Highly recommend. Great hike with lots to see, sculptures are from all over the world. Did this with two 11yr old boys. They loved it. Parking was easy. They have picnic areas as well. Trailhead starts as an incline and continues through out the trail. Summit is found once you see the large blue skatepark sculpture.

What a hidden gem! Beautiful area hidden in Brookline, NH site of a former ski area and quarries. Quite a few winding trails leading you around to various unique sculptures and art, up a good 400 + vertical climb to the top. Near the bottom and parking are several abandoned quarries, complete with large spoil piles and some sculptures woven in. Great hike in the winter too (no leaves). Free, and you can donate. Some of the art is absolutely magnificent. Give it a try some weekend!

The installations are great and varied- something for everyone. The walking/hiking trails are accessible for a variety of levels of experience. The down side is that the maps and trails are not clearly labeled so come prepared to either wander and not necessarily follow a particular trail or to be patient in trying to follow the map. Donation boxes can be found at the parking lot and at the artist studio. Donations are suggested but not required.

Nowhere else does international art combine so magically with natural ecology. Each year the inventory increases by sculptures created by invited guests. This whole miniature mountain greets the hiker with delightful surprises as you follow the nature trails from bottom to top and back. That there is free parking and no admission is almost too good to believe.

The parking situation was a bit hectic but perhaps it was just because of the day and time we had visited. You can spend all day here trying to walk all the trails or you can break it up into sections and come back at another time. Some of the trails are nice easy and flat where others are fairly steep (for walkers, not hikers). But of course, my opinion is the best art is on the harder trails. Great for a family fun day outdoors that has pretty open trails. There is always something fun to find here!

Visited on a promotional filming assignment. Spent time with and interviewed John Weidman who was not only giving of his time, but also completely personable. I couldnt have left more impressed. John is a master of what he does and he made us all feel perfectly welcome to be getting to know not only him but the sculptures around the area and the process that goes into the annual symposium. Very much looking forward to returning in the fall!

Wonderful place! Many trails to choose from. Their online map provides details as to how long you should expect to be on the trail and the level of difficulty. The map was a little hard to follow, but you will eventually find your way! Some of the trails were more difficult than their rating lead them on to be (the easy trails being more difficult than the moderate at times). Sculptures were beautiful and were hidden gems in the forest.

Climbed the hill taking the less steep bunny trail up to the very top where the benches are for the view to the west with the phoenix in the foreground. We then made our way back down zigging and zagging across the hill as we walked the terraces taking in the sculptures. At the end took a shortcut down one of the mountain bike trails. We loved some of the sculptures, others perplexed us, but all got us thinking. A few of the signs explaining the works were faded but for the most part we could read what the artist wanted to convey. Some of the trail signs were so faded we couldnt read them but we pretended to be water and just headed down hill to the parking lot. There is a porta potty at the parking lot at the bottom. You want to bring water to drink in warmer months as we didnt see any be place to get water at the top. The road going up was closed by a gate so to do this park you will need to be able to go uphill and uphill and uphill; very small kids and older folks who huff and puff may want to do something else. Kids five and up will be fine and some energetic four year olds are likely fine as well. Fun afternoon!

This is a great area to go for a walk and explore outside. The map is pretty helpful although some of the markers on it didnt seem to match up with the actual placement locations for some of the sculptures. This was fine since all the sculptures are marked so it was easy to figure out orientation once we came across a sculpture. The sculptures are all interesting and thought-provoking. This area is suitable for all ages although some of the terrain may be challenging for persons with disabilities or strollers.
