My Ex-Wife has lived here off hand on for around ten years (her mom used too own they unit but now hers). She has been living there full time for a couple years now this time And now is there owner (her mom put it on her name Andway now lives full time all year where she was born! Im Hungary). My ex-wife loves it there.

SUCH a perfect relaxing weekend away from LA.We were looking for a spot to relax and get out of the city, and we settled on Palm Springs. However, we were booking for a holiday weekend (Memorial Day) and only a few weeks out. So with the short notice, everything was pretty overpriced. We found a few sky valley resort tiny homes on Airbnb and settled on one of the more modern models. We were kind of scared that the home was gong to be cramped...But, it wasn’t bad at all! It had a nearly full kitchen and a full bath. The bedroom even had a lot of room as well. The best part was our tiny home came with a side yard/patio area, where we got to grill and enjoy time outside! The pools are heated by the hot springs, some are hotter than others. And some of the hot tubs are hotter as well, so test all the pools to find the one with the right temp for you!!! They’re mineral pools so no chlorine or harsh chemicals! Perfect relaxing pools. The staff was friendly as well! The resort is very pet friendly, there’s even a few small private dog parks. Our dog was comfortable in the small side outdoor area that was included in our tiny home. We only had two nights there, it was quiet even on a holiday weekend!! Wish we had more time!

Had a great 2 week stay at Sky Valley Resort! We rented an RV site & the amenities were wonderful and clean. The staff was super friendly. The kids loved riding bikes through the neighborhood, swimming in the mineral springs pools and eating at the cafe :) It was far enough away from everything to be nice and quiet, but close enough to stores & restaurants that we didn’t feel too secluded. Would definitely return again if we are in the area!

An oasis in the desert. Mixture of permanent homes and RV sites. Great amenities includes organized activities and mineral pools/hot tubs. Must like Sand to enjoy this location. Sites are on sand, some concrete patios and full hook ups. Sites vary widely in size and view. The less expensive sites are small.

This is where I stayed while in the process of relocating to the Desert, and where I now work with some friends who own one of the units in the park. Being here is a lovely experience that really encapsulates the healing vibe and hardy community I have discovered in the Coachella Valley. There is a truly neighborly feeling between short term visitors and long term residents alike. The park is easy to get around in and the pools are so soothing. The resort is also inclusive of folks of all ages and different backgrounds. I love it!

Our rate reflects the Passport America discount of $26 a night for up to 7 nights, and I reserved and extended our stay via a quick easy phone call. We arent normally overly exciting with commercial camping, but we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this park ended up feeling. My biggest complaint is the lack of good dog walking/bathroom areas, but there is a dog park.We had a large, level, pull-through site, and while the park is packed snug with homes, we didnt have trouble getting in or out. While we had neighbors on both sides, our site included an ample amount of space, and we made use of the outdoor patio with visiting guests on multiple nights. This place is definitely a commercial park, and I wish they had included a little more room for walking (there arent sidewalks), especially with a dog. However, we didnt feel stuffed in, and when we did interact with neighbors and permanent residence, everyone was very friendly. Our utilities were well placed and worked fine, and the resort offers a number of perks that we didnt use... pool, laundry, gym, group activities, tennis, etc. This CG is a nearby to Palm Springs (maybe 20 minutes?), and there are other amenities, grocery, USPS, etc, etc within about 15 minutes drive. Verizon worked fine here without the booster.

This review is for Sky Valley Resorts Leasing sales office. I have rented through the park and also directly with owners here. However I’m really disappointed how quickly they turn on you when you don’t deal with them anymore. They are extremely rude once you’re an owner it seems like. There’s a young guy and also an elderly white lady both rude, it’s like they trained them for this kind of attitude. We were staying in the park to see if we like it to buy but after seeing how these people have treated me and others we will not. Don’t come in their office asking any questions or even for a simple glass of water because they will turn you around as if you insulted them. Simple human decency does not love here. Sad how this turned out but not the people I want to give thousands of dollars if this how they operate. Shame on you.

The pools were cold and when I came to the office to ask them to fix it, they could put in a maintenance request but that would take at least a day to fix it. Since it was our last day that was a real let down. Christa, the woman in charge was very unkind. She was implying that because I spoke with other people I wasnt expressing my own opinion. Not sure what she meant by that but it felt like she said I was wrong and the pools are fine. It seems like a really nice place and maybe with another manager it might be.

We were looking for a place to stay near Joshua Tree National Park when I saw the Passport America listing for Sky Valley Resort ($22.50 per night for the smaller sites.) Really nice sites with very good hookups. Lots of permanent residents but by May, not many are still there. Very well maintained park. We were 1 hour away from the North entrance of Joshua Tree Park. There are actually three entrances. The Main entrance is near Yucca, Az at Joshua Tree City off Hwy 62 and another entrance about 20 miles down on Hwy 62 at 29 Palms. We were advised to go through the 29 Palms entrance because of possible long lines at the main entrance. We were the only ones at the 29 Palm gate. We enjoyed touring the park and then exited through the Southern entrance, called the Cottonwood entrance. It comes out on I-10 about 30 miles east of Sky Valley. Made for a great day!

You can put as much money into a place as you want, it is about the people; when you dont have good people around, it ruins everything for the people who are good and follow the rules!! If youre going to destroy land for solar panels, share the savings with your customers and your residents!!

Just arrived today. There was a problem with registration because there was no way my 44 toy hauler would be able to negotiate the turns to get to the space they had reserved for me. As it is high season in the area with all the snow birds in town no other RV park had openings. They offered me a half price rate and put me in the group/overflow lot. Not pretty but after a few months in Arizona hiking and tracking Native Historical trails I really needed the time soaking in the mineral hot springs so the overflow lot is fine for 3 days of hot spring rejuvenation before getting back to work on my book!

The resort is very nicely maintained. The pools, hot tubs, mineral showers are wonderful and warm, well cared for. The trailer site is a disappointment, crammed together and thank goodness for quiet neighbors. Had electric issues and it took two calls to get someone to take care of it. Though the staff is warm and friendly they are short on information on check-in. Needed a remote for our site to get cable but not mentioned at check-in. Wanted to do laundry before leaving but no one mentioned they have a prepay card system or how to use it. Yet another trip to the office and they have a guess card for you to use. Off to the east club house to add money to it with the cash station in one room and a credit card station in another but someone needs to tell you these things. No stations in the West club house. Both laundry facilities are spotless and worth the frustration. A simple packet of info at check-in would have made this simple and easy. Just hop into a hot tub and you can get over these frustrations.

After a long drive to Sky Valley RV resort it looked like a little oasis in the desert. Its a pretty resort as you first enter with clear blue pools and well groomed grounds, but the grounds are not quite as well kept further into the resort (Though there were a couple gardeners working at it.)The RV sites are deep sand - no gravel, which blows constantly. (Better have a great vacuum and be ready to use it several times a day)The property is NOT AT ALL secure. Even though they have a guard shack as you enter we were allowed to enter twice with no identification or questions; just, Have a great day! Anyone can wander in and out from any point, especially the unsecured side gates. This is especially scary when youre in the restrooms. There is very little privacy in the showers and no security at all - Definitely my biggest concern. The resort is older and in need of many repairs - especially the bathrooms. We never saw even one security guard around the resort and a couple people said they had tools, equipment, and even a trailer stolen. We saw several ADT type signs on the permanent homes because, we were told, residents feel they need to provide their own security.MANY people have dogs and walk them all over the resort (not in a dog park) allowing their pets to relieve themselves wherever without impunity. I never once saw a pet owner pick up their pets waste, they just walk away and leave it - There are also feral cats running around and with all this sand it felt like we were basically living in a litter box.Its a minimum 1+ hour round trip drive to any kind of store even for groceries and not on great roads. The full time residents are VERY NICE and helpful; most doing a good job of keeping their homes looking nice and well maintained. Though there are several Home businesses with hair cutting outside and displays of wares, junk on tables and yard sale type items with, Make an offer signage. There are lots of plants, cactus, flowers, and trees including many varieties of citrus trees which were nice. The roads in the resort are all paved, making for nice clean walks, but because there is no security, people drive very fast including in golf carts so you have to be extra vigilant when walking. The water is so full of minerals that it will ruin your coach without a really good filter system. Some of the air conditioners have inches thick minerals all over them. But on the plus side, the minerals are supposed to help joint pain and the mineral pools are very warm and clear. We were told WiFi was included but it was so slow that it barely connects and spools constantly - you can bump up the WiFi if youre willing to pay and extra $20 but they wont tell you this until after you check in and pay.We were over charged $106 from our original quote on the phone when we made our deposit, and when I brought it to their attention they were testy and downright rude as if we were ignorant or cheap for asking that it be refunded. Each person we spoke with passed the buck and inferred that it was somehow our fault that we were overcharged. Because of this unacceptable accusation and runaround we decided nothing would do but a refund and leave the park. The manager could have handled this so much better instead of trying to cover the mistake with rude accusations. This is not the place we want to spend our holiday and we were happy to leave. Not a horrible resort for sure, but not one I could recommend.
