Great park over all... its truly a gem with some wonderful areas. However, trying to have a picnic here was a disaster though. The squirrels have learned to aggressively expect food from humans They were about 4-6 of them on our table, bench, and under our feet as we tried to eat. They wouldve eaten from our plates while we were eating, had we let them. Their persistence was enough that we packed up in attempt to not engage with them.

Excellent neighborhood park! Reverchon is my go-to, whether I’m heading to the Katy Trail for a run, taking my dog out for some rec time, or going for a long walk around the park. It’s always clean, and the grounds are well-maintained. They could use some better lighting at night in some areas, but overall it’s pretty safe and active.

Really liked this park as it was full of people taking in the rays of the day. Lots of space for activites, really dog friendly, and losts of space for walking and running. This park is also nice for meditation and yoga as it is quiet and secluded enough to allow you to do so. Will be back as I did not have enough time to stop and enjoy the day there.

Wonderful park with lots of activity. There is only one major problem....The City of Dallas expects residents to keep their dogs on a leash. They have not made a single effort to enclose part of it to make an off leash dog park. In such a dog friendly city it doesnt really show when it comes to Reverchon. They also dont have any lights on in the evening when it gets dark around 7 or 8 there are only a few lights out and thats so dangerous for anyone caught out late. I wish Dallas would take the time to realize how much potential the park has.

I put a more detailed review on the recreation center, but this amazing park is directly connected to the center so it works! You can use the trails to get to downtown, and Katy trail as well. Its actually a historic area coming from the works progress administration, and interesting even for ones who are not into history much. Theres a play area for children closer to the recreation center, running trails, biking tails also.

I love this park Reverchon Park and I enjoy my time there every time. It is connected to the Katy Trails with steps within the forest, which make for a great walking trail on Sundays. It is also near Turtle Creek and it is a very big area overall even though it is inside the city of Dallas. Sometimes we go there for a picnic after a good walk along the trails.

My wife and I were at the Turtle Creek Fall Art Festival on Sunday, October the 6th. The art and crafts had different styles of acrylic paintings from painters from Texas and also from Africa too. There were crafts of glass, wood, jewelry, pewter and pottery. They also had photographs from around the world and drawings of animals done with carbon pencil. Also solid rock figurines of animals from Africa. Dog collars hand- made too. Three mobile food trucks one serving Greek food, the other lobster food and the other ice cream. We had a veggie pita and a gyro hamburger and boy the both were delicious. The art festival was very beautiful.

My 18-month old daughter has never had so much fun at a single playground! (Shes a climber!) We had to pry her away to go eat lunch and she is generally bored after 20 minutes. The climbing apparati are quite varied, lots of different slides and two age grouped playgrounds. The real bonus is that its 100% canopied so in 100+ degree Texas weather, your baby can safely play!

Beauty, comfort and great visuals make this a common stop on my runs. Kids park is very lively on the weekend. The people are active and social, makes for a great walk and talk. Dogs are usually running free and fetching their sticks, so dog lovers are will enjoy themselves. Water is also available for the furry creatures. When the weather is good, and it usually is in Dallas, this place is a superb option for the vagabond individual, couple or family. Get out there and soak up the sun!
