Took the B side tour (like the B-side of an LP!) and it was an awesome tour! Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Marc is passionate and extremely knowledgeable and clearly cares for his city. We rode for about 2.5 hours and Marc was engaging and in depth with each stop- I learned so much about the rich history of Buffalo from 400 years ago to present day! There were songs and even a poetry reading. Safe, engaging, informative and FUN. 10 out of 10! I will be going back for the other tours!

Mark was friendly and communicated with me well. He was able to extend the time I rented the bike for no fee I had a great ride and went kayaking right after! Definitely will do it again.

Totally enjoyed this historical bike tour. Mark was a delight & charming. Filled with trivia & love for his city & people.The ride was not strenuous. Don’t remember any hills. Felt safe with the traffic. Husband & I are in our 50’s and did great.

I had to go Buffalo for a week for work, in my opinion, the best way to experience a new city is by bicycle. After going to the gobikebuffalo website I found Buffalo Bike Tours info. Quick response to my inquiry about a bike and set up an appointment later in the day with Mark the owner. Later in the day there was a unfortunate mechanical issue with the bike I rented, I quickly reached out to Mark and within 45 minutes, Mark had delivered a replacement bike to where I was at!!! Rose above the call of duty and if I’m ever in Buffalo for work again (weather permitting) I will definitely be renting from Mark and buffalo bike tours again.

Good historical research. Very entertaining and LOTS of great food. The riding pace was moderate and slow enough to see the sights. I found this to be a great tour for tourists and locals who are looking for something fun and educational to do in Buffalo.

What a fantastic time we had with Mark touring Buffalo on a bike! We had so much fun learning about Buffalo’s rich history- women’s suffrage, African American history, architecture, world’s fair, the Pan Am games, and about William McKinley/Teddy Roosevelt and much more. We were able to ask questions. I would highly recommend if you want to see the beauty of Buffalo on bike! Great time! Will definitely do it again when I return.

We rented bikes and did a self tour. It was an amazing experience and the app that they have developed is awesome! It was very good at navigating us along the tour and gave us really interesting facts about what we were seeing around us. I highly recommend!

Buffalo Bike Tours was an incredible way to visit Buffalo. We did the Buffalo History tour and learned so much about the history of Buffalo. We could not have done this by foot. Too many places and to much distance to cover. Our group included people over 50 and under 15. All had a great time. The best thing is you can get around without having to climb many hills. Most of the roads we biked were flat and easy to maneuver on. We would highly recommend Buffalo Bike Tours to when visiting Buffalo. Great time had by all.

All around excellent experience! We came to NY to do the falls and wanted to Bike around some as well. We contacted Mark to setup rentals and he was super flexible and accommodating since we wanted to take the bikes out of the city. We didnt do any of the tours offered but just in the short amount of time talking I learned so much about the Buffalo and its history. Mark really knows his stuff!

We biked the self guided Waterfront tour. We appreciated the route, the GPS directions, and the audio information and history about places along the way. It was nice that the bike lanes were ample and cars/traffic were not a concern. We look forward to biking another route.

This is a fabulous idea for a day out!! We may drive by all these sights, but how often do you stop to enjoy them? Our self guided tour took us from Canalside to Delaware Park and the kids were able to see and hear about so many interesting parts of our Queen City. I strongly recommend taking a day and enjoying a nice bike ride through the city. The app tells you where to go and you can move along at your own pace. So appreciative for Buffalo Bike Tours to have this set up for us!

Had a wonderful time renting bikes and taking part in the self guided tours for my birthday! Tour guide Marc was super nice and was really helpful answering all of my questions and setting myself and my girlfriend up with some nice bikes for the day. Had a great time and will definitely be back for the guided tours!

My daughter and I used the app to do a self-guided tour of the waterfront loop. We really enjoyed it. The directions were very easy to follow and the history information was great.

Super fun self guided tours using an easily downloadable app. Directions are really clear, routes are interesting and varied, and chock full of interesting information. Highly recommend these if you have a free couple of hours.

We were visiting friends in Buffalo and I found Buffalo Bike Tours as the top rated food tour in town. We chose the Wing Tour and had a great time. We had numerous plates of wings, everything from traditional, to Korean, sweet, Japanese, wings w/ mac & cheese ..etcMarc has a great knowledge of the history of Buffalo wings, as well as the history of Buffalo, architecture, historical politics, and much more.We were stuffed at the end of 3 hours with great food and a variety of local beers.This is a great trip, easily worth the time and low cost. Next trip we will try some of Marcs other tours.

Scheduled the Wing Tour with Marc when COVID-19 canceled our existing 40th birthday party plans and we are so happy we did! It was a bit more challenging with most businesses not open for indoor seating yet, however Marc made the experience super memorable and we were still able to experience Buffalos wings and surrounding area in a totally unique way. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and learned quite a bit about the Buffalo history that we didnt know about. The pop up ukelele songs were fantastic, the wings were amazing and the weather was perfect! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a new way to look and taste Buffalo! Once restaurants are fully open again, we may just make the trip back out to experience it again! Thank you to Marc for making this 40th birthday one to remember!

We just went on our third tour with Buffalo Bike Tours and weve thoroughly enjoyed every tour (B-Sides, East-meets-West food ride, and now the Haunted Buffalo Ride). This time we brought the kids along (3 teenagers) and they loved it. It was a bit far but reasonably paced. As always, the stories were super interesting. I loved the addition of actors telling the stories at each stop and then they joined in the ride!

We did the B/Sides tour on the weekend and it was the highlight of our trip to Buffalo! Marc is an amazing guide and we appreciate the amount of research and sensitivity he brought to his role. This ride was the perfect mix of information, entertainment, art, and history. We cant wait to return next year to do a food tour! Thank you, Marc.

Great bike tour! You see so much of the city in this tour. Marc is great! Very knowledgeable. Bikes are comfortable, and the route was the perfect length for a city tour!

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour with Marc and the rest of our group for the day. It was great to see the many different neighbourhoods and sights in Buffalo that I had missed on previous visits. Traveling around by bike while getting Marcs stories and commentary definitely gave me a better understanding of the city. On top of all of that the food stops were all excellent and each provided unique flavours. The bikes provided were in great shape and made for a comfortable ride. I will definitely check out another one of their tours next time I am in Buffalo and I would highly recommend them to anyone visiting or living in the city!

I loved this experience. It was amazing to feel like a tourist in my own town. I have lived here my whole life and have never seen the city as beautifully as I did today. Totally recommend the tour. Marc was wonderful, had a great sense of humor and was super accommodating when we scheduled!!This is something you must do! And no worries if you don’t ride often, I haven’t been on a bike in a couple years!

My husband was working in Buffalo for the day so I was looking for something to do for myself. Ive never been to Buffalo and was curious to learn about it. Marc was scheduled to be in Canada for the day but kindly arranged for Dan to show me around. Im so grateful for that gesture and to Dan who took the time out of his day off to give me a personalized tour. We hit up beautiful sights, landmarks, parks and homes. I cannot express how much I learned about the city and now I see it in a new light. The photos and maps that Dan brought with us enhanced my imagination. A friend organized a large group of long time Buffalonians to do the Sunday morning tour. We all had a great time. Mark, our guide did an awesome job of presenting the B-Side of Buffalo through stories, poetry, and song. Whether you are a local or a visitor to Buffalo you will not be disappointed!
