Both the tour of the woods and building was great, the tour guide was also very knowledgeable when she explained how watershed worked and how the main building was made out of various recycled parts. On top of that the Treetop Quest was amazing especially the various ziplines they had. Overall our class had a great time over there and you would be putting your money to good use.

On this day I was more about visiting the trails than visiting the Environmental Center, but the Environmental Center is good, too. The trails around the Center are beautiful. There are the main paved trails and then dozens of little side trails all over the place. I didnt explore all of the trails, but I will definitely be back for more!

Great place to explore nature, but I had a rather haunting experience at the old house they recently moved to their grounds. I encountered a spirit/ghost yelling “POGGERS!” at me. I have no clue what that means.. I guess it’s a slur from the 1800s.

What a lovely place for a wedding! My cousin had a wedding there which at first seemed to be an unusual place for a wedding! Lol! However the location was perfect there was an area for the actual ceremony and then a separate area for the reception. They had an electronic welcome sign with their name on it...... the star feature at this location was the indoor waterfall equipped with lighting to display their monogram! Wow! This is the perfect wedding venue for a small two medium-sized wedding!

I really liked this place, but there are so many things out of order or missing or not working. Maybe because its free now? The trails are nice and we found the dinosaurs. Ask at the visitor center for a trail map. The lady at the desk was so kind enough to mark the map where we could find them.

If you are looking for a fun place to walk or entertain the little ones, you will like this place. There are lots of paved trails. The exhibits indoors are free and fun for the kids. Also there is some interesting stuff if you are into history. Dont forget to walk around the restored local homestead located on the property.

The property is beautiful with great trails. I have been there for an event and my daughters school has used the location for end of grade testing. They offer summer camps for kids and other activities that are great to learn about the environment. The learning center is full of great information about Gwinnett and North Georgia history.

Fantastic variety of walking trails, bit of elevation change should you choose it, and a LOT of squirrels. Just remember to pay attention to the maps and where youve parked, as these trails go pretty deep in different directions. For new residents and visitors: I would not recommend starting later into the evening, as it may get dark before you make your way back. The park goes by a water treatment facility, under a major highway and interstate, and by a LOT of apartment communities. Will add reviews later if go to other parts of the facility.

Weve been to the treetop quest over there before but Ive never been over to the Environmental Heritage Center. My kids enjoyed hunting for the dinosaurs out on the trails and there were even costumes for them to dress up then sit on the dinosaur nest. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Theyve just changed pricing (I think they said in September) to free for Gwinnett residence. The environmental side had cool experiments that kept both a 7 year old and a 3 year old entertained for almost an hour. They have more stuff coming soon and I cant wait to see what they do with it. I would post more pictures but I dont post pictures of my kids and I wouldnt want to spoil the surprises if youre able to make it out for this display.

What a gem in Gwinnett County! We got gift passes for Christmas and were very pleased with the experience. They have a water exhibit and Blue Planet movie inside; both are great for kids and adults of all ages. There is also a rotating exhibit room. We saw the interactive electricity exhibit and really enjoyed it. Educator was available to answer any questions and do crafts with the kids. Looking forward to visiting in warmer weather so we can explore the miles of walking trails! We are lucky to have this in bustling Gwinnett!

The kids learned about different types of trees not to eat anything out of the woods. They were able to stop and dig up the dirt to what they could fine. Decent hiking for people with limited mobility or parents with a stroller. However, the wide, paved path means less shade. Also, the fire ants were swarming and actually climbing our shoes and socks. I dont mean in one location; I mean over 70% of the trail. 3-stars because of the ants.
