My husband and I stayed here for two months and enjoyed our stay. Martha was absolutely awesome. That woman works hard and truly cares. She was always available if we needed anything and was very accommodating. This park is lucky to have her. The other residents in the park were great neighbors to have and everyone made us feel at home. I would definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work !Corey and Lori

UP DATE 11/30/2019: Tomorrow I will be leaving this RV Park named Healing Sands prior known as Tamarisk RV Park. My rating remains at 1* only because I cannot give it less. The rent is cheap and if you like to have hot water that takes 10 minutes to warm up or use the showers and toilet facilities that have NO HEAT, are usually out of hand soap and toilet paper on a regular basis or use showers that violate the Americans With Disabilities Act because there are no safety hand rails in the showers or you like homeless people wandering around at night or rummage around your site at night. Then this is place is just for you. I would recommend that you spend a little more money and stay at a different place.UPDATE 7/04/2019: TODAY the Handicap Restroom is out of order and the Manager has no one to fix it. That means if a handicap person is in a wheelchair they could not use the facilities. It needs a snake and the manager wont do it.UPDATE 6/30/2019: I repaired the broken commode with a paper clip. Simple fix, but management company is too slow to take care of problems. Still no maintenance guy here. Poor manager must do it all herself. A great employee.UPDATE 6/29/2019: The pool handicap bathroom is out of Paper towels and low on toilet paper. The flapper is broke so you must put your hand in and pull it up to flush. The repair phone has been discontinued. No maintenance guy on duty. Been this way for 2 days. Upper management apparently does not care that only Martha the manager is trying to do everything by herself with no help. A really pittiful management company. Wish that I could give less than 1 star.6/4/2019: Most of the weeds have been cleared. Looks much better. The rest of my negative complaints are still valid.UPDATE 5/15/2019: Some of the pictures posted from other guests do not show the real living conditions. They show nice clean vacant spaces. THIS NOT THE TOTAL TRUTH. MY space and many others are overgrown with weeds and the owners do nothing about it. Go somewhere else. I have down graded to 1*..8/17/2018: Just arrived here and I am starting with only 3*. Staff of 2 are friendly and helpful. But facility is 50+ years old. Needs a lot of refurbishing particularly in the shower rooms. Cheap thin toilet paper and the trash can is full. Facility is very sparcely occupied on the RV side. After sign-in I was advertised that if I stayed longer than 30 days some fees like trash and sewer will be added. They collected the monthly fee and security deposit then I was informed that the rent starts on the 1st. Of the month and my fee would be prorated. Right now my opinion is that the management company is more interested in money than customer service. My posting is open and honest with no emotions. The staff of 2 are really good, the park not so much. Positive observation:. RENT IS CHEAP, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.UP DATE;11/30/2018. I have been here for 3 months and would like to down grade my original rating of 3*. Now It is Winter and the bathrooms ARE NOT HEATED. THE HOT WATER TAKES OVER 10 MINUTES TO COME ON. ONLY 2-3 CHAIRS AT THE POOL. I am thinking about going to another park.

Best place I’ve ever stayed at in the valley the manager Martha is very very nice and friendly overall great stay and if your someone who like quiet places like me this is a good place to stay

Stayed here for a week in Jan 2020. Lone older female in older RV. The staff was very nice and helpful. Loved the natural hot springs and pools. Was in them very day! Nice clubhouse, showers and laundry. Grounds are well kept and I felt safe. Not a fancy spa yet I felt pampered! Turned out the price was same as staying at a Joshua Tree campground which had nothing and was freeking cold.

Martha is very friendly, accommodating and professional. Anytime you ever have any questions or need help with something, shes always there to help. The park is a great place to stay whether it be short term or long term. Very quite park and all of the people staying here are very friendly and welcoming. Park has two pools (one of them being an indoor pool) with two jacuzzis. Bathrooms with showers. Highly recommend this park. -Jason and Steven

We are staying long term and rent is cheap but serious hazards!!! This place may have a new name and owners but still in shambles! Beware of electrical and plumbing hazards. The owners make the sweet manager Martha who does her best, beg for good online reviews but truth is they take rent and put nothing back into park. No maintainence crew at all?!! No cleaners no repairs. Lori the ofsite manager demeans residents and manager. She is so terrible. Will not get things fixed, ignores requests, terrible attitude when complaints get taken to her. Avoid if you can afford to. Owners should be ashamed.

I vacation here for a few weeks every winter. The pool and hot tubb are heaven. Friendly staff. Great campers. Very quiet at night.

The Manager Martha is exceptional. Weve been to a several RV parks across the Southwest and Martha is one of the best managers weve had. She cares for this park and its residents, and has integrity and pride in her work. This park is lucky to have her. Brian as well works very hard to keep up with the parks needs, and is constantly making improvements in the park. The park has been just what we needed. The spaces are a decent size, and my favorite the hot spring fed pool and tub. They have a common community space for use, and showers and public bathrooms with locking codes, laundry mat on site, has a gated entry, and walking distance to an open space area with trails for hiking and walking your dog. All the things you need, and is affordable. We have noticed our electric bill has been higher than other RV parks and our usage is the same. All in all weve enjoyed our time here for the past 4 months

Great stay pool is amazing

This is the place to go for some peace and quiet. We attend to the needs of our visitors. In doing so we become friends. So dont hesitate to give this park a try. The price cant be beat.

A spectacular place to be at and stay at the manager there is a very polite and kind. I rate this 5/5 star. Really recommend this place if your looking for a place to rent or if you have your own rv you could look here for a space to rent.

Very nice one month stay. Reasonably priced for the area, clean and quiet, nice neighbors, loved the hot tubs and pools. Close to everything we needed during our stay. Martha and Brian are the best thing about the place. They work very hard to make sure everything is right.

Great place to live. Very quite and safe community with great amenities. Indoor swimming and outdoor swimming in the great hot springs.Also, great RV section for those who are passing through town or want to stay for a few nights.Great poolhouse.Management is very nice and upkeep with all residents needs.Come joking us at Tamarisk Mobile Home & RV Park.

I lived in this park for about 6 months in my vintage mobile home and had a wonderful experience. It’s a clean, quiet park and the manager is wonderful. Highly recommended!

UPDATED 10/2019Could be a great park! Great manager BUT POOLs need real help!!!!Never consistent temps, dirty and low on water. Both indoor and out need loads of help.The hot pools here in the desert are what brings people to the parks here, both seasonal and those of us living year around. Even on the sign it says healing mineral water pools. But there’s nothing healing about gross water, cold hot tubs and cracking plaster. PLEASE for the sake of the residents PLEASE fix the pools!!!!!!!We beg you!!!!!!Nice little private park. Friendly staff all the way around. Amazing prices. Beautiful views. Very very clean. Had no problem getting a clean comfortable site. Im not sure about these other reviews but this park is very nice and a great place to be!

Clean, friendly and helpful. I also liked that they have security gates -- its not the best part of the Palm Springs area, and I felt better leaving the RV for the day and evening.

I love this place! I live here! The Manager, Martha, does a great job taking care of all needs. The Maintenance man, Brian, does a spectacular job fixing anything and even goes out of his way to help with any repairs at any time, even when it isnt his normal working hours! The rent on both the mobile home and RV sides is the cheapest in the area, especially wonderful because it is the cleanest (BY FAR) all ages park. Indoor HOT SPRINGS WATER pool/jacuzzi, outdoor pool/jacuzzi, 2 community rooms with full kitchens, multiple bathrooms with showers, coin laundry room, mailboxes, outdoor grills, gated park with seperate codes for both sides, and more! I love this place and the wonderful views of the city lights at nights with beautiful starry nights!

Nice quiet place. Space rents are affordable and its a small mobile home park with an excelent manager onsite.

Quiet and cheap only wish for heat in the bathrooms and encountered large spiders in them to.

Tamarisk Mobile Home and RV Park is affordable. There are clean restrooms, showers and laundry room. There is a pool and hot tub available. The staff is very friendly.

I lived in this park for 7 years and Im happy its a grate community park. The manager is very friendly.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. This place is a DUMP! Would love to meet the photographer who took these pictures because they most definitely have talent to make this place look livable (kudos to them). This place is out in the middle of nowhere and the site looks like a junkyard for RVs.... please dont waste your time!

This is a nice park to visit...older...but well kept. Not all concrete as a lot of the parks are now...many of the people here come back year after year...reasonable rates and they also have gates for security. Nice Mineral Hot Spring tubs and pools. Clean restrooms.

I have never ran into a person who yelled at anyboy for walking through the drive screamed at me telling me i was trespassing. Very un adult like when in reality if she had no trespassing on both sides then anyone wouldve seen it comen sense she doesnt belong running that place dont even deserve one star

We stayed in the park this past winter from Jan to mid March. At that time we had paid until the end of March. We were informed by Martha (manager) that we would be receiving a cheque, returning our damage deposit. After repeated emails and phone calls, we were told that the matter was in the hands of the management company: Cascade Corporate Management. I would assume that after four months, this should have been resolved. While there, we were told that plans were to upgrade the park for future rv business.......this does NOT show that intent. I will wait a short time and if there is still no response, a copy of this rip off will be posted on the 5-6 rv clubs we belong to. September 6/17 update. I received an acknowledgment letter from Jason McDougall, Cascade Corporate Mgmt. manager of Tamarisk rv. He recognized the delay in refund of damage deposit and stated said refund would be done ASAP. That was of July6/17. To this date.....no further response. Because of this disregard for his word and failure to follow through, I now believe that this park, and the management company that run it are very questionable and I would definitely NOT recommend any RVers to stay or support this company. Sorry for the rant but I believe this company is a complete ripoff. NOTE.......After many phone calls and emails, I was advised that the management that I had been trying to resolve our problem with, was no longer with the company. The new manager, within one week managed to remedy the problems we had complained about. I can only hope that this indicates that this rv park will be operated in the proper manner. If we are near Tamarisk rv park, I would try staying there again.

Constant dog barking. Overbearing stench of dog crap. Flies.dog barking. Stench.flies bartking stench.As miserable a place as you would imagineThe junk car s washers d ryers you name it is staggering.Like something out a a cheap horror movie.Even in the cooler months the stench from about 299 dogs is unbelievable. Every dog is as nasty as its ownerGet rid of these mongrels.and do something about the dogs too

Snotty mexican manager not friendly at all, like she doesnt want you to rent, so, doesnt pay attention, acts too busy to look at you. I wouldnt want to rent here.

Please rethink your place to stay. This place is below par and after a recommendation I received I had my in-laws stay there. To this day they still give me a hard time about having them stay there. These are hard core RV people that have traveled Mexico to Alaska and this was the worst place period. I will forever regret referring them to stay there and they will never allow me to forget it.
