A wonderful look back at the history of the area. The artifacts were great and they did a great job on the train room. The volunteers were extremely knowledgeable and eager to teach us about the area and answer questions we had. A must visit if youre in the Cottonwood or surrounding towns!

Good fun and a great way to learn the history of the surrounding area. Rich with knowledge of the towns around here, friendly staff. They even gave a to scale working train model of the area that is fully detailed with all thats around here. Not much time is needed to see everything at the museum. Theres also a classroom with everything of the time back in the day to walk around and get a nostalgic feel for what it was like back then.

I visited the museum some years ago and recall how charming it is. I think it is very important in State history because of the issues of CLEMENCY and the progress of the resolution of the halting of the mining industry in the area. As I think everyone was looking for a missing child, I believe named Clementine, but no foul play was suspected, it has practically gone around the world. I think someday theyll get old Clementine to school by this museum. And Helen Killebrew is a really charming lady.
