This is the jewel of lake lanier recreation, lots to do, oriented for boaters and landlubbers, pricey but still good value considering quality and variety. Beach sand is a good coarness. Arcade and rides across the street. Movies at night. Easy to spend the whole day

We had so much fun riding through and looking at the lights. Also, make sure you stop at the end and go snow sledding. This is going to be a new family tradition for us every year.

Hadnt been since I was a kid, but the water was peaceful and beautiful for a late night ride with my family.

Wanted to just go to Margaritaville for dinner and a few drinks. Be prepared to pay $10.00 per person entrance fee. Ridiculous! No military discount. Looks like a very nice place from the outside. Very clean and well maintained. A lot of packing. Thry do run a shuttle service for folks who have a hard time walking .

Expensive parking. Ni boat sleap so pay once drop boat on ramp neer by and pay again to get to island and pay again to dock at margaritaville.....

The park was a lot of fun, but it was pretty pricey.

We go to Nights of Lights every year. one of the things we enjoy are the arcade rides and roasting marshmallows. The Snow Mountain was fun for the kids. We went on Thanksgiving night and it wasnt very crowded at all.

Not worth the $46 admission price. Very limited seating, very few rides. Beach is good and wave pool is fun when they actually gave waves going. Never seen a waterpark without a lazy river. Do yourself a favor and go to whitewater instead

Our boys had a blast as did we!! So clean and well maintained, well staffed with utmost attention to safety. We visited on memorial day and expected a hit of a mess to be honest, but it was great!! The boys even got to meet a retired NFL football player at the wave pool!

Really a nice place to visit with the family and enjoy a long vacation because you got to rent boat in there and get in the water with your family awesome plus you got Hotel there to stay

Had a lot of fun. Was busy even though if was off season. Cant imagine what it would be like in season! Lots to do. Lots to see!

The rest of the Margaritaville was fine and fun for my family. Although putting my child’s stroller up and down the long stretch of stairs is where they lose points. They should have a handicap ramp

Great fun

My family and I really enjoyed the water park. Lots of different slides, unfortunately my 5 year old was slightly short for most of them. Maybe next year. They do have a little kids section which he enjoyed. They also have a beach where my son built sand castles. A little pricey but you can always find discounts online in the beginning of the season. Will definitely go back.

Great experience, but kinda pricey

We toured the Magical Nights of Lights, absolutely beautiful. It had rides for kids/adults and a manmade beach. I purchased no food. People roasted marshmallows around the fire, too. The park and restrooms were very clean, lots of seating areas.

This year has been a horrible year for the islands.There were weekends we went and bathrooms werent working at all there is only a small space to swim in the lake that is usually packed and uncomfortable. They have kid jump houses and one had a hole in the back. My 3 kids and I have season water park passes and parking pass but prefer to pay $5 and go to old federal to swim and play. However, the past few years were better so I give a 3 in hopes that they are better prepared for next summer.

The lake is clean. Its fun with many eateries and activities. A warning is that its not built with middle class working families in mind. Its sooooo expensive. Parking is around $20. Then you have to pay for entry which comes to about $30 per person, then food is an additional $20 per person. If you rent a boat or a jet ski, thats $200... if you dock your boat at sunset cove, thats another $20. Go get off your boat and enter sunset cove is another $10 per person... its ridiculous. So a trip to lake Lanier for a family of four can easily run $500. Its a fun experience, but I dont go much as everything is ridiculously expensive.

Beautiful and Quiet place

Great place to enjoy Lake Lanier. Lots of activities and gorgeous views of the lake. You have to pay to enter the facilities.

Great water park! A lot of fun for kids and adults. But water in the lake on that side in not clear,because is a lot of boats there. And you have to pay for car $15 when you enter to Lanier island and next to water park ffor each person and kids from 2y.o. For big families is expensive

I feel that for the rides and attractions available the admission price of $49.00(tax included) is a bit steep. Basically its an expensive day at the giant wave pool...and 6 slides.

The place is really cool, but the stuff they’re mad all the time if you need help they just stay looking at you like if nothing is happening!!

What could be better about this lake? The pricing. Entry at $15 plus paying additonal fees for each and every little area within the park. For a murky beach and questionable safety, Id hope to see those dollars being spent wisely. How about cleaning the bathrooms guys?

So much fun for the whole family! Plan to spend a minimum of 4 hours here if you want to ride everything at least once.

It was super awesome to watch the Falcons 1st season game from the water on a mega screen with great sound projection!

Really really fun. There are resturants and food pavillions, bars, and alcohol is served. My son and I loved it but it is expensive, which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. We got buy 1 get 1 tickets through promotion.

Ive lived in gwinnett county for 3 yrs and I cant lie, I was skeptical about this place. Most man-made beaches are average or underwhelming... This is totally different. My family & I Loved this place. We really felt like we were on a vacation. They have waterparks, restaurants, tents you can rent to stay shaded & the lake beach, felt like a normal beach. Which is a plus because the closest real beach is 4-5 hours away, while lake lanier is only 30 minutes away. This is definitely somewhere well visit again in the summer when were in swim mode.

So much fun with so many amazing rides you dont find else where, plus the lines were a lot better than anywhere Ive been, atleast on the Monday that I went there, would definitely recommend!

We bought season passes this year went the first two days and am extremly unhappy about all the dog crap on the beach right along the waterline is that even sanitary?? This is a waterpark pets should not be allowed at all!!!!

The rides seem a bit outdated and dangerous i fell off my raft on one of the rides towards the end . my son and husbands raft went so high up on the wall had it gone faster and a little higher they would have went over the wall watching it scared me too death.
