It was lots of fun! We were racing to finish before being caught by Locust! Cant wait to try the next level! Definitely recommend! I think it would be even better if it was upgraded to a more modern time though. Still love it!

This is a great escape game venue. Love the interconnected story and the rooms are top notch. Especially recommend 35th and Archer.

This was one of the best escape rooms Ive been to. The story is compelling, and all of their rooms are interconnected to tell the whole story (Ive only done House Arrest so far). The room was suspenseful, challenging, and so fun! You can tell that there was a lot of effort put into the design of this room.

Ive been to several escape room companies...this was the most unique and fun. Not just stacks of boxes with simple puzzles to be done in parallel like others. Great atmosphere, fun story (each room is related to the previous), and friendly staff.

My friend and I live in different states and we meet up for the occasional long weekend to do escape rooms. This past weekend we chose Charlottesville. I reached out to the owners here and they were SO nice. We wanted to do all of their rooms in order to follow the storyline so they worked with our schedule and we did all of their rooms in one epic swoop!Their 30 minute “intro” to the story is super intense. It’s designed for two people and while it absolutely falls into the category of escape rooms (puzzles, working together, communication, etc) it was unlike ANY other escape room I have ever done. I was skeptical about a 30 minute experience designed for 2 but it was a perfect opening to the storyline of their rooms. HIGHLY recommend checking this out.We did their 3 “full” rooms and loved them too. Definitely the most immersive escape room experiences we have ever done. Loved their unique hint structure and the variety of puzzles. The decor is extensive and definitely contributes to the experience. If you are in, or even remotely near Charlottesville and enjoy escape rooms or solving puzzles, you owe it to yourself to check this place out!

Had an absolute blast. They definitely spent the time to be very thorough with how the room was set up, and how the story would play out! Loved the nightmare theme, and the creepy atmosphere that they were able to incorporate in such a small place. Dont think about going, just do it!

My daughter and I just completed 35th/Archer and I must say, it is very well done. Great immersion and puzzles, some we haven’t seen before. We highly recommend this escape room! Our Game Master/owner was very good and personable and we enjoyed chatting with him after. Thanks for a great evening!

Blown away... But I cant even say why because of spoilers! Dang it! I would encourage anyone who likes puzzles to do these rooms. The room we did was totally automated. Meaning all the activations happened without the host needing to press buttons in another room or something. It made for a movie-like, surreal experience. I asked how he did some of the things and he told me he used a raspberry pi (tiny computer). Genius... I Loved it!My advice:When you come here, forget about reality for an hour, get into character and engage the host as if the story is real. Its just so much fun this way.

Great puzzles, challenging but not cheap and really creates a sense of immersions. There are even bonus puzzles which tie into the other rooms if you have enough time left over. Owners have clearly put thought and care into crafting a unique experience and we will definitely be back!

So far, Ive done two of the rooms here (Lions Den and 35th & Archer) and I am BEYOND impressed. Theyre most definitely challenging, but a lot of fun -- and there is SO much attention to detail. You really do feel immersed in the characters world. Cant wait to come back and try the other two. I would recommend Immersion Escape Rooms to anyone! :)

This is the best escape room that C-ville has to offer. The settings and storyline are truly immersive and it feels like youve been transported someplace else. Other escape rooms have too much staff involvementwhen puzzle solving so that everybody wins. If you want a real challenge with an expertly crafted backdrop, go to Immersion Escape Rooms. You wont be disappointed!

AMAZING. You guys. This place is awesome. So my boyfriend and I just did the two of us because we like to solve stuff on our own and we started with the first level. I won’t give anything away, it’s a surprise. The room is extremely well done. Hard puzzles that really make you think outside the box. Hey, it’s okay to accept some clues haha they let you do most of the work but they are so hard that taking a couple clues doesn’t make you feel bad! The success rate is pretty low. We made it out just in time! And yes we took like 3 clues hahaha luckily we are a good team. Try this place!! So much fun I promise!!!

Having done over 50 rooms across the east coast I can honestly say this is the best set of rooms Ive done. The owner has established a game set that can be both linear and fun across multiple rooms. This means booking all three rooms helps tell a story. The first room a 30 min room is challenging and exciting. I highly recommend this escape room establishment as it is second to none.

One of the highest production value escape rooms Ive ever been to (and Ive escaped around 100 rooms). Detail oriented, movie like settings; seems like no expense spared. Rooms get progressively harder so bring the A team when you go here. You will not be disappointed. There is bbq 50 feet away, so do a room, have lunch, do another room.

My friends and I visited Immersion and did their first two rooms, House Arrest and Lions Den, and we loved them. The rooms were well made, the puzzles unique, the production value was high, and the continuous story line was a fresh take on the escape room formula. I recently returned with my friend to do the two man room A Nightly Reminder. We were initially apprehensive about a two man room and also for only 30 minutes, but we were both very impressed with the amount of content as well as the theme and full immersion of the room. I would highly recommend any escape room enthusiasts in the area to check out Immersion if you are looking for a great experience.

The Details. Immersion Escape Rooms realizes the most important part of the escape room experience, and the main difference between solving puzzles in a room and engaging in a truly rewarding escape room experience. Before you even walk in the building, they communicate a narrative/REASON for you to get involved, and a way for you to make the experience your own. Immersion is truly, as it names suggests, an immersive experience; this is not your typical escape room with a veil of a reason for the puzzles (the puzzles are EXCELLENT here, btw), this is you playing a role in something that feels like it is part of something larger. Highly rewarding, excellent production values, and FUN!

This was my first escape room experience and I loved it. I totally felt like a spy. The puzzles were challenging enough but not so hard we couldnt figure them out. The atmosphere was excellent, truly immersive. I cant wait to do the other rooms. It even inspired me to plan an escape room challenge for my 5th grade class.

Extremely fun, if you are one to possess the PuzzleMind. Not to be confused with the PuzzledMind. Or is it? Im confused.Anyway. Definitely challenging, but not the rage inducing kind that can make you Hulk Out in front of a group of newly acquired co-workers, causing you to embark on a previously life-changing, but now permanently soul-crushing, career journey.Just the right amount of difficulty. But dont be discouraged or dissuaded from attempting an Immersion Escape if you dont consider yourself, or maybe your spouse, or possibly your kid, to be, ya know.... smart. This company generously, and deservedly anticipates the abilities of the average escape artist. Unlike the majority of other Escape Rooms, Immersion has added another dimension to the escaping experience. Those that are attempting an escape will have a live texting chat feed available between themselves and a key character involved in their specific escape scenario. This insider is privy to the clues scattered throughout your room, and you are encouraged to communicate with them throughout your escape. In the beginning, I felt like this was cheating. But eventually, my ego got decimated by its own need to succeed, and I realized this unique feature is necessary and actually encouraged by the creators. The rooms were designed using the Insider as part of the experience, and it gives the escape a deeper cinematic overtone.Immersion Escape Rooms will toss your ego on a carousel horse and watch it wax and wane with delight. You will feel like Forrest Gump one minute and Rain Man the next. But which one is which? The room may never know.
