A really cool venue. The old brick inside is super cool. Its split into two venues. Located in an up and coming part of Denver. There are a lot of places to grab a bite or drink in the area. Making it a cool place to spend the night. I hit the pizza joint with the walk up window. Very cool.

Cervantes has been one of my favorite venues since I moved to Colorado in 2014. It hosts a variety of electronic/funk/jam/psychadelic type genres. They also host live painters and vendors to share their art and buy their art. Ive met some of the best of people there! Check it out if you are in need a release and have to dance your butt off.

I traveled from out of state to see Louisiana own Dumpsterphunk: Ian Neville, Tony Hall, and more. At the open door-My first impressions were a sign is needed about ticket purchase should be made before entering the establishment and a sign pointing to their Box Office to purchase tickets. After returning with a ticket, security officers were respectful, through without being aggressive or invasive when checking bags, purses, coats, etc. before walking through the metal detector. Surprisingly, a Coat Check worker provided a kind greeting and offered to take my coat for free. I hesitated, but the work stated that their job was to be stationary with the coats during the whole event. The ballroom space was wide open with great acoustics from the stage and a spacious bar. The standing tables had areas to hang coats, purses, etc. and a few tables and a few chairs. The other side was a smaller area, security at the door, stage, bar, and a place for snacks: taquitos, burritos, chips, etc. The bartenders were friendly and a few humorous workers. People were friendly and kind. Pocket Protectors Band was worth listening and dancing to. Overall, I plan to see more events at the Cervantes in Denver, CO.

This was a very nice intimate venue. Waiting outside was not too bad, not a bad part of town like some people were saying, the entry was a little bit slow as they only had 1 person scanning tickets but we were in the front so it didnt affect us. The show was great, sound was fantastic, and it was a very fun night. Definitely will look forward to any shows at this venue, as it is very small, which I love, with a cool asthetic to it.

Great venue. Note that The Other Side, while connected via an interior door, is almost always treated as a separate venue, requiring ticket purchase for each. Sometimes, a ticket covers both acts/sides. Check your ticket closely and plan accordingly.

This is a good venue that has been around for a while. The intimate setting allows for fan interaction. The sound is great as well. I only wish there was a bit more seating on the floor. Most of the tables and seating are reserved for Vips. Overall, this is a great place to catch a show.

Live music any day of the week pretty much. Two sides of the bar with different acts on each side. Plenty of space to boogie with clean (usually) bathrooms. The patio was a nice addition to an already cool spot. Scott, one of the owners will definitely go out of his way to make everyone feel welcome which I personally appreciate. There are a couple of rude bouncer door guys but what night spot doesn’t have one or two of those? Overall a great place to catch great music.

Very surprised and disheartened to find out the owners of this place started a GoFundMe via text message blast asking patrons to donate to their employees while the venue remains closed. Although I totally understand the hardships employees must be going through, you should take the profits of your overpriced drinks and other services to foot the bill, not ask your customers. Who, mind you, are going through an equally tough time economically. Shame on you Cervantes.

Shout out to the Security team at Cervs! We had a friend that went a little overboard on the booze and their staff helped him walk and offered him water, juice and candy to help him come back to reality. They were very knowledgeable and were very kind. They didn’t make a big scene about it and were only trying to help. I hope you all get a fat raise because you couldn’t pay me enough to deal with situations like that for a living. You guys are the best, big thanks for all your help!

This is my favorite venue. I lived in CO my whole life, and this venue is constantly improving. The service is fast n friendly. Theres pizza n snacks. There is a nice variety of different music to enjoy. And the sound is Great also! keep it up. I however, do not like the new metal detectors. I felt safe before them, it takes longer to get in. And they kind of have an off putting feeling, that clashes with the welcoming vibe of the place its self.

The venue was not set nice. I paid for VIP and it was everything but that. There was lack of seating and tables, the stool I had was broken. You literally just paid to be on a balcony. The people who were in security and greeting were not nice at all. They were not able to support Robert Glaspers equipment so he had to get new keyboards in which his main one went out. He had to play a smaller one which sounded like a casio. His who set for music presentation was messed up. The sound quality was mediocre and you could hear people talking while the concert was going on. The electrical problem in the building delayed the concert start over 30 min. I left early, disappointed and displeased. I have been to quite a few concerts and venues this year, and this by far was the worst I have experienced. It was not worth the money I spent. The only good things was the bar that was upstairs and the nice bartender. So that is why there is a second star.

This place would get negative stars if it was possible. GREEDY OWNNERS! AND FIRE HAZARD AT EVERY SHOW AT THE OTHER SIDE! CERVANTES is ok. Thats why they got a Star. The other side however is ALWAYS over sold. Pass legal capacity on 3 different shows! This is not only dangerous but it makes it so you cant dance, you cant buy alcohol you cant even move! This use to be a Denver main stay, now thanks to the other side” its now a must avoid

I had the pleasure to ENJOY a Lucky Daye concert at The Other Side and absolutely loved the intimate venue, the outside space and even the little dining option was cool (although I didnt eat). If you have the chance to go to concert here know that it isnt a really big place, but it will still attract a decent crowd. There are maybe about 6-10 available seats in a slightly elevated area in the rear (so buy early access if seating is big for you), and you will have a good time!!!! Definitely will be looking for more artists to see at this venue.

I traveled from out of state to see Jaquees and at first i was having a great time until i had to get fresh air and i asked where do we go for air and smoke a cig they said go to the patio but one of the security and bartenders said no they werent doing the back to back between both bars, that i was supposed to go to the front, so i went to the front and was allowed to go as im coming back in one of the securiy men said i wasnt allowed back in, so i had to sit outside while i missed the other half of Jaquees show. I paid to see him and sit in their VIP and i wasnt allowed back in. They were rude and didnt communicate with each other. Thats why i asked before i went ouside and was told yes i could then the other one says no! Yet as im standing there they were allowing many other females back in and as i asked why do they get to go in all he kept saying was have a good night. So i waited putside for my friend mind you she didnt have her phone so didnt even know where i was until she peeped out while looking for me . I think the security was wrong. We are the fans. Not there for u but for the performer. You sat there while a fight happened and you were more worried about me sneaking back in then the safety of others. Security made the place and show a horrible experience..

I absolutely love coming to see some of my favorite bands play here because its a small venue so no matter where you are its s good place to see the stage! We went to see Goose (excellent band) here on 12/7 and it was overcrowded to the point where it seemed unsafe. As I made my way out of the crowd, side shuffling through hordes of people, I was concerned I wouldnt be able to make it to the exit. Ive never been to a show so overcrowded. Even all the way at the back there was no room to stand comfortably, let alone dance. They were letting more people in from outside and Cervantes as I left with seemingly no regard for the fact that everyone in the audience was finding it impossible to move around at all!!! They told me no re-entry without paying for another ticket. It was loud and hot and I had a wristband and a ticket and I was on the list of reserved tickets from my friend being in the band, so I figured theyd let me back in, I was just getting some air.I tried to go back in and explain the situation. They were extremely rude and told me I had to leave or buy another ticket. Even when my friend in the band came over to explain, they just told me to get out. Ridiculous.
