I been going to the park for about 16 years and I still love it

Lots of shade, $2 soda machine, comfortable pavilions. Play structures have shade, but not enough to cover the numerous slides. Kids should wear pants to avoid burns from the hot plastic.

Bergeron Park is a small 3.5 acre neighborhood park. There is a large 40 person shelter with 8 picnic tables that can be rented for parties. There is a restroom and electric grill. There is a also a smaller shelter with 4 picnic tables and a charcoal grill. Other park amenities include a playground and walking/ horse trail. There is room to park a horse trailer in the parking lot.At the entrance to the park there are two busts of the people for whom the park is named, Percy and Dorothy Bergeron who were early settlers of Davie. They opened one of the first grocery stores in Davie. Percy Bergeron served in WWII and was a was a founding member of the Davie Chamber of Commerce. The family donated the parcel of land for the park and Percy and Dorothys son Ron Bergeron partnered with the city to refurbish the park in 2011.

Love this park for the kids! Expansive grass area for running, playing catch, frisbee or just tiring out! Two play grounds one for little tots one for elementary kids. 4 big kid swings (which are always a plus and nice to have more than 2 to avoid arguments) There are also two gazebos which are rentable for parties and they have restrooms on the premises. Nice bike path also, and straight path to Tree Tops!

Nice park to walk around in and have parties, nice grass field and 2 covered pavilions plus a playground. A path running the perimeter is good for walking or biking.

I love to take my son here on the weekends we have a blast and plus they put the overhangs on the playset so the kids dont get hot during the day

Random spot for Pokemon. Nice walking trail and picnic benches. Low on parking so a party here would be tough.

Love this park always very clean not over crowded.

Beautiful, safe and with a nice playground area

Bring water or bring dollars for Coke machine and try not to feel icky about the stains on the benches.This park has only one pavilion so parties wont be fighting for attention and parking. Theres a playground and plenty of open area to take a stroll.I wish the pinic tables and seats werent stained otherwise the rating would be 4 stars. The bending machine instead of a water fountain also counts for the other missing star.

I like this place because if its field and bike path as well as it has restrooms but they arent always kept up to par so beware and vending machine takes money and gives nothing or you buy frozen solid drink
