This was a stop we made while out of town. A really nice park set in a residential area. You can walk around the lake, play in the playground. Enjoy the view and watch paragliders. This was a wonderful stop during our trip.

Worth going if youre in the area. Its a nice little park with walking trails along a lake and a view of the hills, nothing too special.

Great trail to push yourself hard on the mountain bike for beginner/intermediate riders and see great views.

The Good: Quick escape in north Boulder with Flat Iron views. An easy tranquil walk around the lake, and for the more athletic, a nice hike in elevation up the front range.The Bad: Nothing really, its a popular hike so be prepared to encounter many others on the trail. If youre hiking up the hills there is no shade so morning sun will make it a toasty hike.Overall: Very nice park will take my puppy there again.

Friendly neighborhood park with epic views! The playground is great and theres always some toys for the little ones to play with, just be careful with the rough floor, kiddos may stumble when running around.

Impressive views. Well maintained trails. There are a couple of paves sections of path that arent avoidable.

Absolutely wonderful park. The trail is well maintained and wide all the way around the lake. The waters surface is glassy still. The view all along the trail, of both the town and the foothills, is spectacular. Most of the trail has minimal incline, and branches allow a loop with no noticeable climb for those seeking an easier walk

A pure jam in North Boulder and a pleasure for young kids to play and for all people to enjoy this gorgeous lake at the base of one of the front Range is most enjoyable little parks and one that also leads up to hiking trails and biking that is a great way to get an awesome view of Boulder.

Trails are very well kept, there is a lot of wildlife to be seen, a very family and pet friendly park, and the lake itself brings much tranquility.

Wonderland park is ...well wonderful. On the very few days there is snow there we need to remind people to respect different modes of travel...please dont trample XC ski tracks with hiking boots, snow shoes, or fat bikes...all are welcome and there is room for all.

My go-to local hike. You can take a mellow walk around the lake, or climb up into the foothills to the West.

Serene, peaceful place hike anytime of the day.

There is really nothing bad about this park, it has a nice open area next to the lake. The fence there has just been renovated by the Boulder Youth Corp. The playground area includes a swing set, a little sand box, a metal climbing gym sort of thing, and various other bits and bobs. It has a nice big open space that I have flown a kite in several times. It is a nice park that is rarely busy. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because there is nothing truly astonishing about it.

A gem. We lived across the street from this lake/trail for 5 years and walked it at least a couple times a week. Easy for kids and always beautiful.

Easy walk if you want to circle the lake but you have options for a short steep hike if you are more ambitious.

You can either walk or bike this trail. I love the views of the lake and the hills. A playground is available for children to play. Fishing is aloud at the Lake. Just a great place to spend an afternoon.

This lake has a wonderful dog park you can walk to. I took my puppers pretty late in the evening so we were the only ones there but its a pretty large park and we loved it.
