I think this is not really a park or a trail, but some kind of tax dodge/buffer zone to keep the neighborhood with all the mansions separate from the riff raff. Just a small wooded section consisting of some young, scrubby looking trees.Anyway, I think theres nothing wrong with going to have a look and a walk around. Not much of a destination for its own sake, but if youre nearby, go have a look see.

There is a sign that indicates the Sargent Beechwood Nature Walk. It is unclear though where the trail leads and on a hot, muggy summer eve, the place is overrun by mosquitoes. No aggressive dogs were encountered but the bugs were enough to make me turn around. On the plus side, I encountered a couple of deer!

This place is a mystery to us. The approaches seem to be all private roads. We need someone to show us how to access the public area which we failed to find. The atmosphere was forbidding. The message was: commoners stay out.

Its a beautiful place,made accessible to the public by a private trust of the very unwelcoming and unfirendly individuals who live in the private non-gated $$$$$ enclave.the pond has publi access that is not very clearly indicated so you may mistakenly end up on a private road and will be chastised by the locals who do not want commoners on their street.With that said, if you do find the public access way -turn left before the private road begins - it is a gorgeous little spot to walk around.Too bad all that is diminished by the people living around it.

You dont know if its private or public. Was attacked by a dog. Beware.

This place doesn’t exist. There are just private homes and yards on both sides of the street. And apparently aggressive dogs, according to the other reviewer. However, there is a little trail elsewhere in this neighborhood, which goes around Sargent Pond and through the woods. That trail doesn’t come by this location.

Great respite with Nature!!
