How can we get refunds for Puddles pity party show? The show has been cancelled twice already, its been 3 month and your Talent Buyer keeps on giving us ran around and constant delays. How is this fair to your paying customer? I understand this are some hards times for restaurant and event businesses but its no easier on your customers. How long are we suppose to wait for our money???

Very interesting place indeed. We came to see a spiritual medium do a bigger group meeting. I felt the space needed to be bigger for that type of event, but the location itself is great. Food was not too bad. Service mixed up our order but I didnt mind it too much provided we were there for the event and not the food. It was a great experience overall!

Surprised that a venue beneath a pub can feel quaint and modern at the same time. Intimate venue with state of the art acoustics and fun, well thought out placement of tables in tiered, cabaret style setting. Comfortable, engaging atmosphere and a real ability to enjoy the music presented. Our waiter seemed super confused and perhaps new at his job, but hey - maybe it was his first day. If you buy two tickets, you will be sharing your table with two others if they have been purchased. Food seemed sort of expensive and i ended up buying Pellegrino all night so I could get a constant supply of cool water. I had to repeatedly ask for ice and never got any so I went to the bar and was told they were out of glasses. I’m not sure what was going on that night but it didn’t affect the truly great time I had. They had an issue with lighting the show at the beginning and the manager or person on charge was totally on top of resolving the problem immediately. Go there to see legends, geniuses, up and comers as well as enjoy their lovely, intimate and fun environment. I’ll go back anytime!!

I LOVE the music they get there, wow! Very intimate environment, not a bad seat for viewing bands. They have food, drinks/alcohol. I gave the 4 stars as the seating can be interesting, sometimes tight, my husband is 6 and had a rough time with servers and others constantly passing by in the narrow aisle. That wont keep us from going again.

I thought about rating this place one star to keep the secret to ourselves, but I just cant do that. Honestly if I could give it 10 stars I would, its that outstanding. Dont walk - run - to the Soiled Dove and the outstanding shows they have for fantastic prices. I really thought I had died and gone to heaven listening to the Peter White concert tonight. Went there for the first time recently, and my wife ordered a champagne. The server brought her the bottle but no glass, expecting her to drink it straight from the bottle. When I asked why he didnt bring a glass, he said they were all out but that hed try to find one. After about 15 minutes, I went up to the bar myself, and there were about two dozen champagne flutes. No apology, just a oh good, you found one when he came back.

I like the venue but it is pretty lame that they charge for soda for designated drivers. You would think they make enough money off the bar that they wouldnt need to charge $4 for a coke. Most bars have DD pricing to help make sure their patrons get home safely. It would be nice if the Soiled Dove followed suit.

I loved coming to this venue before. Im not sure what changed, but the only staff that made the experience worth while were the wait staff. Someone else got seated at our table, and instead of finding somewhere for us, we were moved around during the show. We ended up in a handicap table, and got rudely displaced from there as well. The lady who told us to move was so rude and disrespectful. No offer of another table, no apology. This isnt how you run a venue, if you want people to keep coming back.

Lied to and discriminated against for being physically disabled. Called night before ordering tickets to a show to ask questions, never been there no idea how place is situated and saw that tickets for next night said standing room so-called venue to see if like other locations to see shows if there was like seats near a bar or something do that I would be able to sit and stand periodically without a hassle or not available. Like plenty of places may have standing room area dance floor which is fine because there may be chairs off to side off dance floor or bar or somewhere and since never been to the location and there was no information online about any ADA ticketing, seats or information about the venue ..I called which is what people like me that are physically disabled do. I called and the lady was nice and inforned me to not to worry they actually have a table not available online for people like me, or wheelchairs etc. I said no not in wheelchair or no longer cane but I do have handicap placard  and just had back surgery (this isnt the reason I am physically handicapped either and shouldnt matter regardless) and its why I need to know if I will be able to sit and stand frequently and not lose the seat to rest in when needed. She said no worries it was available for me, so I asked his many seats at table and if okay to bring extra, she assured up to 4 people total would be fine. She was rushed it was Friday night, I barely told her my first name, she gave me no further instructions and only No well accommodate you and your party. So I bought only available option online ticket for first 2seats, then found more people as to fill out table and bought 2 more additional.Treated so rudely at door, lady at door moment we arrived.  She proceeded to tell us that only 2 seats were available and that they only took cash at door. Corrected her that we had already bought tickets online and it was for 4 and I called night before about it. She admitted she heard I had called night prior, found my tickets all together in box, and then proceeded to lie to me saying that I bought the tickets wrong. That 2 were for a table, the two seats she just tried to sell me for cash, and the other 2 were for standing room only and that she and their establishment wasnt responsible for the ticketing site or their website and to take it up with the ticketing company. Pardon me? You are not responsible and you knew that we called in advance to avoid this scenerio? That isnt the website, that was their words and promises. If I had been told night before that no there isnt any place to rest or all tables were sold out or anything to the sorts, I wouldnt have bought ZERO tickets let alone 4 to fill the held in reserve handicap table they offered to me before I bought any. When I got home and had time this weekend to review my ticket purchases in email, all the tickets were the same! I made no mistakes as she claimed at door and lied to my face.My other 2 people had not arrived yet and I was so humiliated at the door and the person I was with was getting upset at the ordeal..so we left them there with her and went to the seats she wrote down by hand on our tickets, which were labeled standing room as thats all that had been available online night before when I called. My friends no longer wanted to join us hearing we wouldnt be together at the event, none of us had been there before and so I had to swallow the additional tickets. It was apparent from her stare that she didnt think I need any accommodations and treated me like I was somehow trying to pull one over by having called, even tho when we first arrived she was trying to sell us those exact same seats. They also tried charging us for an additional round of drinks, was due to wait staff being unorganized which they corrected but I had to point it out to get correct bill.Good luck and you get 2 stars for sound quality and actual band. Zero for environment, zero for staff, zero for ethical treatment.PS. There are no seats for standing room area at all, all seats are reserved

Soiled Dove is the best venue for live jazz in Denver, and the artists are mostly nationally acclaimed and Grammy award winners. My wife and I go eat at the Tavern upstairs, then walk down to the Underground for an intimate (500 seats - and the back row is not more than 50 feet from the stage) setting. Other music genres play there , but we just go to the jazz concerts.

Great venue, food, & service. However on a 90 degree night their air conditioning goes out on a sold out show, putting everyone, including their staff , children and toddlers at risk. People can faint under those conditions! Our poor waitress had to take the grunt of everyones complaints. Not even bringing in any floor fans for any relief. Half of the venue cleared out by mid set second band cause they could t take it anymore. Musicans complained about it during their sets. I got through it rubbing ice one my arms and neck and felt so dehydrated the next day. I understand you cant just instantly fix the AC, but at least bring in some floor fans or portable units.

The Soiled Dove Underground is an amazing venue for live jazz. Ive been a couple times, and most recently sat in the front row right next to the stage. The ticket prices for the front row were not much more expensive than the back row. The staff is friendly here. Parking can be a slight challenge. My main complaint is the food - the menu is small and not friendly for my wifes dairy-free diet, and its hard to make a decent dinner from the limited options (which is necessary coming from Boulder county for a weeknight show that starts at 7pm). The drink menu is good, with a variety of beers and wines. I always look forward to my favorite artists booking their tour here.

If your favorite artist is coming to Denver and you see that they are playing here, you HAVE TO GO. It is a smaller venue with a large dance area in front of the stage and tables around the back making it easy to get very close to the artist. But even better than that, the sound board technicians are talented people. Ive seen a few musical acts there, one is a band Ive seen about ten times in other venues. The sound here is so good. I could hear every instrument clearly and hear every word from the vocalist. These were very loud rock bands. The Winery Dogs show was phenomenal. They also have really good food.
