Lovely beach, chance to see whales, sea lions and lots of birds. Nice place to sit and eat dinner and watch the sun set. One of my favourite places in the whole world :)

I visited while the west coast was on fire, so the whole beach was this sepia shade without the filter. It was quiet and clean. The few people that were there were very kind, which is uncharacteristic of Washington! I loved it! The sandy part that is the actual beach was about a yard or two and the water was murky and freezing, but it makes for some peaceful alone time! Definitely check it out!

Olympic Beach is beautiful location with access to the Ferry and a lengthy fishing pier. Walking paths help guide your way down the sand shore, and youll be greeted with various eye-catching statues along the way. The pier takes you right out on the water and among plenty of fishers and the crisp smell of the scenery. There are a number of eateries that sit either right on the beachside or easily within walking distance and help make your visit one to remember.

Beautiful view of the Olympic Mountains. Long stretch of sandy beach great for walking or hanging out on a beach blanket. Benches and sculptures along walk above the beach area, great photo opportunities. Visitor station with tons of information about the ocean creatures. They even had an open aquarium so you can touch some of the creatures. Long fishing pier with cleaning stations, benches (some covered.) Public restrooms, icecream shop and resteraunts.

Way to many kids and people without wearing masks per Covid rules. Tide came in a knocked over a toddler in water. The Mom grabbed the child but lost her prescription glasses in the water and Dad goes running in fully dressed in jeans to get them and never did.

Nice but pretty small beach park with benches and a few picnic tables. Great view of the sound and ferry activities. Grey sand beach is non swimmable with lots of seaweeds. Fun for kids and dogs maybe. Fun to walk out to the pier and check out the fishermen and their cacht. Theres a take out restaurant serving casual food such as sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and ice cream.

There are a couple great places to eat in (like Anthonys) right on the water. Eat in the evening and try to be done right before sunset. Then walk down to Olympic Beach and sit on the wall or walk on the pier while the sun goes down. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

This is a pretty cool little spot to take in the Edmonds waterfront. We were able to watch some people fish for crabs, which was a really neat experience. The dock and Beach area is very clean. The public restroom needs some work though.

Edmonds has one of the nicest, simple waterfront areas on the Puget Sound yet its packed with so much stuff you have to see it yourself. Small beach areas for the kids to play on the sand. Underwater dive park. Marinas, restaurants, picnic areas and a dog park. Ferry service to and from Kingston does tie up traffic throughout the day at times but the different transit services coordinate departure and arrival times so well its routine. Sounder train service stops in Edmonds each morning and afternoon as well as daily Amtrak service.

If youre ever in the Edmonds area near sunset and have a chance to watch the sunset on the water you will understand why residents stay there through the cloudy days. Absolutely breath taking some days and special many others. Get here if you can.

Small beach next to the ferry landing where you can watch the water and watch the boats go in and out. There are park benches nearby and a pier thats pretty neat to walk out onto. Its paved so its wheelchair accessible. I went on a cloudy and sort of rainy day and it was still great! There are port a potties and a cafe that sells a variety of ice cream, right next to the pier entrance. Highly recommend checking it out.

This is a wonderful park for us walkers, but it is also an underwater park. Its interesting to see divers on their way to the underwater park. I have seen them preparing to go in, have seen them in the water and coming out with all the equipment which children find so fascinating. Yes there are people there but everyone is engrossed in their own thing. Some are minding their children, others enjoy walking on the beach, some read all the plaques, oh and then there are the lovers, and the ferrys, the icecream shops in the summer, and coffee shops near by. There is a board walk by the Marina, and in the summer there is jazz on the waterfront. Public bathrooms, a peer, I mean its a great place, oh yes at the other end there is a dog park, and free parking, what else can anyone ask for!!

Nice big open beach area to play. Not crowded so youre not RIGHT next to complete strangers. The water is very cold but it is Puget Sound. No shell or rock collecting allowed, which is new for me but I understand it. Theres an ice cream place right by the beach so you can smell ice cream cones baking. Faucet available to wash off after playing in the sand and salt water. Elevated area behind the beach has benches to sit and enjoy the view without being in the sand and water. Very nice place to spend a relaxing time at the beach and let the kids play.

Great place to go crabbing / fishing. I enjoyed all the little shops around downtown Edmonds and got to experience some cool sea life with the rangers at their station.Definitely recommend if you have kids who like the ocean or may have never seen the ocean (Took my Cousin there whom is from Texas, a total blast), the rangers also do tidle walks and have a touch tank in their office for visitors to inspect and learn about sea life.Only downside to the beach front are the stores, the ice cream around the station / water front can be expensive ($4 - $7 a cone), but I dont let the detract from the full 5 stars of the beautiful beach!
