This is such a cool concept but you need practically 10 people to complete the puzzle; which is one of the reasons it was created - to foster community interaction. We were here during a busy time and as we started to touch the panels to solve the riddle, random kids (young & old) would walk by & touch random panels & screw up the sequence. Also one of the panels on the West side near the train is busted which could screw up solving the riddle or not... would love to try this out when no one is around or if we could get 10-20 people together. We were told by the bartender at Tank*s Tap in the market that it has been solved a few times on his watch.

I read about the Musical parking garage and just had to see it myself. Great random experience. Especially the literary statue park next door. If you find yourself in Charlotte, its worth the stop. The world market in the lower level of the building has a great atmosphere and lots of unique food options.

Like others have said, it’s an intriguing concept. I just new I had the solution to the riddle, but the seventh light didn’t work. Based on the other post about it being out of order for months, maybe that is part of the riddle too...?Anyway, my wife and I enjoyed the adventure anyway. The funniest part of it is that most of the locals don’t even know about this. We started pushing the panels and a group of young folks asked what we were doing. We are from out of town, but had to explain it to them.We did meet a nice restaurant employee that told us the riddle had been solve a few times but he wasn’t sure how to do it either.Go give it a try, but be sure to posts a video if you solve it!

Cool place to stop if you’re in the area. We had lunch and enjoyed looking around in between tours.

This is a fun place to check out if you are in the area. The parking garage is also home to a food market (which is on the pricer side), so you can get some food and sit outside to listen to the music.

Do not park here. Crooks manage the facility and if you lose your ticket, you will pay $45 dollars which is more than a day parking in downtown Chicago and 1/2 months rent to park in uptown Charlotte. I get $20 for a lost ticket because you don’t know if that car has been there for hours or the day but $45 in NODA, is complete robbery.
