Fantastic family pool. Plenty of shade and seating available. The lazy river is great for relaxing and the slides are nice for a little excitement.The best part about this aqua park is the affordable concessions. Got snacks for the whole family without mortgaging my soul. Professional lifeguards on duty to keep everyone safe. Great pool!

The Canyon Aqua Park had two nights designated for Special Needs individuals. The individuals had a blast and there was enough for everyone to get involved whether they could swim or just set in the zero entry area. The slides and lazy river were the biggest hit. I cant say enough about what fun and fellowship everyone enjoyed while at the Park. I highly recommend everyone going to participate or just watch either way you will enjoy your time at the park.

It was great. The only thing that was a bummer was that I couldnt bring in the water bottles I had filled with ice water so they would stay cold. But luckily I found some cash in my wallet once we were there so we could buy concessions. We will definitely be back!

My family of four was in Canyon for two days before hitting Palo Duro Canyon and found The CAP. The limited hours of the park and coinciding $5 entrance fee were perfect to see other things in the area while not feeling like you needed to spend all day there. The park is small but plenty to keep you busy for a few hours and cool off. Id recommend it even with 13 & 15 yr old boys!

Me & my family enjoyed it! Defiantly will be back soon.Was a lil upset wit the pizza orders & how long they take. But gives me an upside to know i have to order an hour in advance bfore i actually wanna eat.Other than that. Great experience! Thanks!

This is a nice little water park. The absolute smallest type of water park but still fun. Has the lazy river the larger style pool and then obviously the little kids area for them to run around. The foods overpriced and usually a long line to go with it. So just sneak your own snacks in

The pool was very clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. The baby had a really good time.

I live in Amarillo and purchased tickets online to go at the 4pm-7pm session. A bad hailstorm storm came through right before we were taking off and prevented me to go without jeopardizing my familys safety. I spoke to management about seeing if I could just use my tickets for the next day. They were completely uncooperative and uncompromising. Management basically said that if its clear skies over there and if Im not able to make it then tough luck. Apparently they dont care about the customers welfare when its something beyond both our control. They unfortunately have lost my business during a very difficult time to lose business and I will be a referring friends and family to other locations. Tough luck.

Great family water park. Geared really for the 3 to 10 year old range I feel. Great price on admission ($8 per person as of June 2019) and pretty affordable snacks too ($6 for a combo meal of hot dig, chips, drink) Not much to offer the teenage crowd other than a lazy river and diving pool.

Love love love the CAP! Tons of parking, lifeguards are stationed everywhere, and are super attentive, plenty of seating inside and a variety of things for all ages. Splash pad and splash pool for littles, lazy river, slides, lap pool, diving boards, cheap concession food. They provide life vests for those that need floaties, and will check all bags that enter the premises so make sure you leave all food/drinks in the car!

I was told by an employee I had to purchase tickets online then I told him Im not very good online purchases so I asked him would hed be willing to walk me through the online purchase in person then he came up saying that their online purchase was down so I felt she was not trying to help me through the process never been to that water park before I am from Wisconsin but inconvenience experience

My only complaint is that they are not offering locker rentals at the moment due to covid 19.

Great place to get out and cool off

On the bright side it is clean. The park is super strict and limits the customers fun. This is a perfect daycare. They need to open up a daycare not run a waterpark.

Great for kids of all ages. Splash pad was accessible and fun. Bigger slides are fun, not a long wait at all. Lazy river was short and a little crowded.

I would give it five stars if they had annual passes.

Clean and safe.

Canyon Aqua Park is a great place. It isnt huge and it is easy to locate your kids without a major search. The staff is friendly and provide a lot of supervision.

The manager at this park will make comments to your face and gather the life guards around him . Then he will glare ,pout,and act like the teenagers he manages. If you have a concern or complaint expect to be treated very poorly. There are several complaints just like mine on here and I recommend the other pools or water parks around this area.

Not a very big park but we had fun. The concession stand ran out of everything so I asked for quarters so I could get back into my locker. I gave them $10 asked for $2 in quarter they gave me $6 in bills and $2 in quarters. It took my wife arguing for 5 minutes with two different people to get my other $2 back.

Fun,great family environment ,different water areas to have fun,and the life guards were great they stayed focus on there area making sure people were safe. Great job

Good clean place to have a birthday party. We did wait about 40 minutes before they could give us our wristbands so we lost a lot of party time. .but I think we were theor first party so I understand. Nice and clean and lots of lifeguards. They have life jackets of all sizes for everyone. Party spot was nice and spacious. I will go back again.

So much fun! The kids had a blast and so did we!

We went into the park a little after they opened. The kids got hungry so we went to the park next to eat to eat some sandwiches and when we returned we were told we had to wait in line because they reached their cap. We asked to go in and get our stuff that was still inside. We were followed around as if we were criminals. Asked to speak to the manager and he told us we were more than welcome to get back in line but we would not get our money back. If they know their limit is 600 why sell more than that amount is my question. We have been to waterparks everywhere and this is by far the worst one. Will never come back and would not recommend this place to anyone. And honestly I am not one to give bad reviews but this time I felt I had to let everyone know about the rude staff and over priced place. The one in pampa is way better and they are friendlier.

Kids had a good time here, so did us grown ups. Nice lazy river, fun slides, great kid splash area. The snack bar is super cheap and really delish. They have the best liquid cheese ever! My chili dog was amazing! $8 a person over 3 is a great price, we would return for sure!

Great place for a great price! Clean and not too crowded, its a great way to beat the summer heat for kids of all ages. They wouldnt allow us to bring in bottles water, but the concession stand prices are very reasonable. We cant wait to go back.

1st time at park..great! Crowded but not overcrowded.price for all water activities is well worth it! Lots of canopies & lounge chairs, even grass area. Well b back!

Very very busy, but otherwise a decent park

I came with both my kids and wanted to use their big pool for swimming. Thats what the pools are for, right? Wrong. I was told I couldnt use that pool as its reserved for diving only. They only allowed 1/5 of the pool for water games and swimming. It should be the other way around as divers dont need that much space. Not even half of the diving area was actually used.

The layout is fantastic, the rides appeal to all ages, and the concession prices were completely reasonable, not to mention the price of admission… $8!This was a great place to break up our four nights stay at Palo Duro Canyon. Kids had a blast! Im not going to deny it I did too! The place is small but for $8 per person ages 3 on up dont expect a theme park! Price is decent! Place was pretty packed today I got there around 3pm so it was kind of hard to find a shaded seat. Other than that pretty cool little aquatic park.

Best little water park close to Amarillo

Nice place a little expensive for a family of 5. Especially when you cant take in a cooler to help feed your kids. But for a once a year treat it is alright.

This park has a great area set up at the lazy river over looking the kids play area. Decent size pools and lazy river. Two slides for your enjoyment. The pool can at time become very crowded.

Its ok to get out of the sun. Little boring for middle and older children. More of a little kids water park.

We had a great time. Lots of life gaurds and lots of different things to do. They had plenty of life jackets and lots of stuff for the little ones and for kids that dont swim yet!

This is a really neat place and there is a playground right next door that is pretty nice! But it was a little too crowded for my taste, and there were NO available chairs. I was a little disappointed that it wasnt more little kid friendly. My son is almost one and the splash pad lead right into the kiddy pool that got way too deap too fast for him to play in. It is geared more towards 5+ years old kiddos. I think we will have a lot of fun there in a few years, or on less crowded pool days!

Loved it makes it so much better they have one in canyon and not expensive at all we have been driving to pampa so glad we have one closer.

Rude management that unfairly applies subjective rules, body shaming men and women that don’t fit his opinions if normal.The pool is nice but the staff manager is rude and rules are applied in a random subjective manner. I was wearing a Euro still trunk and was asked to wear my shorts over them, when asked I for an explanation I was told no speedos. These a clearly Trunks and much larger than a speed. They by far cover more than all of the bottom; women wear similar sized shorts in and out of the pool. At no point was I told what was an acceptable length of trunk but he decided my trucks were too small.At the same time, he had 2 female staff members tell my wife that her bottoms were also unacceptable and too revealing. My wife’s swim bottoms were a traditional tie side bikini. There were at least 10-15 women wearing similar bottoms. When she asked for specific they said it was a sting bikini and they where not allowed. When questioned further for a clarification they said they where just too revealing and that she had to put on short. She came in with denim shorts, now my wife and I both had to get out of the pool to change.At this point it was more important for 4 life guards to question swimwear than to watch for pool safety. So now my boys who love the water but are not good swimmers have no one to swim with them. So we where forced to leave, both my boys (6 and 7) left in tears not understanding why the life guards are telling them they can’t get in the pool.The manager refused to talk to my wife and only had staff talk to her once he pulled me a side. At this point we both felt very attached. My attire met the rule yet the current manger, Andrew, did not like or know how to define them and did not meet his definition of normal so he decided it single me out then my wife as well to be cruel. So men can’t wear tunks that do meet his arbitrary and subjective definition. At no point could he define acceptable for me or her and when or how the rules would applied.We both felt that we where being attacked and body shamed. Miserable experience, a public pool funded by the city should not discriminate.

Fun, my only complaint was the weather the day we went.
