The energy of wind and water braces your soul for the day. Claim a sitting log on the tiny swath of beach or perch happily on a bench or at a picnic table. Sip coffee youve brought from a local cafe or from home. Watch the gulls swoop, gaze out toward the ferry, count the cars as they march aboard. Listen behind you to the railway cars that clatter movement across their beachfront miles. Look above to the powerful sky father, stand strong on comforting sands of earth mother. You are welcomed by brother and sister waves. History and life and the breath of the natural world sustains you here. Come often. Be refreshed.Parking is available in a lot next to the shore, or you can walk from nearby on street parking a little up the way. This is a good beach for picnics or quick stops. Restrooms are open during park hours.

My favorite pastime is catching sunrises and sunsets. I remember as a little girl sitting on the rooftops looking at the Sun rise and looking at the sunsets, and I thought how beautiful the skies look when it turns into those multi-colored hues of orange, blue, and yellow. I thought how fascinating it is and how glorious it is. The Earth declares Gods glory and sunrises and sunsets are definitely a part of that.Bracketts Landing has beautiful sunsets and I finally was able to catch one, and it was nice There were so many people out social distancing of course, but a lot of us were catching that sunset. I went back a few hours later and I found children playing in the water, hearing their laughter makes life normal. I saw a train going by and a ferry coming in, one coming and one going and It was beautiful. If you have a moment perhaps Ill see you standing on the dock or on the shore during a sunset, at Bracketts Landing. :) Be safe and practice Love

Watching the waves crash on the rocks has been one of my favorite sights since I was a child. Walking along the beach, hopping from log to log reminds me of how much fun I used ti have going to the beach with my family growing up. A beautiful view of the mountains, Kingston, and a sunset if youre lucky really feels like Edmonds. The subtle smell of seaweed, the gulls calling, and the ferry making its noise fully immerses you in the experience. The cool breeze and the occasional splash of seawater when the waves are beautifully violent on the rocks made me smile with delight.Covid related: Everyone was exceptional with their social distancing and mask wearing. I didnt see anybody that refused to follow the guidelines.Edmonds is a wonderful city and our beaches are no exception :-)

We enjoyed visiting the park at low tide. The blue heron taking off with the ferry in the background was fun. You can walk out to a rocky viewpoint. I photographed the comet from here. This park is the entrance to one of the best underwater scuba diving parks in the country. My son and I used to dive here. Reasonable depth shore diving. With a big tank bottom times over an hour are possible. Night diving too. Lots of big fish and occasionally an octopus. The dive shop is just down the street. Good restrooms with outdoor showers.

This is a busy little park, but lovely to visit. You can watch the ferries come and go with seagulls flying by. Kites were flying today and kids playing in the sand. Had a nice walk out on the jetty and enjoyed the Puget Sound and mountain view across the water. Highly recommend Waterfront Coffee nearby. (Great chocolate banana bread.)

I really enjoy coming here. I find it to be relaxing. To be clear, there isnt much to this area. But the views of the Puget Sound are amazing and I like the areas to walk with your spouse, friend, dog or even alone, if you would rather. The neighborhood directly above the Landing area is terrific too. The views of the sound one side and the beautiful homes on the other make for something to look for no matter where you look. Go and enjoy the views!

A great place to watch the ferries, the divers and appreciate nature. My daughter enjoyed picking up shells from the water bank. It’s also a beautiful scenery for photoshoot. The restroom is so old and needs revamping but there are lots of benches to sit and I saw that there are more to come. I also took time to go on the ferry ride & it was fun

The beach can never be a bad idea . . .Bracketts Landing is inviting, open and friendly and picturesque. One of the few places people look you in the eye, smile and greet you. A very good stroll for those of alone and lonely where you can converse and ease the hurt of the days. The smell on the far North end is very much less than pleasant but focus on the riches around you, thank God for your blessings. I promise the sun will set and a new day will begin anew, with promise!

Relaxing park along the water. Nice place to stroll or sit and enjoy the view. Watch the ferry system at work or the divers practicing their crafts. Or just take in the vast few of the sound and the mountains in the distance. There is a little bit of bike lane, but not for any real speed; its a park, go slow. Footpath and sidewalk are good for walking. Parking is available along the road, but be aware exactly where parking is allowed and where its not. Put your cars inside the marked parking areas. Parking is enforced.

It is a very small but fun place to be. Unfortunately it gets very congested on weekends and evenings which makes it less fun for those who dont like to compete for space. You can play in the sand or sit on a bench and watch the ferries and tide. Scuba diving is popular here and the restroom area is designed to suit their needs on a basic level. Use caution if you are not planning on being wet, the restrooms are typically covered in water. Limited parking.

Been coming here since my youth. Love it! Peaceful, beautiful - great representation of the Puget Sound/Pacific NW and the beauty here. Parking can be a bit challenging depending upon the weather and/or what time of day you choose to visit - worth it. You can watch the ferry as it loads/unloads and catch the train which is always fun. Also, there is an underwater diving park which gets lots of use. Check this place out. Note: There is a playground area and dog park about 3/4 mile south of this area.EDIT: Although there are signs everywhere that state NO DOGS ALLOWED here at Bracketts Landing, nobody seems to respect this. Please do your job parks department. Thanks.

I love this park. Between the sandy beaches that are a blast to enjoy on warm summer days, the art that is beautiful and builds a sense of connection with the community, and the constant stream of scuba divers that are here to experience the underwater portion of the park there is always something to see or experience. With plenty of benches and tables, decent restroom facilities, a couple showers to help clean off the fun day on the beach, this park has just about everything. You get all that along with easy access to local restaurants and cafes as well as the Edmonds-Kingston ferry.
