I was born and raised in Columbus Ga since 92. Kadie has been grazing that spot my entire life and long before me. When I was a teenager she had a baby calf appear one night, and just as magically as it appeared, it mysteriously disappeared in the middle of the night. Such an udder shock. But hopefully the calf will be steered back home some day!!She is the best landmark around here for sure. If you REALLY like cows, then its worth the trip. Or if you live in Columbus and surrounding area, its a easy to get to leisure activity. Just dont try to steal her or degrade her!! The town will have a cow!! Rightfully so.Shes a part of our towns history.

If you are in the area it is pretty neat and free so... In an abandoned Best Buy parking lot that to not the easiest to find.

I heard there was a giant cow here but this was so much cooler than I could have ever imagined!! A life changing experience.

An interesting find.....next to Best Buy. Have no clue of her history and how she found her way here. Great photo op for an abs cure background! Kids would love this attraction.Ladies could use a paint job :)

Kadie the Cow is a treasure for the locals. Kadie sits where Kennett Dairy was located. This was one of our favorite places to take field trips to in Elementary school. We would tour the plant and right before we left we would each get ice cream. Before loading back on the bus the entire group would gather in front & around Kadie for a picture for the yearbook. I love seeing Kadie the cow. A little history for those who are curious.. at one point Kadie was actually stolen and returned in the middle of the night without anyone ever catching who did it. I believe she was missing for a few months (not sure exactly how long). I remember taking a tour of the dairy processing plant that used to be where Best buy is when I was in school. Always good to see her.

Were fans of finding the roadside attractions, and while its not anything fancy, we got a kick out of finding Kadie.

Kadie is a local landmark. Im 57 and shes been up on the hill since I can remember. She was initally there when Kinnetts Dairy was located in the old Best Buy spot. There was talk for a couple of years, of moving her (her baby calf was stolen a few years back and hasnt been seen since), but locals let the politicians know how they felt about moving Kadie, and for once, the politicians and officials listened. Kadie is an icon.

Why is this a landmark? Nothing special about this eye sore in a random parking lot.

At the end of the day it is just a cow statue. It sits.in front of the Best Buy in Columbus. Right before you get on the on ramp to I185. It is a bit confusing to get around to the actual statue. I wouldnt say it is a must see/ need to drive out of my way and get a picture with ordeal; but if you happen to need something from best buy walk over and see it.

Seen a lot of giant cows in my day.......but damn.....this tops em all. Even beats the sizzler steak house cow! !

Not that easy to get to, next to a Best Buy. I seen bigger ones that have more character. Not sure why is supposed to be an attractions.
