I loved visiting LegoLand with my students! I actually visited with a child who used a wheelchair and it was completely accessible. She was able to ride all of the rides and every activity had more than enough space for her to participate and move around freely. The elevators and ramps were wide enough for her wheelchair. The only suggestion would be to the birthday party room- there is not a lot of space in there if you have groups larger than 10-15 people and there is not much space to move around.

If you’re looking for something to do for the kids this place is okay but really isn’t worth the money. The staff gave the impression of being inconvenienced when we approached. The attractions were minimal but were...One roller coaster 2mph - one movie theatre 4d (15 min video), a rotating Merlin ride which was closed, a caged fun area, and random LEGO sections for free build. Let’s not forget the most expensive part the food court! $8 for a kid meal. You can walk through the mini city and press buttons but it’s more of a museum like atmosphere. It captures the adults attention due to the sheer detail of this little city. The age range for the little city exceeds the 3-10 year old attention after about 2 min.The prices are through the roof for what you get. Paying extra to get the Lanier wasn’t worth it. Don’t waste the money - but if you’re coming here you want to spend lots, the whole idea behind the LEGO motto.

At LEGOLAND Discovery Columbus, grownups and children alike will find this to be a LEGO dream. From seeing how they are made to play stations and displays that truly capture Ohio in LEGOs to the ridiculously tall playground area (that I wish I could have played in!)... there is so much to explore. Our 5 and 7 year old children were busy for most of the day (10am til about 2pm). Great for a few hours of fun!

The best part was the 4D movie. The boys loved it. I think the price was a little high for what you do. You pay the same to go to Kings island. Do yourself a favor and find coupons. My little one was excited bc hes obsessed with Legos. I should get stock Ill say that. But it was only 1.5 hrs for $25 a piece. I feel like adults should be cheaper considering were there to supervise our children. I figure thats why theres a coupon pay for an adult get one child free. Otherwise take them to the one in Florida if you want the rides.

This very small version of legoland theme park I would say 1/10 of the bigger park. As it’s intended for small audiences who are Lego fans and have half day outings. They tried to accommodate all the aspect of big parks in a small way - park has rides, Lego creation, 4D theater, duplo park, cafe, Columbus downtown. It’s very good for 4+ age to upto 12 who loves to do legos. It’s good for half day outing and price is also decent. If you take year pass then it’s good only if you love LEGO’s otherswise it will be boring as it’s small.

4D cinema was the best part of the trip but we were only able to catch one of them. The shows are every 30 minutes with different movies showing, so if you want to do other things you have to pick which movie and time you will go. One ride and the play set was shut down, nothing on the website about that or told to us when we arrived, would have been nice to know. Plenty of areas for the kids to play with their Legos and a nice race area to race cars you build. Went to the store after and the Legos were decently priced. We bought two of the smaller sets for our 4 and 5 year old. The entrance is inside the mall so take that into consideration when timing your trip.

Being a lifetime LEGO fan and now having a child of my own to share the fun with we were really excited to hear a Discovery Center was coming to Columbus. We bought annual passes because it pretty much pays for itself after 2-3 visits. We’ve been a handful of times since the September opening. As expected, the weekends are pretty busy so I would suggest getting a ticket close to opening time. The front of the house/store staff couldn’t care less about you being there. **One thing to be aware of is that LEGOLAND Discovery Centers are not owned or operated by LEGO. They are ran by Merlin Entertainments, therefore, if you are a LEGO VIP member you will not receive any points or be able to use rewards in the shop. I would go to actual LEGO store outside by Jeni’s Ice Cream to purchase any sets. Plus, the staff is much friendlier and helpful.**

Its not a bad place to go but Im not sure I agree that its worth $24. You have to really enjoy playing with Legos to have fun. Legoland is unique, and obviously in a class of its own. My family and I spend an afternoon here on a small trip to Columbus, and we liked it..but didnt love it. As everything in the current times - its way overpriced. Im not just trying to be conservative about money, but for my family at the time that we went (2 adults, 4 year-old, 3 year-old, 2 year-old, and a 5 month-old) it was $120-ish. Thats a bit much. Granted, its a unique experience, but with a couple thousand people going there just for a week theyve more than paid for the entire cost of the attraction. So, price is way too high. Experience and variety of ideas was great. Theres many things to do at varying levels of age. The time it takes to get through everything is also not worth the price. True, you could really stretch it out, but theres only so much attention to spend on one thing. Overall, we liked it, but probably wouldnt return very often due to price.

Loved Legoland, did not love the employees. I felt like 90% of them acted put out to answer a question that was asked. Only 2 of them seemed like they actually enjoyed their job, the rest were all annoyed to be there. Our scheduled time was their 10 oclock opening...while we arrived 15 minutes early as instructed and waited to get in, the employees all stood around talking while there was visible dirt and Legos on the floor of the gift shop that needed to be swept up. I come from the philosophy: if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. That apparently doesnt apply to this company. The real life city was neat...especially the house from A Christmas Story. The boys got to take a master build class where someone showed you how to make a viking ship using a document camera, it was easy to follow along while watching the screen. Just wish the employees were a little more happy and bubbly instead of annoyed and angry.

HIT OR MISS.As a mother of 2 I was super excited about this place. There’s a lot of things to do for kids of all ages; which makes it amazing for me.The staff is hot or cold, no in between. You either get AMAZING employees like Michael and Jenna or terrible ones that I don’t have names for.The rides are also hit or miss, they may or may not be working on your visit or they may be shut down due to staffing.I have been okay not leaving reviews until I recently became irritated when I was denied entry after 5 o’clock on a Thursday. I know, the website says last admission at 5. My 2 y.o. Was crying, kicking, screaming. I practically begged just to be let inside the waiting area by the bathroom so he can see and was given a hard no. I wrote into them online to ask them to consider opening after 5 for working families and I was told annual pass holders can enter until closing. I want to feel relieved, but I’m feeling more angry that all this time we have been denied entry after 5. I will say Jenna definitely addresses my concerns and tried to make it right, but the damage is done. There’s a lot of opportunity to train the staff to make this an enjoyable experience worth the money. We won’t be renewing our passes.Pros:•2 fun rides•workshop•jungle gym•4D movies•MichaelCons:•Can get crowded (to be expected)•Parents don’t always supervise their children (especially in the car racing area and jungle gym)•Expect a ride or 2 to not work•Not Michael

Legoland at Easton seems to be ran by teenagers who truly do not care to enhance the experience of the children who come to play. They barely engaged with myself and children as we enters the rides and seemed to be caught up in their own discussions. At one point, I went to ask an employee a question, and I was ignored. He then left, so I am assuming his shift had ended but he had to finish a conversation with his fellow colleagues. The 2 stars were given for how large legoland is and all the fun and creativity there is hidden inside.I will say, I am not sure how often the facility is cleaned. It seemed rather messy and had a not so pleasant smell in some areas. I am aware of it being a play area for children and all the wonderful germs that come along, but other child attractions we have been to seem to be more proactive with cleanliness. My children caught a nasty stomach bug shortly after playing at legoland. It was not food poisoning, and I can’t imagine where else they would have caught it.I was hoping for a more pleasant experience and to make it a weekly event.

The 4D movie experience (you can see 3 different movies throughout the day - about 15 minutes each) was pretty cool. My only complaint is about the car racing area. Youre supposed to build your own car and race it down different inclines. There were just not enough wheels/tires/axles provided for the amount of children there. Adults were scouring the area just to find 4 matching wheels for their kids cars. They should really provide a LOT more car-specific parts in this area.
