There are two fenced areas for dogs: one for small dogs and one for large. There are a lot of trees in the large dog area. I prefer the smaller dog area, but there isnt as much shade on that side. There is a short walking path around the large dog area, plenty of parking, and convenient access to the park off of Keller Springs.

This is a great dog park! Lots of trees. A separate area for small and large dogs. A short paved trail on one side. Dog owners are so good to have bowls of water out close to where the dogs like to hang out (on the large dog side - I havent been on the small dog side.) A good, clean place to let your dog off the leash for a good romp.

Two gated areas, one for small breeds, one for large. Lots of space in both. Small cement trail around the park and a lovely view of a waterfall. It looks like the water fountain in the small breeds park is shut off.

Overall a good experience. The play areas are split by dog weight. The large breed zone had a sizable area for the dogs to run and play. However, there are certainly some owners that leave their dogs mess behind so watch your step! Outside the play area there are a few short walking trails.CAUTION for parents of small children. There is a segment overlooking the White Rock Creek that is NOT protected by a fence. There is only about 12 feet between the sidewalk and what would be a 30 foot drop onto boulders. This could easily be the death of your toddler if you turn your back on them. The city really needs to finish the fence in this area.

We have been here twice with both of my dogs and we had a blast! Very spacious separate areas for smaller and larger dogs to play that also have water fountains for humans and furry friends. Small walking trails and an observation area that overlooks a damn/creek. Everyone we have met has been friendly and all dogs have been well behaved. Awesome spot! So happy this is so close by where we live.

This is a very nice and quiet doggie park that caters to both small and large dogs. I have a 20 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he fits in perfect with all of the other different wonderful breeds of dogs that the different owners take to this park and you dont have to worry about weirdos or mean people being around all of the times that I have gone Ive encountered very nice and loving animal activist there who are just like me. And theres bowls of water available for our little babies plus they have lawn chairs set up now and the park in different areas so that you can sit in the shade while your baby plays.

Small park with wooded, enclosed areas, fairly private feeling and pretty. It has separate small and large dog areas. It is mostly dirt, and has heavy enough use that there is some odor but its very manageable - just if you were picturing green grass fields youll be disappointed.Important - its open until late in the night, but there is absolutely NO lighting and the park is more or less abandoned as soon as the sun goes down.

Im a professional Dog Walker so Ive been to all the dog parks in Plano (I think). Wagging Tails is nice, lots of different terrain in the big dog park, lots of room to play chase and fetch. My one hang up: only one water fountain. As with all dog parks, the people seem nice, but the doggos are better! (Its especially important that the ppl stay with their furry friends who might be feeling anxious or stressed out if its their first time at a dog park- just saying).

My dogs and I enjoyed running and playing in the park. There were plenty of benches to sit on and lots of parking. The park was tidy except for a couple plastic bags of trash on the ground around the parking area. The walking trail was a bit overgrown likely due to the rain we have had lately. Great place! My Sheldon loves it there. I like that there is a small dog park and a large one. Although I will tell you no one follows the weight limit or minimums. Example: we went yesterday and there were little dogs in the large park. The large park has a minimum weight of 30 lbs or more. Sheldon is right at 30 lbs so he can go to either area. I judge it based on the dogs I see in both parks. Im not going to put him in the little park with a bunch of little dogs he could crush. We will go to the big park if there are none his size in the little park. The city turns the water off from December to March or so I have been told by other dog owners so you do have to bring your own water for your dog which easily becomes the community dog water. I personally do not care but a woman yesterday made the comment of how do I know the other dogs dont have diseases? Now granted she is correct however I would hope everyone who is bringing their dogs has had them vaccinated. To each his own on that one. Also our only other bad experience happened yesterday. A young man brought his two dogs. One was friendly and wanted to play but the other was not happy to be there I guess. He barked and attacked several dogs. The owner kept pulling his dog off of the other dogs. And then his dog attacked and bit Sheldon! Thankfully he didnt break skin. He only scared him. The man didnt seem too concerned. Just said sorry. Other people seemed to be just as upset as I was. I think the guy got the message because he left shortly after that. I felt bad for him. He was trying to get the dog to learn to socialize he said but he hasnt had any luck. He thought maybe a park would help. Im not sure what kind of dog the man had. It looked like a Shepherd mix of some sort to me.There was a review I read that said this place is full of snotty people who live in the area. The regulars she said. She said she could tell she wasnt welcome the second she walked in because she wasnt a regular. I have not found that to be the case. I have found everyone I have met to be pleasant. All we do is talk about our dogs.Anyway overall Sheldon is happy there. He can run, jump and play for hours if I let him. We will keep going back for sure.

A very nice park! The place is really large and provides 2 separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. The 1st containment area is also very large to accommodate multiple dogs and people to transition in or out. There is a water fountain available and plenty of shade from all the small trees. They did have poop bag stations but unfortunately a lot of owners dont use them because it was a mine field! It seems theres a trail in the back of the park but I didnt explore it on my trip. All in all it was a nice visit for my pooch to socialize.

I do not care for this park at all. The owners of dogs are more interested in their cell phones than their dogs. The large dog park is divided in half by trees and greatly reduces the usable area. The dogs tend to crowd in into a structure that the owners use to talk to one another and that leads to misbehaving dogs and a difficult barrier for owners trying to get to their dog if there is a problem. There is very little grass in the dog area, the surrounding area is filled with heavy brush and many potential hazards for dogs (such as a very dangerous waterfall) It also seems to be a magnet for problem dogs whos owners dont recognize a problem. The only water source in the large dog park is far from where dogs congregate and people end up bringing in and using water bowls that can spread deceases among the dogs. In places the fence is way too low and with the aid of a ledge I have seen dogs jump the fence which is only a few yards away from heavy traffic. The two dog areas are for large and for small dogs. and they are not close to one another. If you have two dogs one under 30lbs and one over 30lbs. the posted rules say you can not bring them in together.

Great place to bring your four legged kids big or small and have them run or you play fetch with them. I like the fact that there are two parks for either big or small dogs, parking is small due to the location and size. below is why I gave it 4 instead of five stars but this is one of our favorite places to come aside to two other dog parks in town we go to.**only issue that I have is a guy he always comes on weekends at times early mid mornings always has those bulky wireless headphones, a monster energy drink and one of those e-cigarettes and vapes. he brings his dog which is allowed to do like every one of us are, its just he has issues with people either when his dog goes to another dog to meet each other or near people to pet him its not his only time he has overreacted its been quite a few times but once he does he tends to leave in a hurry instead of talking it out and he will not want to hear you out. example my 1year old and our dog were all playing with a group of dogs his dog came and they all started to bark and jump he came running screaming to get away from his dog I had my hand in between all the dogs he yelled I was explaining and he mumbled something grabbed his dog on his leash and left in a hurry me and a few people were just in awe like what was that about anyhow its a long story aside from that everyone that goes there are nice talkative and we let the dogs just enjoy themselves**
