You cannot beat the price especially compared to other theaters. It was only $9 bucks for the 2 of us ( Matinee Angry Birds 2 ) . The theater is super clean and the seats recline electronically. I liked the size of each theater. Much smaller than ones like AMC but I think it is better smaller. It gives you more of a personal experience, less commercial. But my most favorite thing about this theater was its character. The lobby, it really is in my opinion was beautiful. The ceilings, lighting and concession stand had a vintage feel to it but without the vintage smell. The carpets are super clean and the staff was friendly. We didnt need to use the restroom so I cant testify how clean they were but all in all my daughter loved it and this was her first theater experience ( she is 4 ). She wanted to stay and watch another movie. The only question I had was when was this building built? More, when was the interior design done? Just curious. Anyway thank you for the great experience, we will be coming back.

This is a very nice budget friendly theatre. Where can you go to the movies and get a popcorn for under $10? They have the new state of the art reclining chairs as well which are super comfy. There is no room for complaints by me, other than the popcorn being salty. Lol

Poor conditions on streets and grounds. Looks nice at office. No grass in green areas. Sprinklers shut off. Just dirt no grass. Dirts and sand in street gutters. Cause: All green areas grass dead. Sand lands in street gutters. No street clean ups. No plowing of snow.

Locally owned!Best theater in town for people in wheelchairs to see first run movies, FROM THE BACK! Also, people with challenges physically have the back row saved! Wheelchair seats and accompanying customers do not have to sit in the front and feel like they have Whiplash from the screen being so close that you are trying to get your head further and further back so that you can see well!At the other theaters they might have two or three individual auditoriums with an elevator to allow people in wheelchairs to sit somewhere that is not so close to the screen that they can see it from straight on and from the side - but this theater has multiple seats in each Auditorium in the back for people in wheelchairs and its significantly less expensive than other places that have both stadium seating and recliners - this theater does only have recliners but with how far apart they are - the stadium seating does not factor in into a seat assignment decision at least not for my family. All of my pictures are of the handicapped and accompanying seats or either people that are handicapped or accompanying those in wheelchairs and I included one that lets you see the safety bars so the wheelchair does not go down because it is not Stadium seated so it still has the old slope that its always had - but one of my pictures thats you see the screen from the wheelchair seating on the right and from the wheelchair seating on the left and I did not bother to label them because its going to be a little bit different depending on which Auditorium youre in but theyre actually good seats in my opinion and they have seats reserved for people that cant walk the distance but still need to sit further back which is what makes something like Tinseltown difficult or people that are not in a wheelchair but still have movement difficulties plus Vision difficulties that dont allow them to sit really close to the screen.

The theater is in a convenient location. Theater number eight was nice. The movie was shown on a good screen and the sound was very good. I found the theater a little too warm. I did not hear any air handling units during the show. I wonder about the air filtration activity. There was a few people in the theater that sat all together and were not wearing masks. I hope that the theater staff could reinforce the need to distance and to please wear their masks. I do not want your fine theater to close again. The staff was nice and very helpful. I will be back.

We really like the updated decor, updated food options and the great prices compared to the other big name theaters around. There is a food option available for most everyone. We like to take our younger kid here for special nights in case he cant sit still, you arent out $30 in the tickets alone.My only complaint is the HVAC fans that kick on during the movies. It can be so loud, you cant hear well in quiet parts of a movie. I dont know if that is the same in every theater though.

Always seem to have nice, friendly staff when I visit. Willing to assist with most anything. Seem to be doing a great job with cleaning and maintaining covid set expectations.

The Picture Show at the Citadel Crossing has curbside popcorn pickup! You must go to the website pictureshowent.com and order your XL popcorn bag for only $ 7.95! with butter and salt. You can get other concession food if you want. So you go to the website and order your popcorn and go to the Citadel Crossing to pickup your popcorn. I ordered the popcorn on site and it was quick enough. I already heated the butter and poured it on the popcorn and had some. It was good. So I recommend it.

I love this budget theatre :) You can get a showing for 2 for less than $10. That is amazing.

Great experience!! The price is amazing. We saved $15 and we watched the same movie we were going to see at another theater. The staff is sweet and helpful. Chair are so comfy since the remodel. This is our new theater for sure. We usually go to the movies 1-2 times a week. Please come support them.

Great show for a good price. Sure it’s not .50 but it’s a newer movie! They did redo the inside and put new seats in which makes it a lot nicer then how it was. Confession stand is normal snacks for the same high price as everywhere else. I personally think it’s better now then it was. My family will be back.

Far better deal than other movie theaters in town. The seats are comfortable- they recline almost to flat. Good amount of movie showings for popular movies so the theater wasn’t overly crowded. The snacks are a bit pricey. Overall a very fun good theater experience for the family.

This place used to be super dirty and showed the oldest movies. Wow was I surprised when I went to see Frozen 2! The theater seating is so comfortable and the whole place was so clean and welcoming. You cant beat the price of tickets either! I will definitely be going back soon!

The cost of admission is a great deal. Happy that they had redone the seating in all the theaters to the recliners. Also they are more current with the shows. Only grip is the cost of drinks and food can be more then admission.

They have comfy reclining seats, I love the old fashioned look this theatre has. Im from Michigan the prices of the theatre near me with reclining comfy seats is double the price. I was in Colorado to meet my Boyfriend, it was a fun first date.

Remodel was done well. Use to go there before. Looks similar to before but with fresh makeover. Recliner seating and 2 Coca-Cola Freestyle touch screen soda fountain machines. Friendly staff and good prices.

This theater has been around forever!! My kids really loved it and the prices for the tickets and food were awesome. It was a nice little get out for us...i do miss how it used to be long ago though with all of the strip lights along the floors and walls.

Picture Show has always been the best value for movies in the Springs. Even now, with their recent changes and price increases, theyre still the least expensive way to see a movie. As a bonus, their recent changes are comfy reclining chairs and Coke Freestyle machines for drinks. The facility itself could still use some additional love, but its not dirty or run down. Still a great value and a great night out!

Havent been here in years but the new upgrades are amazing. Seats are a huge improvement over the old ones, not only more comfortable, but bigger, and they recline. Also much cleaner than before, with the prices being better than other theaters, I will be going back again as long as they keep this up.

Clean. Affordable. Friendly. Newly remodeled. Under $5 per person for a ticket before 6pm. Drinks are about $5.50. Snacks range from 3 to 8. Get a $1 hotdog but they always seem to run out. With that price its no wonder why .

Not bad. This used to be the dollar movies but now its not. No more squiggly lines on the screen and sticky floors. They upgraded to some cushy reclining leather seats but they also raised the price, quite a bit. Probably a tad less than the regular movies though.

I keep seeing all these negative reviews about price hikes, referencing $7.00 as the main price point. But Im all for a $4.50 matinee, because that price is unheard of for current movies these days. If youre trying to take a family of four to a new movie, you may as well plan on spending $100+ if youre headed to the bigger theaters in town. Ticket and concession prices are through the roof. But now we have the new Picture Show, which is offering new movies at a great price. Thats a positive in my mind.The remodel seems to be coming along quite nicely. The reclining seats are just like the ones at the other theaters, and the auditorium we sat in was nice and clean. The movie screen and the sound system was top notch as well. This theatre used to be a budget theatre which showed movies that were no longer current running. Not much of anything appealing other than discounted prices. Some shady and suspicious parons. THEY HAVE NOW REMODELED!! They now show current movies. Their theatre halls were revamped including new carpeting and reclining very soft seats. It no longer has a musky smell. It smells and looks clean. You can choose your assigned seating. They have a pretty good variety of concessions and their admission prices are less expensive than the huge theatres. Their restrooms are spacious and pretty clean. There is plenty of parking and you can quickly pay at concession stand or at self help little kiosks with debit or credit card. It is an enjoyable and relaxing movie theatre. I feel safe and comfortable without spending a small fortune. Id highly encourage movie goers to check it out.

The NEWLY REMODELED and NEWLY IMPROVED Picture Show Movie Theatre — if you’re looking for a cheap movie night, you’ve found it because it’s hard to beat $4.50 for a newly released movie at any other theatre in town!! The lines to purchase tickets (and food) do get kinda lengthy so I definitely advice purchasing ahead online or arriving at least 20-minutes before the movie previews! And like every other movie theatre, concession prices are outrageous, even more so here as I think they are trying to offset the low ticket prices by higher concession stand prices!

So glad somebody revived this theater and did a great job at it. The employees seem happy to work and are courteous. Great ticket prices.

I have loved this theater since I was a little boy. Theyve upgraded the seating and only increased the ticket prices by $3 or so dollars. So not the dollar theater anymore, but still the best value for 40+ miles, and now they have the most current movies.

For the $, you cant expect more I guess. The seats are not the best but are better in some theaters than in others within the building. The sound from other theaters can be @ times heard over other movies so that is not becoming of a theater. But I will probably visit here again. Hard pressed to see a movie so cheap in the theater these days so it all makes it worth the trip.

I went on a Tuesday afternoon and I was disappointed to find that they want to reserve seats. This used to be a quick and easy cinema to catch a movie. I just want to get my ticket and sit down. Id understand reserving seats if there was a chance of filling the theater but this was 10 minutes before the movie and maybe a quarter of the seats were reserved. Why do theaters make it a hassle to catch a quick movie... needless to say I went home to watch Netflix... and I didnt need a reservation for my couch.

I enjoyed it alot. Just need more staff working and helping out. And shes like and I used to go many years ago, it was exciting.

My family watched films here several times a month because we love going the theater and it was something affordable for all of us to do together. Now, with the huge raise in prices, it is no longer affordable for us. I am single mother of two kids and I have to be wise with how I spend money. Im sure the luxury seating is nice and all but, we were more than happy with the affordable prices and the old seats. We will miss this place.

Just found this theater this morning and came back in the afternoon to take my son on a date. Love that its just $1.75 a ticket, or $1 on Tuesdays! We saw The Lego Ninjago Movie, which he thought was ridiculously funny and I thought was just plain ridiculous. At $1.75 for my ticket, I didnt mind taking a nap!

My family and I have enjoyed watching movies here. It is clean, employees are friendly, and seats are very comfortable and recline! We love that it is not uber expensive for our family of six to watch a movie at a theater. Great find!!

I went here yesterday to see the Downton Abbey movie with my mom for her birthday. The renovations really spruced the place up and it even smells nicer than I ever remember it smelling. The only thing I would really appreciate being changed us the projector brightness. The screen was much darker than most theatres I go to and made some details of the movie hard to make out. The employees were very efficient and helpful, but could probably use some more help. Overall Im really happy with the new look of this theater.

This place is definitely a lot better than it was. Ticket prices are still good but those food prices are just as insane as other theaters. I think it is outrages.

Love the renovations! The only reason its not 5 stars, is because of the seeting they have switched to. Dont get me wrong, it is upgraded and comfy to sit in onve you get to sit down, but they are hard to navigate through, as I feel they tried to shove a few too many seats in each theatre room.Overall, great bang for your buck, and I will visit again.

Ive been coming here with my family for years! We call this theater The Dollar Theater because thats about what it cost to see a movie here when they first opened.It was a great value then. One of the things that I didnt like about it were the seats. We use to joke and say if the movie was longer than 100 minutes, you have see it at the other theaters because the seats here were too uncomfortable to sit in for that long.The price change was a bit of a shock to us. BUT, they didnt just raise the prices. Weve been there and it is a totally new theater. The ticket prices were $4.50, the seats now recline, there new, the sound systems are all new. The carpet throughout the theater is new and it looks great. Its now a first run theater instead of a second run.This is still the cheapest place in town to see movies and its a much nicer place than it was. Its still a great value. Dont let the higher prices fool you. Its a new theater. Give it a show!

Best movie deal in town! They recently upgraded their seats to recliners and seem to cater to the more popular movies in the box office which is great for my kids. This is a great place to take the family out if youre on a budget.

Long time feature for the area it offers reduced prices for movies that have been out for some time already to those who can wait. The seating it the pack it in style where you are snug with your neighbor but once the show starts you forget. The video and audio quality is just as good as any other non 3d theater. Cleanliness is an issue but has improved with the time.

Reasonably priced first run showings. We used to go here for the discounted second run showings, but now it shows first run shows and is still a good value.

The renovations makes this place look completely different. I was very impressed with the new seating, screen, and sound. The prices are a little higher, but it is well worth it!!My only suggestion would be for them to add a more morden or updated lounge area for their customers. Especially when you have to wait the studio is cleaned.

As a business owner, I get having to raise prices. But a jump from $1.75 to $7.00 overnight for second run movies? What value is added? None. They think because they vacuumed the carpet for a change theyre suddenly a big league theater. Pay just a couple of dollars more and go see a first run movie with reclining chairs, superior snack selection and wine and beer.

We have enjoyed going to this theater for thirteen years (ever since we moved from Florida). We are a family of six and love the discount movie prices, digital screens, comfortable chairs, and friendly staff. When we visit other towns, we look for discount movie theaters, but there are very few out there that do the excellent job that Picture Show at Citadel Crossing does. This theater is one of the best values in Colorado Springs!

This theater is great for taking the whole family. Ticket prices are budget friendly amd they have upgraded to reclining seats and you get to reserve your seats when you get your tickets so you dont have to worry about finding seats together. Snacks are comparable to other theaters as far as price but some choices are different. Definitely recommend this theater.

Brilliant. Wonderful. A movie theater with reasonable ticket prices and reasonable food prices? AND comfy seats to boot? 10/10. Now theyre showing some new releases as well as older releases, theres no reason for me to go to any other theater, ever.

Always enjoy this theater. Sad to learn that they are going to upgrade to a regular theater showing first run movies. Their popcorn will probably still be superior to the other theaters in town, but Im not sure thats enough to compete with what we already have. They had a unique edge and their own niche in the field. Why mess with that?

The 5 stars are for the manager, Josh, on duty this afternoon, Labor Day. We were all settling in to watch Lion King when a very unstable woman started making a major rukus. He handled it professionally and quickly, we were able to resume the movie and the rest went off without incident. Kudos to you, sir!

Watched Once upon a time in Hollywood. We got a hot dog and popcorn with soda. Everyone was great.The seats were comfy. Great all around!

I like this place.. it was a little under $14 for 1 adult & 2 kid tickets. You dont have to get drinks & popcorn there just go to the dollar store a few doors away. There updated seating is nice and then your not rushing to find seats. Since they updated I plan on being a regular customer with my kiddos

A lot has changed since last time we went. The chairs have changed which is nice but the prices are no longer what they were. Used to be $1.75 now they are $7.50. Used to call it the Dollar Theatre, it isnt anymore.

We watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, while it was still decently new, and enjoyed it. They have reclining seats and all that, and its quite a bit cheaper. The popcorn and sodas a bit inflated in price but still less than the major theaters.

We watched toy story 4 at this location. The movie started late due to the film not running, I had to notify workers and it was running in about 7 minutes. I liked the drink mixing machine!

I have not been to this theater in a long time. I was very pleased to see how much it has changed and how nice it was. I will definitely go back to see another movie there.

Been going here for years, always referred to it as the dollar theater. Now, its almost I Max prices for the same terrible theater. Dont care about better seats and new carpet, its not worth it. They very literally had 5 movies showing. The lobby looked the same, minus the arcade, concession stand looked the same. So what exactly am I paying for. I saw infinity war 4 times at the picture, and am sad to say I will never go back. And what is really upsetting, is that I heard nothing about a remodel, o a price increase. Wasted time and gas to drive here and find out what they did. Good job.

Its all around great place to be and its great to bring family and friends or just by yourself and I enjoy going there and the people I talk to you love it too
