This one was a bit lack luster. The main path was flat, but pretty rocky. It would make a pretty bumpy ride for someone in a wheelchair or stroller and wouldn’t be ideal for someone who wasn’t very sure on their feel. The pictures will show you what I mean a little more clearly. There were a lot of side paths that were skinnier and steeper than the main org, but a more authentic “woods” experience. It would be pretty fun for older kids who aren’t old enough to go alone, but want to feel independent. From the parking lot, the easiest way to get to the pond is to take the right hand path. If you follow the left path, it will take you to a road unless you cut across to the other path about half way through. I found that looking at my google map as I was walking was the easiest way to find the place to cross over. Not too muddy, even though it had rained the day before.

Amazing trail in middle of city. This consists of many smaller trails and one of them is quite big. Totally recommend it for weekend fun.

Such a great and easy park to walk. Gravel path with little trails that branch off. Not the greatest park for strollers but you can manage as long as your little one doesnt mind a bumpy ride.

Facts: It is a light hike, maybe a mile, there and back, I dont no where (there) is. The trail isnt paved, no big deal, just dont wear new shoes if its raining. My Experience: I started walking, and after a 1/4 mile I was thinking that this park is awesome. It has a pond and lots of birds, it just a great setting. After a few more minutes everything ended, and I had a choice of walking up to a road or through a dark drain tunnel, so I went with the tunnel. After that the trail was over, so I turned around and went back. I guess my complaint with the trail is that it isnt a loop, and not long enough to be a there and back. 3 stars. Thanks for reading. Shawn Michael.

Well I will tell you what? Ive never seen the water level in the ponds so full and high! The Sunlight came through the trees and kept me warm and invigorated!! Nows the time to go for a stroll through the park!

This park is a nice little tucked away walk in the forest. There were tons of trees down though, like maybe 20% of them it seemed like. We talked to a local there and she mentioned it was mainly due to a storm that had hurt the park. Other than that, it provided lots of quiet, little trails that were easy to navigate and explore.

Looking amazing going in but was over to soon. A side trip on a trail 30 feet past the bench on the right leading to opposing trail with the pond seemed like a nice adventure. Then my girlfriend and i walked through a hornets nest...... she got stung hella, i got stung none. What an adventure!!!

Right in the middle of the city yet it feels like a walk in the mountains. My wife and I love this Park. No playground and the pond is shrinking but it is surprising how much walking is available. Not only the main walk down the middle of the draw, but trails on the side hills as well.I always think it could be used for filming scenes from Robin Hood or some story like that needs forest setting.

Nice little connecting park. I love the way the pine and spruce smell. If you are lucky you will hear the owls... if you are really lucky you might catch sight of one and get a picture!

My sacred Grove is there, near the water. I commune with the Earth mother there. I do occasionally need to cleanse it of the detritus left behind by thoughtless children.

Its like a step into a rain forest . Almost able to drown out the city noises and everyday hassles. Its about 2 shades darker and cooler too. Has ducks and a ton of mosquitoes . . I live close enough I could throw a rock into the park from my house. Ive seen raccoonsPossums. And owls galore even in day time. Also coyotes twice. Definitely a good one to walk slow in and quietly take it all in. Because we almost missed seeing an owl swoop in and feed on a rat or mouse . It was amazing..

This is the perfect park to*Bring your kids and their stick ponies*Set your young kids loose on trails with a compass and a whistle*Walk your dog*See ducks on the pond*Listen to nature/birds*Play an epic game of hide and seek or secret spy with Lazer guns*Ride your mountain bike although trails not long enough to make it popular for thatThis forest has parallel trails running north and south. Side trails galore, but they are on hills so finding your way back is as simple as down-just explain that to kids and the small parking lot is always North. Kids can gain confidence being further away from parents and easy place to learn how to use a compass. Easy to hear exactly where a whistle is blown because of hill acoustics. Neighbor fences block kids and dogs in safely.People are very considerate about dogs- you usually only see one or two other visitors there. I like to let my dog off leash but when I see someone, I put the leash on.No wheelchair access (I cant seem to edit my wrong answer in the question section).

Its a pleasant walk through tall trees in a small neighborhood. The tiny lake in the center has a lot of ducks and sometimes a crane. Its a good way to feel out in the country despite having just gone down the block.

Great park! Been going here for peaceful times with friends for at least ten years. People are very friendly and everyone with pets is extremely respectful and upholds proper etiquette expected from pet owners. Alot of fun trails to explore and it also links directly to Yost Park if you just follow the signs. I used to trail ride BMX bikes here and always had a blast, lots of downhill obstacles to overcome and naturally created jumps to conquer. All in all a peaceful atmosphere where you can go do you and enjoy the outdoors however you see fit without having someone raise an eyebrow or complain. 10/10 would bang

The park centers around an old dirt road through a patch of woods with a few offshoots up the bluffs. The road runs past Goodhope Pond, an active home for many ducks. Leashed dogs allowed.
