Loads to do for almost everyone, tons of equipment for the kids, different playground areas, different picnic areas, golf course is close, just a family friendly park!!

The park is clean and well kept. I play the golf course regularly and it is always in great shape. Its a challenging course which makes it a good day young or old. The folks there are very friendly and courteous. If you havent played this course put it on your list of to do.

Perfect venue for gender reveal‘s, barbecues ,family outings or just kick back and have lunch.

Empty liquor bottles and trash oin the ground. It used to be a beautiful park.

Great golf in the southwest part of Missouri

I absolutely love this park. The mini kiddo theme park they have is so much fun and such a cool idea. My niece never wanted to leave.

Played in later December and it was pretty good. Makes me think on a warm summer day I could give it 5 stars.

Carthage Municipal Park is a large beautiful area and is located next to its wonderful golf course. It is the perfect area for a family/class reunion with its multiple covered areas with picnic tables, or even childrens birthday parties as there is plenty to keep the kids busy for hours. If you have never been give it a shot next time you are planning an event. I am sure you wont be disappointed.

Great Park to take the kids with lots for them to do like swimming pools,skating rink, a small play area for the kids called kitty land whats an electric train for them to ride. Also a great place to have birthday parties with large gazebos among other things an all-around great Park very big

It has always been the first to pick for family reunions. The active playground makes it easy for the children to be entertain. And when the amusement park part is open its like taking the children to a carnival.in our own back yard.

Fun, clean swimming environment for children. Good price. Not much to do other than exactly that swim, tho. Other than a few diving boards. It was an alright public pool experience tho.

Weve held our last 2 family reunions at this beautiful, Scenic, Open, well-kept,Managed Park. Plenty of room(we usually have between 30-75 people) Nice Building to Eat, w/ restrooms, but just the perfect place to hold an event.Plenty of room for the little ones to run and play..Surrounded by beautiful Bradford Pear Trees, a Golf Course, and the Local Baseball Field. Im not from Carthage, my family is, and this is just truly a beautiful part of a beautiful city!

Celebrated nephews 1st birthday . Have several toddler seat swings, slides, and other traditional toddler parks. Also, had a train park with horse. . . . ..

A great park, this is where the roller skating rink is and the public pool. There is a playground and plenty of tables, pavillions. The baseball fields and golf course are also nearby as well.

People are just rude when youre there. You got a lot of bad vandalism written everywhere.

This is a great spot for families. And with the carousel right next to it, its definitely one of our favorite spots in the area.

My family was just asked to leave the pool today because the girls were wearing swimming athletic clothes with swimsuits underneath. At first it was explained to them as a safety issue, then after my girls said they were being modest they were told only boys could wear those clothes but not girls and that they could not swim. So as we were leaving I asked for our money back and was told no because the sign on the wall publicly stated swim clothes were required. So I asked why we couldnt swim then, since the swim clothes the kids were wearing met that requirement (all swimsuit materials purchased online). But nope only boys can wear swim athletic clothes. Bummer day!

Lots of space. Good playground equipment for the kids. A few places for picnicking.. playing soccer or flying a kite! Kiddieland is very affordable and fun for the kids. We always have our summer birthday parties here.

Wonderful place to have fun.We reserved a pavilion to have a family reunion.There are many activities there.....park,pool,golf course,baseball stadium, paved roads for jogging, kiddie rides, and playground equipment.

Great golf course, the staff was very nice and the grounds were very well maintained.

Had my grand daughters birthday party here two years now.. The bathrooms are open and the tables are under a carbana. Kids had a lot of fun and a lot of space to run and play.

Love the Kiddle Land open during the summer. 50 cent rides. Cant match that. Hope they update the pool though. Its boring. Rather drive to Joplin.

The public restrooms at the playground by the ball fields was locked, so we had to walk all the way up front so my daughter could use a restroom. Other than that we liked it here.

Clean, has public restrooms, great for kids of any age, has softball fields, is where cities annual fireworks display is, and where happier county youth fair is located at. Has a great golf course

Not to bad three different parks. Love Kiddie Land! .50 cents a ride great for the little kiddos and the train ride we just love it. As well as the pool has four different sized pools to suit everyone and you can rent it for a couple of hours after 6 for birthday partys I would do it just to have the pool all to ourselves! Lol Not to mention the skating rink and walking trails its a good place to spend the day on the weekends.
