It was a pleasure to visit the plaza. Years have past, yet you can still feel that tragic day as you look around. There were many freelance tour guides offering services. There is a deep feeling that is hard to explain but when you visit you will experience it. Please visit this wonderful location.

Definitely takes you back to your history class. We decided to stop and visit because we are big JFK history lovers and have lived through that part of history. It mixes up all kinds of emotions, just standing there taking it all in. We brought our 15 year old son with us so he could understand an American tragedy. He was moved. He talked me into buying merchandise from a man selling books about JFK. It is worth the trip. To educate yourself and future generations.

It’s a place that everyone should visit, such an important part of not only American history but world history. There is parking near by and it’s so different to see the plaza in person. The only down side was there was a lot of people trying to hustle and take your money.

One of the few historical places where you can walk freely and through history. On the grassy knoll and to points of interest and perspective. The museum has a fee and restrictions. Not the plaza. Plenty of signage to explain where you are at and points of significance. Weekends are more crowded and there are a variety of people who have theories on what happened. Books, DVDs, videos, pictures and jump-drives with data, all for sale. These are interesting people to talk to. If you like American/World history, this is a must stop. You can spend 5 minutes or 5 hours here and walk away with a little bit of Wow! Other historical sites close by as well.

Went to Dallas in 2012, and spent a few days down in Dealey Plaza since it was in walking distance of the hotel where my wifes conference was. It was amazing to see the plaza that pretty much has not changed that much since 1963. There were visitors all around the plaza we were there and we also went on a few tours that talked about the faithful day in November 1963. We have a full review of this location on our blog site and YouTube Channel.

Lots of information. The 2 xs are in the road on a busy street. BE CAREFUL. There are men selling magazines and newspapers which is more informative than the museum. Oh and 1 guy selling the news cast from that day. Take cash cause it is expensive to buy that info. But worth it if you are interested.

Pretty interesting place. I appreciate the little plaques scattered around to supplement visitors prior knowledge on everything that happened. Theres a guy selling information on the assassination as a souvenir to anyone whos curious enough to look around. I think each one is $5. I dont like that the fountains pools are dirty, with leaves floating on the surface and trash piled up in corners. Someone needs to keep that clean, its part of history.

Cool place to go visit and walk around quietly observing the area and memorials. Nice tours are offered as long as you go through a real tour agency, not one of the random people milling around through Dealey Plaza. Often times the place of the exact assassination are marked with an x on the street in front of the sixth floor museum.

This whole plaza is a nice place to visit if you’re ever in Dallas and a important one to history too, where sadly, John Fitzgerald Kennedy , The 35th President, was Assassinated. The plaza has many meaningful monuments and green spaces. One thing that was neat was the 2 X’s on the street to show where the 2 shots hit the President in JFK’s vehicle. It is remarkable to see how the place remains the same since 1963. The tragedy still resonates strongly even though it was more than 50 years ago.

It was kind of neat to say that I had been there, but the site was borderline disappointing. Limited markers at key points of interest - though info stations are less strategically located near the parking lot, random strangers allowed to sell peculiar maps and provide their version of history/facts, and a random piece of tape in the road (x marks the spot) where the whole thing went down. Just not what I was expecting.

Really interesting to be at the location in person. Did not do the museum tour but walked all around the site. Met several conspiracy theorists who provided very interesting information. In fact, one gentleman walked me to several locations around the site and pointed out what he indicated were missed shots on the concrete, sidewalk and curb. Also pointed out the area behind the grassy knoll where a wood picket fence is located and marked at certain locations of the pickets with red paint, purportedly where 2 other gunman were located and fired on JFK. In all the guy reported & alleged that there were a total of 9 shots fired by no less than 4 shooters. Claimed 2 shooters were at the fence behind the grassy knoll, 1 in the sewer next to the location of the fatal shot in addition to Oswald. Not sure if i believe that, but interesting conspiracy theory nonetheless. Stood on the exact location/site where Abraham Zapruder filmed the assassination of JFK. The X in the street noting the location of the fatal shot is pretty eerie. Also the box in the window of the 6th floor of the school book depository which shows where Lee Harvey Oswald fired his rifle from is moving, especially when viewed from the street. What I found most interesting of all is how much the site seems to not havechanged since 1963. If youve seen the archived footage over the many years of various documentaries, it really looks like you would imagine if you have never been there.

Very surreal place. Pretty big history person so being here was pretty awesome for me. Do think president John F Kennedys Memorial should have been closer to Daley Plaza where he was actually shot. Didnt have time to do the museum, but I bet it was pretty good. I did think it was kind of disrespectful for people to stand on the xs in the street where Kennedy was shot and take pictures.
