renovations this park had a severely outdated playground but it was close to home and the kids loved it there and it had a nice open grassy field, so Ive always had a soft spot for this place. It is nice to see the face lift they gave it this summer. It is a wonderful Park. The new infants and parents swings they put in are super amazing and I love that they have a little toddler area. My other two kids are grown but I have recently last year had my third child. During these renovations I would take him to the Amazon Park. We had a lovely time at Amazon but it was really hard to do anything with him because they dont have play areas suitable for a 1 year old. I was very happy when they finished the renovations on Tugman Park and found that they had put in a toddler play area. My son just loves it and so do I. It is really nice to be able to play with him on equipment suitable for his age.

City of Eugene Tugman Park just reopened the playground. New equipment includes a slide, climbing “rock”, a few swings, a sand area and a separate play area for the littlest guys. Photos on Google Earth are old. A few final touches are missing, including some steps to one feature and a few more swings. Big grassy area is great for running. Parking is only on the street. Be careful crossing and opening car door if you park in opposite side of the street. Our visit included a 5- and 8-year-old and they enjoyed exploring. Read park history on the cit’s website.

Amazing place for walking your dog, playing with your kid, shoot some hoops, running some hills, or just having a picnic. Live music, vendors and community togetherness is felt here. Homeless people welcomed as members of the neighborhood. Every park should be like this one. Kudos to Eugene!

When the city reworked this play area they didnt put the little bear slide back. Very sad. And while the area with sand is entirely welcome, the substrate of woodchips (basically piles of slivers and splinters just waiting to cause pain) is miserable and NEVER a good idea.

Clean, family and kid friendly. Animal friendly. Tables for events. Restrooms-male and female separate. Garbage cans accessible for easy clean up. Sidewalks all around and lots of grass and room for soccer games etc. Traffic on one side but the slids and swings, all of the fun is a decent length away from traffic. Kept clean. Kids can play in sand or on the toys. Toys for younger kids and older. Took all my grandkids there by and enjoyable walk. Great for walking younger or older kids and ride their bikes or skate boards. Carefully ! Basketball hoops to play a game or two. Hiking, this area gives a feel of a country walk or run. Stores. Coffee. Food in area. Across the street. Dog grooming and laundry Matt. Lots of stuffat and around Tugman to do,have fun. With a group or some alone quiet time...read a book have a picnic just play with kids and family

Not bad for a small City Park. There are restrooms, 2 gazebos, and playground equipment for the kids, as well as a large open field. From the pictures I expected a larger place with more trees. Parking is on the street and the amenities are hard to see from there but head toward the playground to find them.

The play area is in full sun, so it was burning hot and none of the kids wanted to play on any of the structures. There are picnic tables in covered areas you can reserve.
