It’s a beautiful, divine spot to enjoy a calm and peaceful one-mile walk or jog. There’s adorable ducks enjoying the water and some truly wonderful views in a serene atmosphere. There were, however, far too many inconsiderate jerks walking the wrong way and not even wearing masks altogether, ignoring safety measures and endangering everyone else. But, known as Baby Bear Lake by some of the other wonderful locals, this wonderful spot cannot be ruined by the minority of selfish people.

Beautiful place! Especially in the fall... Wish I could go more often. Highly would recommend going for a photo shoot or engagement photos.

A newly renovated park/pond area. Very nice to walk/run around, or have an impromptu picnic. Its OK for fishing as well, especially with kids, but dont expect to catch any big fish.

Beautiful well kept park. Not too crowded, I went during the week and took some great pics. And the view is outstanding.

Nice park. Is great for walking and running. They added more benches.A lot of gees. Unfortunately irresponsible people leave they dog dropping and they dont pick it up same areas are bad. No bathroom too.

Its a beautiful walk on a gravel path. Finally its opened after recent renovation. Love it.

Very nice place to go for a walk

It is wonderful to have the Reservoir available again. The area looks beautiful. I had a great visit with a dear friend. People were enjoying their walks. Lots of greetings, head nods, waves, friendly eyes. Everyone was wearing a mask & social distancing.

It is a pleasure to walk on something other than asphalt. Good job after renovations.

Nice walk. Good for jogging. Some areas might be usable for a picnic. There are a lot of geese there and limit activities due to droppings.

It’s a fantastic and beautiful place to enjoy beautiful views and lovely ducks. I just wish the aggravating, selfish, disgusting people who are too special to wear a mask or follow the direction of the walking path would leave and stop endangering the public.

Beautiful serene place to take a stroll. There is no biking or skating, so you are not rushed. The pond is surrounded by a wonderful diversity of trees and shrubs. There are benches placed around the entire reservoir. There is free parking around the reservoir. I would advise anyone visiting, to remember that there are private homes surrounding the reservoir. Please be respectful.

The reservoir is flanked all around by beautiful cherry blossom trees! Great place to fish, jog, walk and enjoy the blossoms in early to mid May! Went on Mothers Day and weather was beautiful! parking can be challenging.

Too many peek a boo types if you get what I mean. I have small children so its a no for bringing the kids.

A nice place to walk, jog, and play Pokémon Go but way too many geese and their droppings.

Decent place for walking and jogging. We also went there fishing a few times and caught 2 sun fish.

This reservoir has a walking path around it, with plenty of spots to cast a line for some fish. I dont believe I have ever seen one reeled in but its a nice spot for in town recreation. You can easily walk to it from the brookline hills stop on the green line.

This time of the year you cant beat it multi colors greens gold yellows everything and the water background I recommend a visit highly

One of my favorite places for walking around Brookline and one of the few where you can be sure of getting any Sunshine there is to be had. We always stop and linger against the old stone walls of the pump house which get warmed by the Sun and whose Stone arches provide protection from the wind so you can really soak in the rays. A great winter walking spot.

Nice place to jog, walk and enjoy the blossoms in April to May. Beautiful cherry blossom trees. Friends came to visit me... We all went there to enjoy the cherry blossoms and it was really an awesome experience. The weather was nice and that pink color was mind blowing. But getting 5 parking spaces at a time is really hard.

Nice little walk in the center of Brookline. Route 9 is right there and a bit loud, but nice little 15 minute stroll.

Love walking, not crowded, easy to park. Path is soft gravel not cement or tarred.

A fun walk since you can see the full size of the reservoir. A sense of accomplishment. Also, quieter than some other spots.

The Brookline Reservoir is a beautiful, peaceful oasis with a well-maintained gravel path, many benches, and lovely trees and shrubs which flower through the spring and summer. There is also lots of interesting wildlife including muskrats, fish, different species of ducks, geese of course, sometimes other birds like herons and swans. Its a great place to walk your dog or pet other peoples dogs.

Beautiful loop in Brookline. Everyone keeps to themselves. No public restroom that Ive seen. Usually enough parking on the street. Other than Rt 9 nearby, its a quiet area.

Great for walks or jogs. Good place for Pokemon Go. The reservoir is stocked with fish. The path is packed clay, so wear appropriate shoes. There are no public restrooms. Lots of noise from the traffic on Rt. 9. Lots of benches for taking a break and watching the water.

A quite beautiful water reservoir surrounded by a good walking/jogging path. The path is sourounded by various trees and greens. There are benches to sit and ducks to watch in the water. Very peaceful.

Great place for a walk or a run. You can come here and just sit and take in the atmosphere. Very relaxing. Theres a decent amount of street parking because its not a very highly trafficed area.

I like it so much

Very peaceful walk around the reservoir, especially when the leaves are turning colors in the fall. The gravelly/rocky path is a little annoying though - rain can cause ruts in it and it gets your shoes dusty when its hot and dry.

Truly a soft spot in my heart, being originally from Brookline. We have a memorial bench there, dedicated to my parents, George and Dorothy Cunniff.

The Res as I call it is a tranquil Retreat for me. Whether to just lay in the sun on grassy terrain, walk, or just chill its my favorite place throughout the year to get away from the hustle & bustle of city noise et. The Reservoir offers mirror- like Images of surrounding trees & georgous Sunsets anytime of the year. Mostly, I enjoy the sound of Birds & Families of Geese as well as Ducks swimming in the water. People fish and families frolic, many picnic. Ive also enjoyed watching my Son doing Yoga on the grass. Two suggestions I have are to Install Portisans & for the Town of Brookline to trim the Grass & clean the Goose Poop! Susan
