So fun going to the movies again. We saw Tenet this past weekend and the theater did a great job of welcoming us in to the movies during the pandemic. They have very comfortable seats and a super large screen and great audio. We also tried the children’s combination box that had candy, a soda, and popcorn in it for around $5. Very reasonable and will try that again.

Every experience here has been good, but tonight’s visit was the complete opposite. The first time we were declined entry due to the “un ability to pay in cash” even though there was no notice about that policy on the company’s website or the theatre. After purchasing the tickets via their website, we were denied entry due to the absences of IDs. On top of that the employee that served us was rude and refused a refund for the tickets. After contacting the manager we were given a refund which he stated was “full”. Only after getting home it came to my attention that the “refund” was not the full price we payed. If AMC reads this review, I hope they know that they’ve lost two customers today.

The theater was big and the screen and sound system were very good. There was some material on the carpet. A few people were too close and not wearing there masks during the show. I hope the theater could reinforce the need to follow things that keep people safe and the theater open. Noc theater. Would recommend you place.

The theater has really taken great steps to ensure safety during this crisis. I found that all their efforts put my mind at ease about having a night it at the movies. Thank you all for your hard work!

The first time since Ive been to the theater in over 6 years and it was an amazing experience

One of the few theaters that is currently open. I hope theyre able to stay in business.

Sadly much of the wonderful experiences in the past have changed. Warning for parents, this facility has become a “free for all” for teenagers. Most teens are able to walk into the theater with being questioned if he/she has a ticket. While “watching“ the movie, many activities are going on such as teenagers smoking weed, smoking from their vapes, drinking small bottles of liquor, among others things. There were no ushers or mangers to check inside the theater while the movie was playing. If there were, they did not take any action to stop the behavior. I’m deeply disappointed by the conduct and professionalism of this establishment. Much like the mall itself, this theater seems to be going downhill as well.

Usually I would go here and have a great time but this past time that I went there was awful. One of the staff members was rude and making faces while the manger was friendly and supposedly gave us a full refund. As soon as I got home and checked the refund it was not all of what we paid for the tickets. Highly unpleased with the service.

Nice theater and yummy popcorn! I really like their soda dispenser too. Wish they processed people quicker and didnt let people jump into the VIP pre-paid ticket line without actually being a part of that group. They need to manage those lines much better though, and have people move to the normal line if they were in the wrong line. Otherwise just have ONE line if you are afraid to confront customers and hold them accountable.

Staff was very polite and the seating was sufficient to allow for necessary distancing. So great to see a movie on the big screen again.

I havent been to theater in years. The seats have electric controls. Very comfortable. Dolby surround sound was awesome. I am a disabled veteran and cannot hear anything in my right ear.I forgot to ask for headsets which I have done in the past at other theaters. But, I never needed them. It was the first time I didnt use headsets and could hear every word.

I paid $18 for a reclining seat. The seats tilt back, but dont recline, as there is a wall behind every row. The footrest only goes up about 30%. Consequently, the seats are very uncomfortable. The seats were also not clean. You could see the popcorn butter and pieces.

I may have gotten to use to the one on Carefree. The seats were seats..they rock, had a candy stain in the one I was assigned to.. The food and beverage line super long, get there early if you want snacks. Sound quality in theater was good. Is an okay theater just not revamped like some others.

Just left this theatre. Took my wife to see Little Women. The movie (previews) was supposed to start at 7:20 but did not start until around 7:45 (which most likely caused the problem below). We got there early at 7:00 in order to to get popcorn and stood in line for 40 minutes due to the fact that this theatre sells their tickets and concessions in the same line. About 10 minutes into the film, they had to come and adjust the display due to the heads of the actors not showing entirely and the subtitles being cut off by the bottom of the screen. We experienced the screen go black for a moment shortly after that. After being emotionally invested and interested in the ending of the film, with approximately 15 minutes left to watch, the screen again went black and the AMC sponsored previews began. Myself and some of the other viewers approached the employees and we were told that they were unable to do anything about it. We were given each a movie coupon and sent on our way. Will not be going back. Jo I hope your book is published and that you find love.

We went to watch Frozen 2 in Dolby sound. Nice big reclining seats. Everything was clean. Service was fast and polite. Nice to see smiling faces with friendly service. Great experience. No crying or screaming kids. Very peaceful evening.

The movie experience was great. Unfortunately the line for food was extraordinary long so we never got popcorn and a drink that we were looking forward to. Perhaps for Saturday night they should have more people working behind the counter.

This is the first time that Ive ever been to a theater that had ONE line to service food AND ticket sales. I arrived 10 min early for a 1 pm show and was still in line at 1:15. Decided to change which movie to see but would still be late for it because the line had moved only 50% in 25 min. Unacceptable! Finally I saw a ticket dispensing machine and was able to purchase tickets there. NO signs anywhere indicating that option. This was my first time at this theater...it will definitely be my last!

Stood in line for concessions for 45 min. If youre not an AMC member, you will wait in line forever. There is a members only line and as long as theres someone in that line they will will wait on them first. The non-members line was almost out the door. You would think they would try to help keep the long wait times down. Once we got our concessions, theres one line to get into the theaters that took another 5 minutes just to scan tickets. The seats are not reclining but they charged the same price as the theaters that do. Had I known, I wouldve gone to another theater. Staff was friendly however. Will not pick this theater again.

This is my favorite movie theater by far. The staff is pretty fast, their popcorn and drink setup is unique and very functional, their theaters are comfortable and of great quality. I have no complaints about this theater.

Not the best theater around...old style seats that dont recline, no foot rests, and are very narrow and close together. They do offer some food options, heat-and-eat things like chicken fingers and big pretzels. They also have some beer options at the snack counter. Overall, there are far better theaters that offer just as much, but with far, far superior seating.

I went on discount Tuesday all seats are $5 first come on seating good seats. 3 stars because the temperature inside the movie Theater which The Incredibles 2 was showing was 45 degrees which was very cold. People were going out just to warm up then coming back in to continue to watch the movie. The Incredibles 2 was enjoyable to see but not in the conditions of being freezing cold.

The main popcorn station was not manned. Only one soda machine had Ice but no soda. And only one soda machine had soda but no ice. Out of 8 machines. Understaffed.The inside of the theatre itself was lovely. Clean, newer reclining chairs. And the Movie Gemini Man was phenomenal.

Its a nice theater. They still have regular movie theater seats here, as compared to Regal that has powered reclining chairs. It was still a great theater to see the Rise of Skywalker.

OMG this place is like stepping into a time machine. I havent been in the theater like this for awhile. Im used to recliners, heavy sound system plush environment. I give it five stars kudos to the old days when things were simple and cheaper.

My favorite theater in Colorado Springs. Always clean. Like how you can refill your soda when you want. Theaters are nice and clean. Employees always seem friendly.

I never leave reviews but this theater is the worst theater Ive ever experienced . This location is under staffed and miss managed. Very long concession lines. Dirty bathrooms and theaters. Seats are un comfortable and it looks like it needs to be renovated.

I love the fact that I can choose from buttery popcorn or kettle corn poprcorn. The seats are very comfy brings me back to my childhood of sitting in front of our living room TV set watching movie marathons. This place is two thumbs up for me!

We watched Spider-Man Far From Home in the 4D theater. It was awesome and totally worth it. It has a giant screen, super audio, and the seats rumble during the action scenes, when sound increases. It is not an over-bearing amount of rumble and does not distract from the movie. It was a great experience.

This is my favorite theater in the springs. Ive always loved amc. They have great seats great atmosphere and Id reccomend this over many other theaters.

If youre not a premier customer, you have to wait. Need a register dedicated to premier and one dedicated for regular customers. We almost missed the start of our movie because premier customers were being taken care of and we were stuck standing in line. The movie experience itself was awesome. First time in a Dolby theater with reclining seats.

The movie screens and seats are nice. The concession stand offers a very good selection from candy and popcorn to hamburgers and beer, however they need more staff it took more then 30 minutes to get through the line. It appeared they only had one person working the normal line and two working the AMC special person line. I will not return and support a theater that takes it operating is from the airlines.

Theater is clean and conveniently located in the mall allowing for browsing/ shopping while you wait for your showtime. However, I do find it to be a bit pricey. For 4 tickets (2 adult 2 children), 2 kids snack boxes, a lg popcorn, and lg soda it cost us $70. They do offer military discount on ticket purchase but even that only brought us down to $67. My biggest issue with this location would be the fact that on a Saturday night with multiple new movies being released they only had 2 cashiers working the ticket/concession stands and 1 at popcorn refill. Best advice if wanting to watch a movie here is to be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to grab snacks and such.

Nice new theater clean easy to drive to I like the new comfortable seats lots of parking and multiple restrooms and its easy to find and theres plenty of restaurants near by

This is a newly built cinema that features the Big D Imax screen which is worth taking in. Its a great place for your favorite flick. And for beer drinkers, Yes you can drink a few beers. Enjoy

The theater concessions were very good. The selection is large. They do have alcohol in addition to a generous selection of meals. The physical dimensions of the theater and the actual movies are spacious. The theaters are clean and the seats and sound system are very good. The seat that I used was traditional in that it was manual and not motorized. I liked it. The screens are very nice. The restrooms were very clean. The staff was attentive and courteous. Overall, I will go there again and recommend it to others.

We loved the concessions, the projector glitched about halfway through leaving one side of the screen red and the other green. Everyone in the theater for this movie got refunded and were able to continue watching even with the glitching screen. The seats were ok. We prefer theaters with reclining seats, though.

Run of the mill theater located in a dying mall. Usually a line, but it seems to move pretty quickly. The popcorn setup is a bit lame as its another line you have to stand in after making the purchase. Theaters and bathrooms are clean. The seats are fairly comfortable, but nowhere near the experience you get at some of the VIP theaters in the area. Might as well drive a little farther north for a better overall experience.

Comfy, nice concessions selection, the lines can be really long. Good location though!

AMC has a special premiere line for their members that basically screws anyone who gets into the regular line. Had only one cashier, but after 20 minutes another finally arrived, only to take more folks from the premiere line. The cashiers also did the drink and candy orders which further slowed down the process. Popcorn was stale and discovered hair in the bag, not something you enjoy in the dark while trying to watch the movie. I understand AMC is trying to up their app and membership but this is ridiculous.

Please add a register for concessions only. Put them in the place of the kiosks and move the kiosks to the other side of the lobby. The concessions register can pull from the main line when no customers are there, but with increased advanced purchase and assigned seating, customers shouldnt have to stand in the main ticket line for concessions. Additionally popcorn refills and other concessions during the movie are impossible because the line is extremely slow. I bought tickets in advance for reserved seats but I missed the beginning of the movie to stand in the ticket line for popcorn. Until they figure it out I encourage customers to bring in your own snacks and skip the line

The seating, picture quality, and food are good. The bathrooms are kept up nicely. A very good movie experience.

The last few movies I have seen, the theater has been so cold you need your coat, hat, space heater and dont forget your gloves. Well below the 65f they say they keep the theater at and when I complained management says they can only turn the heat up by two degrees and anything more they have to contact corporate. It is an unpleasant experience and not worth sitting two hours shivering in the dark, let alone the mess trying to eat buttery popcorn with your gloves on!

The venue was clean and decently kept. The seats were okay, they didnt recline back very far. My feet were only able to lift about 45 degrees and the head rest didnt come up very far. I had to lean forward and it put strain on my neck.

The best theatre here in the springs, the service is always great and the Dolby cinema theater is very nice, cool looking.

Beautiful Regal theater located in the Chapel Hills Mall in the heart of Briargate. They have great concessions and a Dolby theater. Clean and safe for families.

The Chapel Hills movie theater is a great place to eat, have a nice drink, and watch movies. This is probably the best movie theater have been to.

We live out of town and have to travel to see movies. This theater is always our number 1 choice. Always a great experience and the staff is very helpful and friendly!

I just recently watched a movie here for the first time, but I probably wont come here again. The staff were friendly, but the service was slow, not because of the staff though. Its the way the place is set up. We couldnt sit ourselves down until about 10 minutes prior to the movie starting. Lastly, the speaker in theater 8 row M was defective. It made a scratchy sound throughout the movie.

Waited in line for 30 mins, 2 people working at the speed of smell. Needs more staff for busier nights. Fix this. Will not come back.

This place is an awesome theater. Check out fandango as this theatre is also a part of the early premiere locations. If you are looking for a snack, I recommend the pretzel as it is huge!!

Those of you who have complained about the lack of staff: I have a friend who works there and since Amc took over they have cut everyones hours there, so if a theater isnt cleaned (well) its because they had two or three other movies that got out at the same time and they didnt get to your theater before you went inside. They all do their best to get it clean for you, and get you your tickets as fast as possible, but theyre only allowed to schedule 2 people at concessions and 2 people to clean most days. Please be understanding that its not anyones fault the lines are long or the theaters arent cleaned except for Amc cutting employee hours.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The screen was great but the seats were out of date and the floor was really sticky in front of the seats! Gross!

I went and saw Detective Pikachu with my fiance. We arrived a couple minutes late but we were able to purchase tickets quickly and efficiently. The movie was fantastic and the theater was clean. The only negative was that the cashier didnt apply my fiances a-list rewards to the purchase of my tickets so he would get points. A good experience overall

Get there early, not enough people working the cash register, takes 30 minutes for a regular person to get a ticket, premium gets served first. Think having one person just for premium would work out better. Im done for the summer

Clean, comfortable. Had to stare at a blank green screen until the actual previews started, but not the end of the world. Does not have full reclining motorized seats, but they still tip back a bit and are comfortable. Popcorn was a little burnt.

I love that I can get my own soda. I know that’s corny but I dig it. It was one of the last theaters without assigned seating, but it’s ok they have it now. Id rather first come first serve.

Watched in the Dolby Cinema AMC theater and it was the best I have been in in Colorado Springs. Ive been in all the theaters and they upgraded this specific room. It had amazing sound and the chairs were really nice and how the move. They also had rumble in the seats that matched perfect with huge explosions etc. I can only imagine the scares and jumps in a horror film. It enhances the viewing. I highly suggest trying this particular room out. And they serve beer if you want that too.

About what you might expect of the typical theater, but Ive gotten quite spoiled with the full-on seating that they offer at Tinseltown.Staff was friendly and efficient and their soda machine is amazing as you can pick out of about 50 flavors. The only thing that really sucked was the popcorn was insanely stale. Now I did go on a Tuesday (early afternoon) and maybe they were too slow to make fresh popcorn, but if Im paying $8 Id like it to have been made within the last 5 hours at least...Its in the mall which makes it convenient if you have kids, but I wouldnt spend the money on the concession stand.

I mean just as good as tinsel town or the imax if your looking for the Movie theater experience. Cost is about the same too.

Hey I get it... some people paid a little extra to use the a list line but I was on time for my movie. Once 4 people skipped a head of me I was late. Never going to this theater again... ikon was super easy.

I really enjoy this theater. Their Dolby Cinema screen is awesome. The rest of the screens still need upgrading though. According to AMC, all of their theaters will be using reserved seating by June 2019. Well see if that actually happens, but that would be great if they did.The A-list membership is a great deal for us. We save around $15 each time we come to the theater. There are supposed to be plans to make the A-list membership into a family plan, which would be much better. Not sure when that will happen though.Overall, the price and quality here are excellent.

Kiosk was vauge about what times were available, how that was messed up is beyond me. Popcorn was old (I worked a movie theater) and the exit sign was right next to the screen, without so much as a shield to keep the green glare from lighting up half the screen during dark scenes. This was the most expensive, worst movie experience I think Ive ever had. Went to see Rise of Skywalker, should have waited for the 4k, would have been better at home.edit: oh, and there was booze in the theater from the last show

The service is fine and the theater is nice, but they advertise having a bar - and they used to, but they dont anymore. Slightly disappointed that we went out of our way to have a date night here.

I saw Rise of Skywalker here in one of the Dolby screens. The theater itself was nice and clean. The Dolby experience wasnt great - the overall volume was way too loud. My ears were ringing when we walked out. I also didnt appreciate the 30 minutes of previews, or the additional 10 minutes of noise and the explanation of the dumb Dolby sound system. We get it, its loud as ****. Can I watch the movie?

A run of the mill movie theater with traditional seating and concessions.Pros: The theater is generally very well kept, the staff is friendly, and reserved seating is offered. Adult beverages are offered.Cons: Traditional seating is a tough pill to swallow these days. Priority lines for members always leave a bad taste in my mouth. Commercials galore, even after scheduled showtimes.Id be far more inclined to come here more often if recliner seating was installed. Dine-in would also be fantastic, but I think Roadhouse Cinemas will have to introduce that to the Colorado Springs market first.

Its ok. This theatre doesnt have the upgrades of most theatres but if your looking for someplace to watch a movie that isnt crowded with a lot of people, I would recommend coming here

Im spoiled by the seats at Cinemark unfortunately, the seats in this theatre are the regular theatre seats and the rows are too close together for my long legs. The workers are lovely, cheerful people and its very clean but Im afraid I just prefer the recliners anymore.

I like the theater, but it does seem AMC chain is always pushing products, and punishing customers if they do not pony up the extra cash. They treat those who do not buy their membership a second class citizens, forcing the to wait longer in line while they serve club members 1st. My advice is to use an online app and avoid concessions. The theater itself was good.

AMC is always a good time. The AMC A-List is a fantastic deal. This location can be a bit rough at times. A lot of times it seems there is not enough cashiers and no consistency to which line they pull people from. We also went to a late night movie where the lights were turned on half way through and attempted to find staff to fix it 3 or 4 times and were no where to be found. Havent had any other issues and have been here probably two dozen times in the last 3 months! And the Dolby Theater inside is AMAZING.

The Dolby theater is awesome! Great picture and booming sound, only drawback is the cost of tickets. Highly recommend matinee showings, less crowded and better prices!

They are in serious need of an upgrade. And the popcorn was at least a day old. I think we will just stick to Cinemark!

A 1 star experience tonight. The girl behind the counter tonight did not appreciate her job. Even as we [the customer] attempted twice to get her to smile. The attitude did not represent a warm and inviting start to a family night out at the movies. Extremely frustrating how an attendant can be so ill-mannered to a customer. Id hate to imagine it was because of an ethnicity issue. What is even more frustrating was the same unwillingness to change a frustrated customers opinion around to save her companys name. We simply asked if there was a larger side container than their complimentary water cups for a large popcorn we were sharing as a family. If the cost of product was an issue I was willing to pay a charge. Instead of attempting a solution (or acknowledging that the customer was talking to her) she calls her manager over. I would hate to imagine this was what AMC was envisioning as their front line guest attendant. Management was not willing to budge either. Over the cost of a $1.00 or less tray, they were fully willing to allow the customer to become even more upset with the situation than it already was. Id hate to think it was because I was female. But, in an escalated situation that it became, its easy to assume this was the case. There are other movie theaters in the area.

Jamanji the next level was fantastic! Great movie with the family!

The last 2 times weve been to this theatre weve had a negative experience. The last time we checked the website to make sure the movie we wanted was playing, got there the cashier said, oh we havent played that movie for 2 weeks. This last time we went asked for tickets, double checked that they were giving us the right tickets and the cashier STILL gave us the wrong tickets. Probably never going back. Overpriced and not worth it.

Clean, Good A/V, super expensive concessions

We love this theatre. Only complaint is the restrooms tend to be on the dirty side. Its nice to do some shopping then watch a movie. This theatre is one of the busier one we frequent.

Way over priced and then still had to buy tickets for rides. Will go to Denver next time.

Comfortable seating, friendly staff, short lines. I love going here when new movies come out, because there is almost always seating in every row. They also serve alcohol, which is nice when youre looking to relax with a beer or wine. Very clean, have not had a problem with sticky floors or trash. Tons of parking and easy access to the Chapel Hills Mall. Great for date night!

Well, the people greeted me kindly, would have given 5 stars if I didnt have to deal with multiple refunds and transferring movies because the guy didnt give me the time I wanted

Love the new reclining seats, but they raised the price of tickets to accommodate; which I definitely dont love. It shouldnt cost $60 for tickets to a matinee.I also appreciate that you can do your own butter on your popcorn and love those drink machines that give you flavors.
