My wife is from the area, and she suggested that we bring our kids there on a beautiful January Sunday to ice skate. My eldest was not keen on doing this, but after seeing his brother and I skating decided to join in. They have plenty of the rigid plastic guides for off-rink skating and learning and that was the bonus for them to get them warmed up. Very family friendly, good pricing, plenty of skates to rent, and its entirely outdoors (which is best on a sunny day). Enjoy the mild winter we are having! Great music to skate to, as well.
Its a nice big park suited for all sorts of outdoor activities. Great for enjoying a sunny day outside. Theres a playground, a ballpark, picnic tables, the Auto Museum, short hiking trails and, a hill tall enough to get a view of the Boston skyline. Be advised, the park is very popular and gets crowded. If you are hoping to take pictures by the pond and the Temple of Love gazebo be prepared to wait in line.
Great community garden worth a walk through. Placid pond with gazebo. Very chill environment with everyone gathered. I love this place!
Wide open urban park. Well maintained. There is a pleasant mulch trail around the outer edge. Plentiful parking.
Beautiful park. I really enjoyed spotting atop the hill and just taking in the sun. This is also a perfect place to socially distance. We spent a few hours just sitting on the hill with our dog and loved every moment.
Wonderful park. Very clean. Was a bit crowded but majority had masks and maintained physical distancing.
Great place to relax. Great park now you watch for dog poop on your walk
A nice area to have a picnic and take a nice walk. There is also a nice pond with fish frogs and turtles.
Remembered this spot from skating at the rink years ago. Happened to pull in in the afternoon. Views from the top of the park, very relaxing, brought a chair and listened to some music. Nice day!!!
I enjoyed this park. The short path was great. My son loved walking around with our two dogs. And its clean. I didnt come across any dog poop.
This place is awesome. Little hidden gem that I am always surprised by how many people have never been. Great spot for a date, great spot for a run, great spot for a chill session, great spot for the family, great spot for a dog or other walkable animal. If you havent been able to tell yet... Larz Anderson Park is great
Cool place definitely go here. Nice for a stroll, good ballfield, ice skating rink. Check out the bicycles and cars in the auto museum if its open! Sadly inaccessible by public transportation, biking, or walking, as it is thronged by high speed roads and fences for acres on every side, but bikeable if youre willing to brave it!
Most beautiful manicured park in Boston, I think. 18th century European charm....like jumping on a plane and exploring France or Italy.
The park is just a great place for picnics and relaxing! It’s so beautiful and clean!
Nice park, it was perfect for picnics with lot of space.
Big field, nice shaded playground, swings, and a small pond. Not great for long walks.
A beautiful and quiet park. It has great scenery and lots of places to picnic and rest and barbeque. The barbeque is closed for now because of the pandemic situation.
Great park for taking a walk, run. Kids love the playground. Also has convenient parking and restrooms.
An awesome spot for a picnic, a walk with your dog, or to just hang out. The Museum is pretty cool and in the winter the skating rink is a great price for some local outdoor skating. One of the best views of the city from one of the highest points in the area. The sunsets are awesome to watch here and the way the sun rays reflect off of the skyscrapers is really cool. I really recommend this spot!
Well maintained park overlooking the Boston skyline. Fantastic garden and sweet playground and fields for kids to run around in.
Great expanse for a great walk.
Great view of Boston from the hilltop, well kept grounds and a lot of space for flying kites, a catch, and picnics!
This park is perfect for flying kites!
Cool park to walk around, have a nice barbeque, etc. Also a nice car museum
Some of the best climbing trees around!
Big open field, nice playground and close to the auto museum
Clean, spacious, great views of Boston. Nice picnic spots. Covered picnic table area. Koi fish add swans to see at the ponds. Nice playground. A great park with something for everyone.

Nice place to visit with family. Good playground with the shade of trees. For walking, it is well managed. Not crowded.
The perfect place to get married!!
Very beautiful and photogenic park which has a handy gazebo. Very friendly for kids, dogs, and families. Need a car to get there most conveniently because its not particularly close to any train stations.
Best place for sledding on a snowy day! We had such a great time. The Boston skyline view is a plus!
The park is a nice place to exercise.
Laz Anderson Park has a lot of green space, a beautiful river and a barbecue house. Great for a picnic. I saw a couple get married by the river on the day I went there, I’m sure they’ll have great pictures of the view. I also liked was the serenity of the place!
Nice lowkey spot to take a walk with the kids or a date
Very nice and relaxing place and complete facilities but some facilities like comfort rooms were not well-maintained.
Beautiful place for spending time with the family but there were street dogs everywhere that are quiet aggressive.
Very relaxing place and there were public toilet anywhere but there were street dog roaming around.
Great place to walk, great shaded playground for kids. Covered space with picnic tables for gatherings. Bathrooms available. It has great views of Boston and Cambridge from the top of the hill. Also available is The Larz Andersons Transportation Museum is on site.
Nice and cleanBeautiful view of the city
Well maintained spacious green space close to the city
Growing up Larzzies was the place to be. Sledding and skating in the winter. Soccer and basketball in spring and fall. Summers at BBQ pits while running to the playground with sticky hands from the half melted popsicles.
Nice and calm place to take a walk
Beautiful to walk around and peaceful. Benches around the pond allow you to sit and enjoy the tranquility.
Beautiful park with a little playground for children and a nice view and field.
Great views of Boston from the top of the park. Big open fields on a hill make for a great picnic or hangout spot. Sunset views are beautiful. A good place to take pictures of people.
Great expansive meadows and hill. View of Boston is great.
Went for Coffee and Cars meet up and it was a great time. Lots of awesome classics and exotics.
Relaxing and good views of Boston
Always a place to recharge and reconnect. Its being do in the woods yet able to (barely) hear traffic. Green is Good
This is a beautiful Park for adults and children alike. It is nested between Brookline and Jamaica Plain, next to the Greek Orthodox Seminary. It has water fountains, Bridges, Grassy Meadows, Trails Hills wooded areas, and beautiful lawns. Idylis for contemplation meditation. In the winter is an awesome place to snow tubing. I love it.
Beautiful
Love you
Great place for our family reunion. Nice lake to walk around and baseball field for the kids to play in.
An absolutely breathtaking and often overlooked park in the Boston Area. This place is worthy of hours of calm and pleasant exploration and leisure. Abundant shade and impeccable grounds-keeping make this the perfect spot for picnic date, a stroll, or letting your kids romp on the greens. This place is a MUST for flying a kite. When the winter comes, the outdoor rink is a wonderful activity and the hills a second-to-none for sledding. This spot is one of my favorite places to visit in the Greater Boston Area.
Awesome place for sledding! Had a great time here. Lots of parking and perfect sledding hill. Want to come back in the nice weather as Im sure its nice then too.
Such a beautiful place to visit everyone you met are so nice.
Very beautiful and photogenic park which has a handy gazebo.
Great park. You just need a permit to use any of the grilling areas/picnic benches. The park ranger was really helpful.
This is a great park for gatherings and barbecues. It also has a nice playground for kids. I definitely recommend it.
The park is open and spacious. Perfect spot to view the skyline of Boston from the top of the hill. It is a great place to walk the dogs, fly the kite, have a picnic on a sunny spring day.
Beautiful sunset
Beautiful sight and wonderful place to spend time with the family but a lot of waste scattered.
This park is always a go to . Nice playground for the kids its pretty shaded by trees nice paths and grass fields . Beautiful ponds people take their wedding photos here all the time . Its even great during the winter for sledding. And if you like cars there is always car shows happening at the larz anderson auto museum
One of the most beautiful parks in the greater Boston area. Did our engagement photos here.
Pretty park
We have been coming here for years. The park itself if beautiful, complete with fountains and a gazebo where many take wedding photos. You can rent a table to grill and throw a party here for the day. There is also a baseball field, a playground and bathrooms on site. The playground is one of the best. Lots of variety. My toddler loves it and theres plenty of shade (although no water feature). If you walk up the hill above the auto museum, you can get a great view of the fireworks on the 4th. There is also an outdoor skating rink up on the hill that operates in the winter. Its one of the best. If you havent been definitely check it out. You wont be disappointed.
Great place for your dog!
Lovely park, part of the Green Dog program where you can let your dog run free. Acres of beautiful land and hills to walk on.
What a hidden treasure.
Beautiful park!
Clean nice picnic areas and little pound to walk around enjoyed the time there with family
Fall foliage is amazing there, feels relaxing to the point of therapeutic
Cold and windy and technically the birthday party was supposed to be their Sunday also known as rainy day!! We where aware another party using half of the space but decorated the whole space under the roof and more picnic tables underneath and the adults could of chatted with each other and watch the kids on the playground at the same time but their was supposed to be rain at 6pm Saturday night!!
Good place for family picnic !! The park has baseball field as well.
Beautiful views and landscapes, really amazing place to either walk, run, or just have a picnic
I love this Park it is one of my favorite. One of my friends got married here, also I started going there since I was Im about 13 years old. It is awesome because they have a very good playground fenced-in for small kids. They have a very large field which is used for soccer games however most of the time it is empty but my favorite part is the pond. There is a beautiful gazebo on one side and a beautiful little arc bridge on the other side really an amazing Park to go for a walk by yourself or with the kids.
Great open space and great views of cuty
Relaxing, easy to get to, and beautiful
This is a big anf beautiful park with lots of amenities including baseball fields a pond, a playground, baseball/sports fields, picnic tables, and a winter ice rink. There is a parking lot near the baseball fields/playground but it fills up fast and people end up parking along the street.
Beautiful park. Well kept
Nice place
Lovely place to walk and enjoy quite
Its big with lots of places to roam around and hang out. Its also a great place to teach your kid to ride a bike.
There is so much space here! There can be tons of people and still it does not feel crowded. BBQ can be rented which is nice.
