Its beautiful and beautiful scenery. The only thing that ruins it is obviously people. They do NOT clean after their dogs. Other than that the park is beautiful and peaceful to walk around and have a nice day among the pine trees and a beautiful lake. People need to be more responsible, this is the reason why a lot of parks decide not to allow dogs in, this is exactly why so the few larks dogs are actually allowed in we should keep them clean. We had a great day in there.

Beautiful park ! Nice little place to take kids fishing ! There is a pathway you can go around the whole lake . People ride there horses close by which is cool to see. Lots of ducks to feed.

Beautiful preservation/ park. Peaceful and refreshing... take a hammock or a chair and enjoy nature. Go for a walk or a bike ride through the park and enjoy the scenery.

It is a very beautiful park and is great change of pace from most parks in South Florida. The trees grow in such an interesting way and the water is as fresh as it is clean.

Beautiful smallish park with lovely Australian pine trees creating plenty of shade for walking or biking. The path around the lake is not paved but rather covered mainly with pine needles. Theres no swimming but the water looks very clean. Fishing is allowed.

Nice place for a walk. Shady areas for a picnic. There are only a few picnic tables. Dogs welcome and can cool off with a jump in the lake.

Excellent for biking or walking. Bike trail is not paved but not overly difficult. There are some optional hard spots that I did not try yet.

Went out with a local group of RC enthusiasts and had a nice trail ride through out the park, lots of other things to do like kyaking, fishing, horse riding or just go on a scenic walk, just watch out for the horse poop!

Its a small path beautiful scenery and the benefit of having a horse trails allows you to experience the many trainers and riders that enjoy this park. The water is emerald green. I enjoyed by way of bicycle dont forget to notice the huge iguana on the midpoint of lake he is a beauty

Loved it. BUT I would add more trash cans inside the park, I was walking with my dogs poop bag for an hour and it made it uncomfortable. I didnt find a trash can until I got back to the entrance

Quiet and heavenly. The lake is beautiful and the Australian pines provide some nice shade from the Florida heat. Its our favorite place!

Beautiful park and lake. Very easy and fun trail hike around a lake filled with ducks.

Love this place. Would give it 5 stars if there were a few benches along the trail around the lake.Lots of hills and path variations. Feels like your up North. Dogs on or off leash, doesnt seem to matter. The fishing is great. Big pavilion with a huge , clean BBQ. Lots of shade. Parking lot is gravel so its a little rough and I wish there were a few placed to stop anf sit along path.

Great park!! There were folks with their horses and familys celebrating it seemed. Very cute, the lake is huge! I took my dog to go on the kayak and I took him on a nice walk after in the park trail with a different view of the lake! Must see for those with paddle boards and kayaks!!

A lovely, tranquil little park to escape the noise, overcrowding and filth of South Florida. Great place for equestrians. I’d recommend women use caution walking alone off the main footpath.

Beautiful place to take a peaceful walk. The pine trees make you feel as if you are hundreds of miles away even though you are a few miles from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. I was shocked to see people letting their dogs in the water. A nearby park not only had a dog killed but the dogs owner was killed by an alligator while she possibly was trying to rescue the dog. Nothing should go in that water other than what nature planed for.

Trails can be a bit muddy as they are only a dirt path around the lake.

Place is clean and nice. Restrooms are clean. More activities would help. Horses for example. Plus BBQ should be there. Ducks are awesome!

I always have a good time when I go to Wolf Lake. It’s a nice spot to take pictures or just chill and read. There are no benches around the pathway only in the parking lot so it you need to stop and rest this might not be the right park.

Beautiful park w/gorgeous trees & easy parking but before you bring your fur baby, be aware that some people dangerously disregard ‘Dogs must be on a leash’. We saw a total of 4 dogs unleashed. A woman w/3 unleashed dogs & then a man with 1.

Great local natural park. The town of Davie FL. Does a great job at maintaining this natural gem. The parking is free.Theres a covered picnic area as well as picnic tables and restrooms. The path of pine needles and sand make it great for runners walkers and horses.Just watch out for the occasional root poking through the sand. Every so often the fragrance coming from the fennel growing along the trail hits you right in the face..There are many types of wildlife. Keep your head up. Ive seen swallow tailed kites and horned owls. Just to list a couple. Peacock bass do inhabit the lake. If youre lucky you might spot a gar chasing the bass. Remember it is a natural park with many types of animals living there. Including snakes.

Great place for horseback riding! Fantastic trail around the huge lake! Let your horses cool off in the lake shore! The trail is also good for jogging or walking and pets are allowed! Some say theres good fishing there as well!

While Wolf lake is a very beautiful Park and offers a quiet relaxing atmosphere the lake itself is a former lime quarry the city themselves have posted 0 signs stating this or though they do have several signs that say no swimming this does not inform visitors from other states that they could contracted Lyme disease from the lake let alone some locals that have recently moved here dont even know about this and allow their children to swim in the lake my advice do not go into the lake when visiting Wolf lake.

This is 50 acre park with a shelter, meeting room, picnic tables, grills, and a restroom. An equestrian trail goes around the lake or you an take it by foot for a 20 minute hike. On my visit I saw someone exercising their horse. The path is nicely shaded by tall Australian Pine trees. There were a lot of ducks by the parking area because someone dumps feed for them. On my visit I also saw squirrels, ibis, lizards, and common moor hens swimming. You can fish here as well as boat if the boat does not have a motor.This is a peaceful passive park mainly used by people exercising their dogs and horses. It is very similar to the nearby Silver Lakes Rotary Park. As the sign cautions you on the fence before entering, be respectful of the wildlife around you and you wont have any problem. As this is an open body of fresh water you must be mindful of alligators and snakes.

Lovely lake surrounded by walking trails. Wear comfortable shoes. Fishing, picnic pavilion, concession stand. Feels like a forest with tall pines trees, and wild flowers.

Hailing from Savannah, GA...This place takes me back home. The views here are peaceful and enjoyable with a 2 or 4 legged friend.

This park is a lake surrounded by a dirt path. The path is sandy where it is not coated with the bristles of the abundant Australian pine trees.It is generally quiet but with occasional dogs with owners, fishermen and people on horses.Theres a bathroom and a small pavilion. And thats pretty much it. Check the City of Davie website for opening and closing times because it varies by time of year.

Medium sized park with a phenomenal view.

It was very peaceful and relaxing walking through this park. I got some great pictures of some birds and some interesting looking lizards. Also great shots of the lake and trees. I recommend this park to anyone who is looking for a quick stroll of some decent nature pictures. Be aware, they are unpaved trails only.

A FOREST INSIDE THE CITY, WHERE YOU CAN WALK YOUR DOG THRU TRAILS ALONG THE BANKS OF A FRESH WATER LAKE, RIDE YOUR HORSE BENEATH THE CENTURIES OLD TREES, YOU CAN PICK NIC WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, HOST A BIRTHDAY PARTY, AS WELL AS JOG,WALK, AND WORK OUT WHILE CATCHING A GLIMPSE OF A RED FOX, NESTING DUCKS, RACCOONS WITH THEIR YOUNG, OR MAKE A DAY OF FISHING WITH YOUR CHILDREN. THE SAFEST PARK I HAVE BEEN TO WITH A FORESTRY RANGER AND A LOCAL POLICE OFFICER LIVING ON SITE WITHIN THE PARK. THE PERFECT PLACE TO LIE ON A BLANKET AND ESCAPE THE CHAOTIC LIFE OF THE BIG CITY. A GREAT PLACE TO UNWIND AND MEDITATE AS WELL. BEST PART....FREE! I PROMISE ONCE VISITED YOU WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Very unique park for South Florida. Considering how ugly South Florida is this is a very beautiful

Its rare to find a forest of pine trees in the middle of Florida suburbia, but here it is. Its technically an equestrian trail, so youll have to be watchful for piles of horse poo, but that doesnt bother me. It also seems to be the local Cool Teen Hangout where you can angst behind a bush with your friends - I bumbled into a few rings of surly teens during my wandering. Still, its a lovely little park. The trail is probably a mile and a half around and if you walk lazily, itll take you roughly half an hour. Beware though, a woman *did* get eaten by an alligator at a park near here a while ago. I just keep a respectful distance from the waters edge.

Used to love this place, before it became popular with the heathens. lol. Unfortunately now its over crowded by- teens who want to smoke reefer and think they are inconspicuous in the wooded areas.- stoners who think they are also inconspicuous who hot box in their cars.- people who think its cool to tag/ graffiti the trees, and everything else.- people who arent even enjoying the park outside the parking lot, just hanging out in their cars, blasting terrible music, hoping people will think they are edgy/ cool.- dog owners who think its cool that Buster the pit bull runs loose near kids and small dogs.
