Great stop for hard to find wintering Raptors, Merlin, rough legged, Ferugy,
Its a beautiful, natural part of the peaceful world.
Jim Jones, congratulations on the most obtuse review Ive yet to see on here. Im sincerely impressed by the ignorance. FYI, Preserve should be a pretty clear indication of the land use and purpose. No, that doesnt mean mudding flats, hunting grounds, or whatever destructive activity you weirdly seem to think youre entitled to do here. Believe it or not, some plants and animals are uncommon or rare now due to the abundance of the orchards you inexplicably love, and this is one of the very few protected areas where those lifeforms will continue to exist. Thank you, Vina Plains. Also, totally bizarre and frankly pathetic attempt to politicize a review of a nature preserve, sir. You seem to think this is a weird affront to your precious capitalism, but news flash, this was private property someone owned and decided this was how they wanted to use it. Welcome to America.
Best time to come is during spring. Beautiful place!
Nature at its finest
Sacramento river access, beautiful sunset.
Mother nature at her best!
Quiet and peaceful
Great and beautiful place
Nothing to do here
Dry fields
Nobody is ever there
