Great place to go for a walk/run. The pathway follows along a creek. There are multiple parking lots along the trail. It is well maintained. Very pretty views along the trail. There are water fountains, statues, landscapes, and more. Would recommend this to anyone that would like to get some exercise in, take the kids on a walk, or get some peace and quiet.

This is probably my favorite greenway in Charlotte (along with many others).Previously, Ive biked from Freedom Park to Elizabeth. Its a long greenway—there are a couple of awkward spots where it breaks but it goes a lot longer than that.Last weekend we were getting takeout in Midtown and decided to walk the greenway for a bit before along Kings Drive.Usually the greenway is crowded. It wasnt too bad when we were there. It was a little more crowded than I would have liked, but we mostly managed to avoid people. If you havent checked out this beautiful greenway, its definitely worth it!

Beautiful! Long and quiet. A great place to walk and run. Many people bike it but it is a little tight. Takes you all the way to Freedom Park. Favorite greenway thus far!

Always busy. The trail is along busy city roads that are loud. Be careful taking children here. There is also a lot of homelessness in the area.

If you like a metropolitan/park setting then you will love Little Sugar Creek Greenway. The walkway is bike friendly with a wide path and runs alongside a shallow creek. It is a pleasant walk way lined with landscaped areas, a few shops and cafes, and several smaller metropolitan parks. It also tunnels under the streets so your stroll is uninterrupted. Please be considerate of others with your language and conduct

Nice little walk, in metropolitan so its close to shops, wasnt crazy busy so it was easy to keep social distancing. Parts of the greenway floods after rain storms.

Definitely a nice greenway. Only drawback is that people on bikes go fast and you have to pay attention. Its a good length and even connects with Freedom park. Once you get closer to uptown, the views are so pretty!!

I really enjoy this greenway for running and people watching, but had to knock a star because the low spots flood after most rains. Its so easy and enjoyable to run along this path. Not too shady, so perhaps stick to neighborhoods for your summer/hot runs.

Amazing place to run, walk, and enjoy green space close to uptown Charlotte. The Greenway a paved trail that extends for miles, providing a safe place to walk in an honestly unwalkable city. It takes you past some cute parts of the creek, especially down near Freedom Park. There are no spectacular views but it’s just a good chance to experience a bit of nature. It also extends past the downtown area, giving you easy access to local businesses. This is an easy trail with the occasional grade and no steep hills. The Greenway seems accessible to wheelchairs, with ramps on and off the trail and no required steps. Also, this would be a good place to walk with kids since it’s somewhat protected from the street adjacent. Note: do NOT plan to go fast on your bike or electric scooter here, there are always pedestrians on the path.Overall, this is a safe, widely-used and well-maintained urban trail that I recommend checking out.

Nice path, there are some places that make you forget youre in the city. The end closer to Target is well lit with plenty of other people. The farther ends however I would not run alone at dark. Im a little surprised there are not a few safety zone stations along the way but perhaps people kust dont use it much at night. During the day its scenic and paceful. The trickling creek is relaxing. Could use some liter cleanup along the far banks bit im sure thats a logistical nightmare.

I really think that the Little Sugar Creek Greenway could easily top a list for one of the best urban parks in the entire country. You can get your cardio cone here in style. As you are walking around you will sometimes forget that you are even in a large city yet look up and see the buildings.

Very nice Greenway, does flood in some areas so be prepared after heavy rains. Very easy to get distracted in some areas because of the awesome views of the Uptown. Safely first, dont go alone at any time and be sure youre listening for cyclist and scooter fool speeding. As always if you found review helpful please take a moment and hit the , thanks

This is a great location for daily exercise - walking, running, biking, etc. Its peaceful, not too many people out, but enough to feel safe. I walk from Wendys all the way to Freedom Park and back usually on the path, but also taking the street for a longer route to come in the back of Freedom and circle the pond a few times before heading back.

Really nice path for many activities. I like it for Pokemon Go. My only issue with it is that sometimes when the trail is more narrow, bicyclists and people on scooters dont bother to slow down or even announce themselves to walkers. Makes me a little nervous.

One of my favorite CLT greenways and its about to get connected to the newer southern section down through Huntington Town Farms to the 485 and the Polk site. Great path for running and walking! However, you have to watch out for bike riders! Some are kids and they will run you over while the parents are way behind. Also, some adults riders you run into will do the same. Its not a wide trail so keep yours eyes moving and looking behind you not everyone lets you know they are passing! It beautiful at time however, the smell every now and then sucks!

It is beautiful, but the high speed bicycle traffic this evening felt very unsafe. I would not take my grandchildren there. It was not children riding their bikes too fast, but young adults that I saw behaving recklessly. I had been wanting to see this highly touted and expensive example urban relandscaping. Now that I have seen it, I will not return because of safety concerns. I was walking in the midtown area off of Kings.
