Really pretty and peaceful place. My 5 year old son caught 2 fish ( catch & release). I was happy there were several tables and porta potties there too.

I enjoy walking the mile around the lake during the social distancing. I love the outdoors and it raises your spirits. A beautiful place to exercise, fish, and picnic lakeside.

It has plenty of fun with the Spring River falls right next to it. Its a perfect place to picnic. Swim the falls and fish.A convenient store is across the highway making it nice for drinks food gas. There are a hotel and a motelAnd there is wild lifeThe geese right now have babies

This place is great disc golf, fishing and awesome pavilions. If only there were bathrooms and a walking bridge it would be prefect.

Nice, well kept lake area that has a river close in addition to a MO Conservation Department area that shows and explains how some plants and animals interact and what we can do to take care of them. The lake water-fountain is especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset. Good place, lots of area, to let children run around playing.

One of the worst Lakes I have ever been to!! In fact myself and some of the locals renamed the lake mistake lake the fishing is terrible from bank or on a boat and its shallow in spots you can hardly drive your boat across without dragging your prop...this lake needs redug and stalked constantly for it to ever be worth anything also would be nice to have a lake in this town we could swim in besides the polluted Spring river next door! And good faith I could not recommend this like to anyone not even for a walk from the fact that you might step in Goose manure seriously guys fix this mess of a lake more of a mud hole if you ask me.

Night time fishing has to be the best way to relax! My friend John Barker is a great fishing buddy. We have been teasing him about catching the legendary Barker Bass. Barker Bass is actually a garr! We have been catching garr, snapping turtles, leatherback turtles, flathead catfish, channel catfish, perch, carp, and even the real type of bass! It is THE BEST way to unwind after a long day of work.
