Its something historical to see and its nice that theyve worked on it so it isnt falling apart. It is a good photo opportunity.

Small well manicured park with this giant statue of Tex Randall. Great places for photos but thats about it. The Mexican restaurant, El Patio, next door was good for dinner too.

This statue is pretty cool. Recently redone to fix it up & do away with the cigarette he used to hold. Great place to visit & take pictures as a tourist. Someone smacked the info screen .

Cute place to stop and take pictures. They had just had an anniversary there that Saturday and we visited that next day. The area was very clean and well manicured with pretty flowers around a nice walk way. One of more fun stops along our way across country to stretch our legs.

A must-see if youre on a Texas road trip. Plus it has a dog park right behind it for your doggo co-road tripper.

An iconic image greeting travels entering Canyon Texas heading East on Hwy 60. If you are lucky, youll find pigeons lining the entire length of the brim of his hat making it look somewhat Mariache. RRRRR, KaRumba!

Neat place but you cannot take photo of the full statue from the front unless you take it at an awkward angle. There are ~4 free parking spots.

It was a fabulous 60th birthday party for Tex Randall. There were all kinds of food vendors. Beer and sodas and free water courtesy of Happy Bank. The night ended with a fantastic concert by the Randall King Band. Wow what a show!!.

This might have started out as a simple Roadside Attraction, but everytime I see it it takes my breath away to think about the history behind it, that can be read on the plaque.
