I’m here for Covid19 testing. It’s Veterans Day and they are conducting testing (well I’m in my car in line, so I hope so!). I have no idea how long it will take, not sure exactly how long line is, tough to see. I arrived at 9:10 AM and line has moved a little in 5 minutes. Hopefully that’s a good sign. I’ll update when done. I guess I’ll stick it out, haven’t been feeling great.

For COVID-19 Testing. The personnel assigned to the lines today 11/30/20 (2:00pm 4:30) doesn’t know the difference between regular line and priority line. The regular line was moving much faster than the priority one. I locking forward to NO need to go there again.

Especially in times like now, it’s such a beautiful open space and the views are ridiculous.If you’re looking for an amazing workout place or picnic or wine down place, LOOK NO FURTHER VISTA VIEW WILL BE YOUR GO TO AS WELL

I remember when it was a landfill. Great idea for a park. Air quality is just fine. Nice place. Recommend.

Avoid for covid testing. No sign to estimate waiting. Going on 2 hour wait. Not even halfway. Not prepared for the pre Thanksgiving rush. Unfortunately, unable to get out of the line. AVOID THIS LOCATION!

Beautiful and very unusual park for south Florida. Ive been there during storm. Grey sky, cool weather and rain combined with massive green slopes felt like Ireland or iceland in summer! It was so cool!

Great place for walking, even hills

Floridas only park made in the mountains, that a long time a go was trash recycling. The park is clean, grass trimmed, costs 1.50 for adults (children under 5 are free), on holidays and weekend. There are picnic tables throughout the park, and there are also covered party tables that need to be reserved. You can easily see people running, biking, walking, exercising, doing yoga. We saw a lot of birds, squirrels, we even found a bunny yesterday. It has specific place to use airplanes by radio control. The view from the top is fantastic... the sunset is too beautiful. I highly recommend this park ... you can’t not have fun there.

We had really good time here. The park is pretty big, clean, neat and nice.You can do those activities : Ride a bike, walking, fishing, hiking, picnic.Plenty of parking is available. For weekends each person $1.5 and rest of the time for free.They have radio controlled airplane field which was interesting I have never seen.Those signs say there could be an alligator but I dont really believe. Because I saw lots of turtles, fish, birds and animals and they were hanging around but always be cautious.I would definitely suggest here.

A work out can be done in a variety of ways at this park and thats good. My major concern is in the area where the walk path runs parallel to the lake. That lake has gators and other wildlife. A sturdy barrier should be constructed between the lake and the path. Walkers and runners still need to be cautious but at least a barrier/fence would provide some measure of safety. It is concerning.

Great experience with natural beauty and workout with slight inclined hills.

Nice park with a couple of hills where you could run, walk, resistance train. A few areas track team use this park to train their runners. It has covered shelters for parties and picnic areas, bathrooms, water fountain, marked trails, and landing area for remote toy planes. The park is a nesting site for burrowing owls but you can see other wildlife. Theres ample parking and entrance is free Monday through Friday.

It has a hill and good bike paths. Good facilities. On the down side, few trees. Too bad the park administration did not bother to plant many trees. Thus it gets very hot with little shade. This park should have been forested.

Today was such a lovely day to visit this park, yet I had no idea how huge Vista View Park really was. Everywhere I looked people were either walking the trails, walking their dogs, running, skating, bicycling, playing basketball, fishing at the pier, or watching their kids playing on the playground. There were even people walking up and along the big hills. Might as well call this Fitness Park because thats what everyone was doing...being active.Vista View Park is open seven days a week. Admission is free during the week and costs $1.50 on weekends and holidays. There is plenty of parking around the park, as well as pavilions and picnic shelters that can be reserved for birthday parties and/or barbecues. There are basketball courts, a fitness station, two playgrounds, and a catch & release fishing pier. The hills in the park are ideal for bicyclists to ride and train. There are also designated trails for horseback riding. I didnt see any horses, but I sure could smell the Sugar Honey Ice Tea in the air...HINT: The capital letters spells out the word. Pets are allowed in the park. They must be on leashes and the owners are responsible for the cleanup. Definitely will come back to Vista View Park. I would like to challenge myself to walk those trails after the holidays.

Great place for walks and running. Amazing views . Many areas for people to seat and relax. Vending machines available trough the park. Bathroom areas and plenty of parking space. This is a very beautiful park.

Its really nice there but learned Its an old garbage dump/land fill. Not sure about air quality though. My daughter is a runner and she had issues breathing.

I love it , this park is a great place. Quiet, very clean, only $1.50 to get in not like other parks. Clean bathrooms, nice mountains to ride your bikes with the family. Love the fact they have a recycling trash for cans. Dogs are welcome also.

I run here with my XC team and it really is just the greatest. They closed half the park due to Covid testing but they still managed to work out great!

Great park for outdoor activities to burn off your beer calories. You could get a little hike in. The hill is kind of steep its not so big ,but it’s doable!! Trust me you’ll feel the burn.. Plus the view here is amazing it’s not Mount Everest. But for flat Florida I’m satisfied. Definitely selfie approved.

Great open space park!Lots of space, making social distancing easy. Beautiful views and open space. Amazing park. Bike trails, walking trails, lake and kayak/canoe dock, basketball courts, playgrounds, running track, remote control vehicle tracks. Love that park.

Not a bad place to go get your Corona test In-N-Out theyre less than half an hour people were great. Got results within 48 hours.

Best place to become one with nature. Be careful with leaving belongs in the car. Like a lot of parks there are break ins. People are friendly and nice. Great place to do cardio.

This hidden gem is not so hidden. I believe its a former landfill. Its close to 75 off Griffin Rd. Easy in & out if youre traveling. Steep hills to climb- a rarity in flat Florida. Climb to the top and you have a nice panoramic view. Kites are flown a lot here.

This is a great part to get great exercise. You can do the entire course which is about 1 mile around. There are also a variety of heels depending on difficulty that you can run to meet your exercise needs. There are also restrooms where you are able to take a break get water and do whatever you need to do. I highly recommend this park because it is well kept and has different activities for everyone.

Great place to go jogging with inclines/declines as well as to simply go for a walk with family (or even your dog). Please keep your pets on a leash and clean up after them, of course.

Lovely park. Different to what’s around in the south Florida area. One of my favorites for sure. Haven’t explored it thoroughly, but I know there’s a lot to be doing there.

Great spacious park with amazing walking trails, shelter from the sun, and basketball hoops!There is a really steep hill to walk or jog up. Wow! Really gets your heart rate up!! The sunset at the top of the hill is beautiful. You can drive up or walk up! We love Vista View Park!!

I love the hills. Great hills for mountain biking and climbing for exercise. There are owls that nest in the fields.

I love this park! It has constant views of neighborhoods and the city, so beautiful. I recommend this park to anyone when it comes to picnics, barbecues, playing with the kids, exercising, filming a movie. The only downside is the time it closes, which is way earlier than most parks.

Nice place to walk or run, especially since it actually has elevation change. Yes, it used to be a landfill, but it had been transformed and is a great place to go. You can bring dogs on a leash, for a model airplane, there is an rc track, docks to fish from, and playground for the kids.

A beautiful park made from a landfill! This park had wife open areas, a beautiful jogging trail up the artificial mountain. You can drive your vehicle to the top of the mountain and enjoy panoramic views and beautiful sunsets. You can also watch the RC cars race on the track as well as RC Airplanes flying as well.

Great park, love going here every chance I get. Massive land space for almost everything, that have space dedicated for rc toys (planes/cars/helicopters) they have pathways for horseback riding, a good 4 full size basketball courts, like any other Broward park dogs are allowed but only on leash, they have one of maybe the biggest (man-made) mountains/hills in South Florida. Word was it was an old landfill that they filled and then converted but coming here you would never think that. Once you make it to the top of the hill its a beautiful site for you can see majority of Pembroke pines and Davie all around. Very peaceful lots of space so you still can have your privacy whether with family for a party which they rent out good size shelters or out for a jog or walk. Mon-friday free entrance. Weekends/holidays price is an inexpensive $1.50 per person. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to go somewhere for a nice walk or jog.

This is the best playground! My kids absolutely love to come here. It is clean and huge. Nice place for a bbq or exercise. Definitely worth the visit.

This is a one of a kind hilly park is the perfect picnic spot. It’s so spacious with big trees scattered everywhere for a little shade and benches that overlook the beautiful views below.There are trails great for jogging/ cycling and a playground area equip with pavilions that are great for parties and events. Best of all pets are welcomed.

Such a great spot and what a wonderful use of the land! Plenty of space for picnics, fitness, hanging out and even a flying remote planes (they have their own section, so no worries about getting bombarded!). Keep your eyes open for the owls, as they have made this a sanctuary! Not much shade, so bring your sunblock!

We come here 3 times out of the week to work out that baby weight. You can watch the most amazing sunset from here. Also probably the only park in Florida with a hill.

I love the hills! They put a really nice covered par course that has plenty of stations to get a complete workout. The park is always beautifully maintained.

A beautiful park! Being from up north, these are some of the few hills you will find in South Florida. Great place for a exercising or having a quiet picnic. Also, a very nice area for a photoshoot!

Best place for inclined Sprinting. Good view in all directions from the top of the hills. Occasionally, horseback riders from nearby ranches enter. Athletes train here often. There are protected burrowing owls in different areas of the park along with other forms of wildlife.

This is a nice place and we drive from Plantation to use the park. The one we have has had a bad down fall from when it was well maintained. After the park we do our shopping near the park and have lunch as well. We seldom use anything in Plantation these days other than our home after so many years.

There are several playgrounds and pavilions, and it is nice and clean. The playgrounds are very fun and seem relatively new. Its a fun place to go and I would recommend it.

I am pleased to see a trash dump converted to something very useful for all members of the community.It is a great place to go for all types of activities. Be mindful of the owl burrows and there is no swimming.Useful playgrounds for children of all ages. The park is kept very clean and well maintained.

The challenging hills and scenic view are not matched anywhere in South Florida.

This place is awesome. Although tucked away from civilization it can get crazy busy on the weekends. Great views of the surrounding landscape, and the circuit has some slight elevation changes if you want to mix it up. Plenty of others doing functional training on the steep hills as well. The exercise area off to the side has limited equipment but it gets the job done.

For a dump they made this park into a great place to visit, with the elevation so high you can see all the way east to the beach. Many hills to climb or ride a bike, rc planes and cars area. Playset for children, clean bathrooms and pavilions. I recommend

The name says it all, the only place in Broward County you can eat lunch on an 80ft hill over looking the vista.If your tired of walking around you block to work on your cardio this is the place. The park has hills, up down and around a new challenge every visit.The park has great covered playgrounds for the kids.Busy during the week, crazy on the weekends, always something going on.
