I find it wonderful that this land is being preserved. Its a marsh, a swamp land and that makes it different in its own way. There are 4 boardwalk stations (viewing platforms) through out the trail with signs describing the land and the animals depending on it. I hear this is a great place to watch/photograph many different species of birds. The trail is paved and thus ADA compliant. Its about a quarter mile round trip. Definitely recommended to check out at least once.

The boardwalk is short and it backs to a bunch of buildings and fences. But the view of the marsh is delightful. Bring binoculars.

This is a nice area to walk around with a water front park, walkway, shops and restaurants. Access into and from this area can be challenging with ferry traffic so i recommend giving yourself extra time to navigate and park if you have plans.

Theres a trail that walks along the boarder of the Marsh. There is a boardwalk that allows you to see into the Marsh. I saw 8 Blue Herons. The scenery is rustic, cattails, waterways and condos in the distance.

Nice place, but relatively short trail around the perimeter. We saw herons crouching in the reeds on a cold and windy February afternoon.

While waiting for the ferry, it is a nice peaceful place to contemplate you life in the universe. Perhaps you will see a beautiful bird, but more likely to see people running for a restroom.

We were forced to spend time here while waiting our car for the ferry, like 99.9% of the people who pass through this marsh. Nice views, lots of grass and a few birds. Large amounts of traffic headed the other direction every 1/2 hour or so.

Love this Puget Sound waterfront park. Not much for close front parking considering this place is very busy any given nice weathered day of the week. Many other sections down the street available for parking. Has dog park area, kids play toy area, picnic/bbq area, wash-off location to clean self or anything else of sand or dirt. GREAT BEACH GLASS can be scouted out and found when tide is out a little ways (walk entire length of beach near about where the water level is!) No shade spots though, bring your own protection! And can be so busy, too many people crowding, that if youre looking for somewhere relaxing, this may not accommodate. (Depends on time of year visiting!!)

Vehicles waiting for the Edmonds-Kinston ferry pass through the Edmonds Marsh. There is usually no reason to stop, unless there is a traffic backup. Such vehicles dont get much time to experience the Marsh. This was my experience.
