Old Davie was a amazing place to have our wedding!! They werensuper nice and friendly! We called sooooo many places and they were the only ones available for us to celebrate our special day!! I got to marry my best friend and reflect Gods glory that’s day, thanks to old Davie! Thank you!! The staff was super helpful! The hut we rented got burned off and they were so awesome to let us use somewhere else on campus that was bigger and helpful for amount of people we had!! It was perfect! Definitely a must go and place to do anything! Thank you again! Hope the pictures shows how happy we were on our wedding day

I could see myself being here if I had to, I dont typically gravitate towards the bourgeoisie wine scene but if I were, this place would suit well for the taste. Its more upbeat than a lot of wine bars, has a dark ambiance but still retains a lively feel with music pumping from overhead speakers. Wine is more expensive than most places, but how else will they finance the lovely decor. Didnt try the food. Nice place to keep in the back pocket for a third date or after thought after dinner.

1/11/2020 - My wife and I had the most magical wedding in this location. From the outdoor ceremony to the under the tiki cocktail hour all the way to the reception in the 100+ year old school was just amazing! We highly recommend this place to others!

Where else would you see a Calf-teria? (The actual name on the bucket)Its much more than just the school building itself, which has a classroom, a room full of old photos (like citrus being loaded onto barges in the canal across the street), newspaper articles, Etc, and a room full of artifacts. The whole second floor is one big room where events can be held.Out back are two historic homes (one a mail-order Sears Roebuck house!) chock full of antique furniture and utensils/tools that people used in their everyday life 100 years ago.Theres also a log cabin, an outhouse, a building with citrus sorting and washing machinery from a packing house, a couple of tractors, a garden, and a park.During events like the Orange Blossom Festival, volunteers dress in historic garb and cook food for visitors using cast iron pots and pans over open fires. You can tell the many volunteers take great pride in their town and its heritage, and keep the whole place in pristine condition. They also have really decent docents!

Very interesting place teaching us a part of our past to admire! Interesting to see how children studied those days. Beautiful school. Toured also the house on the grounds. The tour guide Lisa Caspanello lead us into a very unique, beautifully decorated house room by room. Her descriptions of everything in place made us feel as if she was living there. She really loves the place, and knows a lot about the local history. We recommend visiting this gem. Children will enjoy experiencing life 100 years ago.

This historic old school building is on lovely grounds in the center of Davie. I remember it as the center of teacher education and activities. It is really nice to see that it has been converted into a beautiful hall rented for events. This adds a charm and history to anything that takes place there. Across the road from a charming canal and providing very good parking.

Beautiful place! Friendly staff! We had our wedding here in December of 2016 and had a wonderful experience. :) they were very accommodating and even let us have a rehearsal the day before without charging us! The schoolhouse is just gorgeous, and the bridal dressing room was perfect for getting ready beforehand. It even had a shower, though we didn’t need it.

Very nice museum. It feels like you are stuck in time. Its very interesting to see how people lived years ago. It was very nice they had free events for kids like a petting zoo, pony rides, an obstacle course, and presentation by the Davie Police Department, and even a free craft table. Definitely going back to the next event.

Good venue for community event. Very nice band Shell and grass seating area. The event we attended advertised food trucks and only had one truck that sold burgers and fries and another one that had ice cream. While that was disappointing it was a good event and a great place for families with kids.

Great venue! Was there for a wedding the space lends itself to a vintage kind of look. As one of the older buildings in South Florida it is a unique spot for weddings, bar mitzvahs, and will give any event that old vintage feel.

Used it as a training location for about 80 people. Plenty of space, but floor is creaky as to be expected of a 100 year old building. Bathrooms are clean, small kitchen good for meal prep storage. Plenty of tables and chairs and lots of natural light. Cool venue.
