This was a very nice and scenic attraction along the north shore. It was actually kind of peaceful during the chaotic labor day weekend. It had very little to offer other than a view of lake superior and Duluth. There were two picnic tables to sit on and one was buried under rock and sand. I enjoyed my short visit.

Beautiful Park! Theres a lot to really explorer here and the views are breath-taking. We found a sheltered spot away from people and the wind and relaxed on the warm, rocky beaches. We found a few agates and a prized Amethyst, what a treat! Include this well known park to your list and find a little piece of shore to relax on and discover in.

Great park with picnic areas on the shore of Lake Superior. Rocky shore with cool waters very refreshing on hot days. Can be busy on weekends but area is quite large/long along shoreline with adequate parking. Dog friendly.

Gem of a beach hidden in plain sight. I stumbled upon this park/beach a couple years ago and love stopping on my way north. Kids really enjoy climbing on the boulders on the beach and tossing rocks from the beach into the lake. Great place to stop for a break to stretch your legs and walk right up to (and into if you dare) the lake.

The grandkids loved this place, will go again next time we are there!

Beautiful place to catch a sunrise! I came across this place by accident heading to Pigeon Falls. I had to stop... the view of the sunrise was amazing! Check out the photos.

This is a wonderful spot to stop on the shoreline and go rock hunting!

Great scenic stop over right before scenic road entry at the tip of Duluth. You can get right to the water. Plenty of open space to walk around and picnic. If you dont like the hustle bustle of canal park and want to enjoy the calmness of the lake near Duluth, this is a really good option!

Had an awesome time on Lake superior this was a great place to stand next to the water and sing songs. Shot a video to her music video.

A unique stone and pebble Beach like nothing Ive ever seen. The water is crystal clear, due to the beach being stone. There are large rocks to sit on and explore. The large rocks make amazing pools, its an amazing time for a family or a nice quiet walk on the beach.

The water was very clear on this side of the lake. This rocky beach was a unique sight and was well worth the 2 hour drive!

Kitchi Gammi Park is fantastic...the road is narrow but wide enough for cross traffic...There are plenty of places to park your vehicle. A public bathroom. Lake Superior explodes onto the shoreline producing outstanding photography. There are even surfers who enjoy the waves. An excellent place to find an elusive agate. One weekend there were few tourists due to an easterly wind and turbulent waves. On most summer weekends the park is filled with picnickers, agate seekers, and those who simply love the lake and the waves. Its an excellent place to watch lakers and salties. If you come the right week you can watch the Tall Ships.

Fun for all, kids, pets, couples, and families. Great for picnics and has a playground.

One of our most favorite places to visit in Duluth and we love Duluth. We can spend hours throwing rocks into the Lake regardless of the season. We visit regardless of the temperature outside, even if its only for a few minutes. This isnt a big park and there isnt a ton to do at it but the Lake views make it amazing. It was recently closed to vehicular traffic as there was some erosion occurring. Im wondering if there is a plan to address some of that or not. We could still walk down to the park.

Visited Kitchi Gammi Park for the first time, finally! Unfortunately, it was a rainy day when I stopped by, but still got out of the car to enjoy a few minutes. Nice view of Lake Superior and looks like a great place for a picnic. Ill be back on my next trip to Duluth!

Beautiful place...visited in March and walked out onto the frozen lake. Fantastic views and lots of fun! I would imagine a fun place to visit when it warms up some too. My son said its kind of like a frozen Hawaiian beach! Its beautiful!

A great spot just north of Duluth to collect rocks and listen to the wave come in. Kids love to swim here as well!

Fishing is great if you have the patience to wait for that monster sized fish youve always been wanting. Beautiful and scenic its a great place.

The water was beautiful and clear.

On our return from north shore we explored this place. You have to take a sudden right turn while reaching Duluth from north shore or either way while coming from Duluth towards nort shore. This park is just side by the lake, there is no fencing so make sure you take care of your kids. It was really amazing and soothing experience sitting in the rocks around the lake, enjoying the beauty of the lake.

Always a popular park, right on the lake with multiple picnic areas.

Is there a better place near Duluth to watch the waves and climb a few rock. There are benches, picnic tables, and a little 3 sided shelter so you can bring some food, and just sit and watch Lake Superior. Relaxing or exciting depending on Superior s mood.

Beautiful far reaching view of Lake Superior with small rock formations lining the beach. There are places to pull over. The weather can vary day to day. Bring a spring jacket along and maybe throw a sweater in the back for windy days. My experience was a warm day with a calm breeze.

What a beautiful view. We enjoyed the view and the kids splashed in the water. We went on Sunday and it was very crowded. Note: the bathrooms are port-a- potties and were quite messy since they were being used by so many people.

Road is all torn up. The same with a bunch of the shoreline. Not enough parking. Big park, a lot of area but poorly maintained and poor facilities.

The kids loved playing rock parkour. Nobody had to get stitches. I call that a great day.

Brighton beach is my wifes happy place. Its a beautiful rocky shoreline and a great place to catch a sunrise. Have to stop by every time we go to (or near) Duluth.
