Beautiful, mostly open terrain that leads from the trailhead under Hwy 93 to the west. Very gentle incline but its a long series of trails. Even connects with doudy draw trails

An extremely fun green level trail. If you try to park at the trail head Google Maps directs you to for Doudy Draw, its extremely limited.Pro tip: if coming from Boulder, instead of turning right at the light with the gas station, turn left and park at the larger parking area at the bottom of the trail head. There were ample places to be park even at 08:30am on a Saturday.Parking in the larger lot will require you to ride a solid 900ft climb to earn your turns. Once at the top, the trail is a nice loop with an invigorating downhill run.Expect to encounter lots of rocks (mind your pedal position) and sections at the top do have some trees to weave through. If youre getting back in the saddle after some time off or want to enjoy a fun green trail to hone some skills, look no further!

Absolutely beautiful. Di not travel all the way up to the campground. Its small and there is no creek. Theres a nice place to stop just as you start going up and it says something about the road is not maintained. Its on the left and there are places to put your chairs right next to the creek. Read a book relax or do what my family did, sleep.

Amazing views of Boulder and the flatirons. Always love to hike and bike here. The biking is not the toughest around but lots of choices for trail paths. Look out for mud closures as Boulder preserves the trails when they are too wet to hike or bike.

Marshall mesa is a good park, close to Boulder. The trails arent super technical or anything, but still good & fun. No prob on a hardtail mountain bike. Could do the rocky sections on a CX or gravel bike too. No E bikes.

A great trail for an easy hike or families. Beautiful views of the flat irons. The start of the trail is walking or biking so there is a lot of sharing the trail but then it separates. This space has limited trees, so in the sun it can get very hot with little relief.

This trail is very nice very early in the morning for a trail walker. After 8am, there is an influx of trail runners and mountain bikers all over. Expect to move out of the way often if you decide to go when everyone else does. Lots of dogs off leash as well. Mind your pups out there.

Beautiful, peaceful, reenergizing.I have not done the full trail loop but there are cool hills and big rocks that bikers have gone through. Dogs can be off the leash if theyre responsive and there is a cool cattle area at the base of the valley. The wild flowers are vibrant and friendly. It is wonderful to stop for the sight or a picnic or to enjoy the flatirons and hike.Highly recommended trailhead.

Met a friend here to ride a few trails. Some of the trails run through cow pastures, so expect some dirty shoes / tires. This trailhead gives access to several different loops of varying difficulty and length. The higher elevation trails offer a few nice downhill runs over light chunk but with solid flow. Better on the weekdays because theres much less foot traffic. Also an ideal place for trail runners.

Hiked this last night May 09, 2016. Marshall Valley trail, Marshall Mesa trail, and Coal Seam trail create a nice 2.4 mile loop... Great for families with small kids to advance with minimal elevation gain and some rocky terrain. Near the end of the trail we saw a deer and the views were amazing at the top. A little muddy in some spots which the kids loved... At the top on the non bike trail, there is a nice flat spot great for snacks and a rest break. A plus.... The short cut loop on the map 0.7 of a mile (Marshall Mesa trail) going clock wise is a non bike trail and allows for a nice climb to the top with out worrying about bikes. This is a nice after dinner hike for sure, will visit again.
