Quaint and quiet park. Walking trails, playground for kids, several covered picnic tables. Sand volleyball courts(no nets right now), fenced in horseshoe pits. Lots of open space to play, trees to settle under and plenty of parking. There is also a skate park just at the entry of the park. This is also right before Dead Horse park where you can camp/rent a cabin and trail walk( entry fee for that park). Fun little space to spend some time!

Great disc golf course. One of my favorites that I have played on (Im from Pennsylvania). Beautiful views but sometimes the baskets are hard to find. My wife nailed her first birdie from 138ft so that was memorable.

This park is carefully tended by the keepers its beautiful. There are wonderful trails that go down to the river and a really nice frisbee course. Its next to a riparian area with huge cottonwood and sycamore trees. Take your lunch and enjoy many beautiful birds there.

Lovely, small local park. Nice large shade trees if the three covered picnic tables are occupied. Lots of open grassy areas for play.

Could not find restrooms. Open during COVID-19 closures. Was curious about location of restrooms because I really needed to pee. is Coronavirus thing has made it harder to go to restrooms in public. overall well manicured lawns and very clean facilities ones found, if found. Nice park.

Fantastic park for kids and parents alike. Open green spaces, jungle gyms for toddlers and bigger kids, plenty of swings, plus benches and places to grill. There are also nice walks here and facilities for a variety of sports.

It was a pleasant experience. We all enjoyed it!!

We used to love this place had a good time kids loved it to now you cant get to the river anymore because of the disc golfers just try walking sometime and getting hit in the head just a small Park in a small town. great baseball sports and everything for the sports enthusiasts including a really cool skate park but as far as little kids running around and families having picnics to tiny now.

Good disc golf course, some trees. Terrain wasnt too rocky. Course starts by a pine tree behind the hockey rink. Didnt have time to play the whole course, ended at hole #10, which was close to where we parked. Everyone had fun.

Its the best park in the Cottonwood/Camp Verde area so far. Weve been there when its crowded and when we were the only people there. It has sports, hiking, frisbee golf, a playground, a skate park. Its a fun place to hang out with the family.

Love this ️ park with its many picnic tables. It could use more grills but that is a small concern considering all there or is to do. Disc golf, playground swings, horse shoes. Great family place with excellent WiFi. Enjoy!

Fun place. Great for concert venues like the Thunder Valley rally. Hiking trails, disc golf, skate park and ball fields. Its a rather small park, but its green and its near the Verde river.

Clean picnic tables, two age level play grounds, disc golf nearby, clean bathrooms, pokestops and gym, fallen trees for catching lizards, swings, sand volleyball courts (no nets), and large grassy areas. We loved it.

Its a really challenging frisbee golf course. Narrow fairways between towering cottonwoods. Really fun.

Park is clean, large enough to play sports with a big group, beautiful for a picnic, great for kids and adults. Theres a place to walk down to the creek and plenty of tables to take a lunch to.

Great place for a picnic in the park! The only problem that we had that day were the amount of flies! It had rained pretty hard the day before and, there was standing water in places around the park and playground ares. Still enjoyed it!

ThunderValley Rally was at this park. It was a great venue for the bands and rally. Lots of space for camping and partying.

Was great went to the Thunder Valley Rally to see 38 Special. Going back tomorrow to see White Snake.

Riverfront park is a great place to take the family. They are dog friendly and have a dog park as well. We went today, Easter, and had a blast add the kids were on the hunt for candy and prizes.

Sweet spot for family fun with skate park, swings or a picnic. Fridays at 5 is free picnic.

Great areas for sports, family activities and easy hike.

This is a nice place. Theres a big play area for kids and picnic tables. The frisbee golf course is a good place to walk your dog - just look out for flying saucers!

This park is well maintained. Lots of picknic tables and cooking areas. There are many trees provide lush shade and grass is plush and green.

Kids loved the slides, swings, and play areas. Grills available for BBQ

What a great place for our children to play, many cities are not as fortunate, thank you taxpayers.

I was here one windy day and the cotton flurries were so enchanting! Short walk to the river. My favorite park Ive ever been to to date.

Nicely distributed event for the rally. I hope the people of cottonwood can continue to support such an event. Blue Oyster Cult rocked the stage!

Great park for all the family, including dog park within the complex. All sports including skatepark. Plenty of parking. Places for a nice stroll. Picnic area near playground for the younger kids. Plus its free. Just down the road is Dead Horse State Park (fee) with wonderful lagoons for fishing or just hanging out. Also has grills, ramadas, and overnight camping. The whole area is not to be missed.

I took my son to the skate park, the skate park is pretty sweet, but I cant help but feel like they ran out of funding before they had a chance to put something cool in the center.

Be nice to the homeless cuz, your 1 step away from them! Jugde not! Or you shall be judged! Dont lol.

The park is nice with all the greenery around and the river near by but it could use some improvements. The older kids play gym should have a big sun shade the sun hits it most of the day. Also, a lot of scum people hang around there.

Love this park. Has a disc golf course. A lot of fun. I come here at least once per week. On occasion it can get overgrown but the city will brushhog the whole course a few times per year. On the green belt of the Verde river. Theres also volley ball, horse shoes, play ground, 8 baseball fields, skate park.
