This is my favorite place to go dancing! I love the atmosphere, music, & people. Every time I come here, I have a great time except for one time, I left my purse on the table & somebody stole it & ruined my whole night. But over all I recommend this place if your new to clubbing, check this place out !!!! You’ll have a great time . Yeah the drinks might be over priced but where else isn’t ? It’s Chicago

They are very, very strict on dress code. Definitely don’t come with sneakers, or jeans. We got lucky on a Friday night and they let us in... dance floor was fun and full of people dancing. Coat check was 3$ and mandatory so bring some cash. Overall good time, but be sure to dress nice or expect a rude bouncer.

Be careful with this place they over charge first $12 to enter plus $3 for coat check and is obligated to check ur coat... oh and be careful at the bar since they think your drunk they will over charge u at soon as we walk in we ask for the special which it was $9 so we got two specials and one beer and he charge us 34 then I was trying to ask him why it was 34 he acted like he couldn’t hear me so after an hr we ask for the same thing and this time he charge us $40 so I got mad and asked him what’s going on with the over charge once again he pretended like he couldn’t hear us

The drink is too bad and the price is very expensive the food is normal, the atmosphere isn’t latin latin is mix more Mexican sound.

Nothing truly bad to say about the place, Saturday 2/08/20 was the first time Ive visited. My boyfriend and I arrived a little after 11pm and the person at checkin asked if we had a text for our free entry. Unfortunately I have all short code messages blocked and we could not get in for free.$12 per person cover.We did not have coats since they have convenient Parking across the street for just $8 dollars.If you plan on using your card to make drink purchases then keep the tap open since they have a $15 min purchase and they will run the $15 for just two beers.Overall experience was fun, a little old school with the announcer speaking for the birthdays and to get the people excited.Suggestion for the owner would definitely be to add more up to date music, there was too much Bachata and repeated songs.Adding some english music would be good too, since the crowd is anywhere from mid 20s to older generations.

The Latin Bliss is a great destination if you are into the best Latin music and amazing drink, a very safe environment to have fun . Been going to this place for almost 3years. I always enjoy my time , some bad comments are not accurate . They do have dress code which keep the place in a classic style and I love this part , the drinks are always strong with so reasonable prices . The crew are very professional and very fast to get your drink right away. The music is the top of what s out there with a nice dance floor and so many guest comes always there so you will get to meet so many regulars and feel home in a way.The owners always interacting with guest and so polite and professional.Do not look at some bad reviews and try this place , you will absolutely feel in love with it.Karim

Been going here throughout the years and it’s Always a good time. It’s definitely a place to go dance not sit around, space for watchers is limited. Friday nights are mostly tropical music, Saturday’s consist of more of a variety of top hits, dance and tropical(Spanish). Friday’s have a more mature crowd while Saturday’s bring in a younger crowd. Club is open till 5 am which I find to be an advantage, Parking is easy as well.If you frequent this place you will notice that there are many regulars that attend, you might make friends with them. Dress code isn’t super strict but reasonable. For whoever said that you can’t wear jeans: yes you can, just make sure you’re wearing appropriate shoes for a club. Don’t expect to be let in with sneakers and sandals.It’s definitely a smaller space and the drinks are on the higher price range; depending on the bartender they’re a hit or miss just like their attitudes. I’ve never had any issues with the staff there but I’ve seen others get snarky attitudes from some of the staff. Good service should be available to everyone.Their bottle service could be improvised, if you have to pay a certain gratuity percentage to your server, the least the server could do is mix some drinks, clean the table promptly, check up on the table and be friendly.

Not only is there a 12$ cover but a extra 3$ MANDATORY coat check! Definitely for older crowd

Firstly they demand you take off your coats,jackets,cardigan ect off and charge you $3. Then the drinks are overpriced and not even good.Bar tenders were nice.

The place was quite small and the drinks were over priced in my opinion. I can see those type of prices if you were at an upscale club down town etc. Its mostly Latin music. Staff wasnt rude but seating is limited in this place. Dance floor is not that big and the music is mostly salsa. I think more variety of music would be more fun to dance to. This place is not bad but I wont be returning.

Dont waste your money!! As I was walking in the bouncer is smoking while holding the door, disgusting. The place was filled with old people and the music was a joke. The so called dj was only playing music videos, old music and old people. I wanted a cup of water and was FORCED TO BUY A BOTTLE. Im appalled that they refuse water to people, theres clubs that have water for people through out the club. This place is such a freaking joke, old men just gaucking at you. The AC is bad too they probably make it hotter on purpose so you are forced to buy drinks, wouldnt surprise me

Was just there for first time, Security who also stated he was the owner told us I need it to wear casual shoes and suggested to go back home and change my gym shoes or go to the near by Walmart to buy some dress shoes. Furthermore it was not specified on the website...so is it casual shoes or dress shoes hmmm!?

Horrible customer service. First of all they have you go through a coat check that you have to pay for. Then the bouncers make snarky comments for no reason. Then you have the very rude bartenders and bouncers. The music was alright, but there overall service is horrible. I will never return to this horrible place. Almost charging their customers to breathe, but have no manners. Absolutely no reason to go to this place.

Ive gone there twice in one year and both times were the same: pretty empty club, good music, rude bartenders. The drink minimum is $25 to use a credit card and the guy who explained it to me was rude about it. Also they dont believe in giving free water which is ridiculous to me how clubs think its okay to charge for tap water when someone is trying to drink responsibly. Latin Bliss obviously isnt the only club that participates in this ridiculousness but they are a part of it.Chicago has much better places to offer so I wont be back here.

Good music, small dance floor and drinks were overpriced. I also lost my keys there and when I called to see if they had found them the lady just said “they give me nothing, okay!” Literally yelling at me and then hung up.

Ordered drinks and food from a waiter who was cold and rude (we were only the third group to walk in so the night had just started). After waiting half an hour for the food they said, “I don’t know where your food is, maybe 2 more minutes”, then another waiter came by and said it would be another half hour before we got anything.Very rude staff. Will not be coming back!

Rude staff Alert!!!Came here with a group of 6 thinking we would have a good time. All tables need to be reserved and to top it off its completely over crowed. Over charged for a small place in my opinion and to top it off had a bouncer harass us till we left. A taller bouncer with a bald head and tattoos. He had an attitude all night and mind you we were buying drinks and making the place a couple bucks. Drinks are like 10 dollars for the low end. Only reason we left was due to the staff. That bouncer needs to calm down or needs a reality check.

A lot of old people and old salsa music. Wish they would play more of the new regaeton and bachata instead of those old salsa songs..

Its a nice local joint with good music. Be prepared to stand if you dont want to buy a bottle in order to secure a table. Most affordable was $120 for vodka. Ladies enter for free before midnight on Saturdays.

Great place. Slow to fill up but might have been cause of the holiday. Once midnight hit it was full, but not in a way you couldnt dance.Staff was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back.I recommend people to come. The music was great. They played all types of Latin music. From bachata to cumbia to reggaeton. Very great atmosphere!

Nice to go to a place were we can literally dance all night long !!!! Not too far from home. The down side is a small dance floor . Got stepped on by a woman with heals .I know its not the clubs fault, but isnt this an awesome pic?

This place is horrible, do not go! They turned back 9 people because one was wearing shorts, but not only that, they were disrespectful of the person. the bouncers need an attitude check there and so those the managmet. If the owners are interested in keeping this place, they need to rethink the staff completely. Absolutely horrible. I go to many latin club and trust when I say this, avoid at all cost. The make you wait in line and then come out and say who is popping bottles I guess that gets you in the door faster, I guess they need the money that bad. If you are not a real latin club then change your name to bliss. All I heard was Nikki and I was unaware that American rap was Spanish music. Horrible place.

Im from Colombian and I went to this place and honestly the dress code is absolutely ridiculous... my boyfriend was wearing Jordan shoes and according to the doorman those were gym shoes and access was denied. So embarrassing since hes from India and was first time going to a Latin club.

Its the place i go for Great Latin Music! And to dance and Party! Its Awesome!

Garbage, no cute ladies (you can see females in pajamas), interior looks like from the 80s. Dance floor tiny, only good thing small tv on a bar. Did I mentioned ridiculous entry fee. Other night clubs like mid, drinks, spybar ... are cheaper to get in than this latin misss ( miss probably for reason ). One more thing you get in security guard pads you out/ checks. You better going somewhere else

Horrible experience. Front door man is inconsistent and discriminatory. Didn’t let my friend in for gym shoes, but let a group of guys in with chucks and new balance and claimed they’re not sneakers. Staff is rude and inhospitable.
