Cute little City Park connects North Forest Hills neighborhood with the Lake Ellen area.Well maintained, nice bathrooms and water fountain. Covered space with picnic tables.Basketball half court, great play equipment nice nature trails. About 6 parking spaces.

A+, would party again. Rented for a third birthday party. The shelter is great (if chilly when its cold out), the picnic tables are movable to meet your needs (we put one in the sun), the grill is sizable and the playground/sand area are gigantic. Its not so great for the big kids (there is a basketball court back in the woods, though; you could make do) but its absolutely perfect for the toddler set. A gem of a small park in our neighborhood. Picnic shelter is reservable for $35/4 hours for Chapel Hill residents.

Very nice playground. Very secluded and quiet. It felt a little too secluded to be there alone with my kids. However, it would be wonderful for meetups with other parents and kids. Surrounded by beautiful woods and peaceful residential area.
