This is a beautiful stretch of beach that is big enough to accommodate a lot of people with room for everyone to spread out. The water is shallow at the shoreline (depending on the tide) and kids can wade and play with an adult close by.Its great fun to watch the ferries come and go every half hour. This beach is way worth the visit!

Beautiful sandy beach! There is close parking just north of the ferry, walk south to the beach and drop your kayak in. There are plenty of restaurants near and even a outdoor beach cafe with a sand box for your little ones to play in while you enjoy the sun. Fun place to walk the pier and talk to crabbers about their daily catch.

Best part of the beach, by far. Bigger than the North end, more tranquil than the furthest south end beach, its the part i always gravitated to the most whenever i made trips downtown. Not that far from the pier either. Only complaint is the privately owned land that cuts off the walkway midway to the pier. Sure, you can walk through the sand around it, but it can be a real pain in the foot. Still, best part of the Edmonds beach area.

Beautiful sunsets, trains, boardwalks, the ferry, short walk to main street, restaurants, cafes - these are some of what I love about coming here.With the warm weather itll surely be a lot more crowded but the attraction is still the same.

It is calm and peaceful. The people who walk this area are friendly. They smile at you as you walk by. Even teenagers dont dress sloppily!!

Good time to take a Ferry ride.

I mean its just a beach. It is a nice sand beach and there is a nice lawn behind the beach. Its clean and the kids like watching the ferries.

Very popular place to scuba dive. The ferry and train come through here. So it can be a loy of noise some time Not a lot of eateries bring your lunch.

This is a great place to view the ferries cross the Puget Sound with the beautiful mountains in the background. There is a lovely walking path along the waterfront with several shops, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. If your timing is right, you can watch a freight train go whizzing by as well! This is a great place to visit if you only have a short time to explore.

The heating units are rated at 3200 watts making hearing your home almost $2 an hour.The walls aren’t insulated properly and heat escapes somehow.Only the top floors have a fireplace which has a vent that air can escape from.The property charges $130 for private parking. That’s almost the price of insurance.There are not enough public parking spots because of guest leaving their cars in the parking lot.The neighboring doors are facing each other. This makes for awkward in counters with residents that you may not want to have to interact with.No smoking policy on the premises I personally don’t like being controlled. Especially with any and all of my recreational activity’s. I work to hard to live freely to be giving parental guidance rules. Makes me feel like a teenager. Last time I checked I pay rent to get away from basic house hold rules. The federation does not care.With all of these strikes. This is still a lovely 5 star location that’s in dire need of hardwood floors.

A beautiful park by the sea. It is located next to the ferry dock. If you are stuck in ferry traffic, you may find a small slice of time to walk the beach. The only bathroom nearby is at the ferry terminal.Perfect spot to watch beautiful sunsets. Walk on the ferry to visit Kingston where you can find Crepes, ice cream, coffee and Knick knack shops to visit. Perfect for a date!!

Great lil spot to sit and take in the edmonds ambiance . You watch the ferries come in and out and the seabirds around the park . Ir just sit and watch the edmonds locals . Most of which seem to be friendly, older and all wearing their north face coats. Lol . Super cool park and town

One of my favorite places Gorgeous views of whidbey, Kingston, and the Olympics. This beach is also sandy which makes it significantly better than Mukilteo in my opinion. Its clean, and parking is fairly easy, with exception of the Summer but thats true of any beach. They also have the underwater park foe scuba divers and an oitside shower which is great to wash off sandy feet.

I love being near the Sound, especially on a nice day, but I also just love the feeling of downtown Edmonds.

The park was very pretty and a nice place to wait for the ferry to arrive.

What a lovely beach! It seems that the city has made effort to incorporate the ferry dock and surrounding urban landscape with what nature was already there. The outcome is a mix of human and natural worlds, nice! Go on a sunny afternoon for the best sights and maybe catch sight of a seal or bunny!

Love this beach but the ridiculous rule about not taking rocks from the beach (I was approached by a park ranger) is laughable. Divers take bags full of things....kids love to take a few rocks home. Its not hurting any environment....there is NOT A rock shortage. Other than that, this is a nice beach to take little ones. Just be sure to be discreet about taking a few illegal rocks!

During warm days this is a popular area to hang out for locals. It wont take long to explore the entire landing so have more plans in mind.

This is one of those perennial Pacific Northwest view spots. The ferry and harbor in the background and small town Edmonds behind you - its really cool. Parking can be a pain.
