This space is beautiful! There are picnic tables, a play ground, handball court, basketball courts, tennis courts, open field, volleyball courts, and a trail around the whole thing. Right across the road to the west is Coot Lake and a gorgeous trail around that. Go see it! All of it!

Great central location to park for a bike ride - easy access to good routes in all directions - or for a run on the trails and dirt roads near Boulder Rez

This place is a nightmare! Hands down the worst place to have a soccer tournament!!!! My kids played in a soccer tournament here in March it is filled with Boulderites on their bicycles and walking their dogs...horrible people and no place to park!!! Seriously the people that we found here are the epitome of why people make fun of Boulderites!!!! Will never go here again, soccer tournament or not!!!!!

Nice place for a group picnic. The shelter (you can reserve it through Boulder county) is spacious and there are total 4 charcoal grills. A playground for kids, tennis courts, and basketball court are right besides the shelter.

This park is amazing they have FREE showers .... I feel everyone needs a shower and this a NEED therefore since it is free ppl should not take advantage and destroy or damage the facility. Help keep the the bathroom clean.... Like seriously my wife has gone in to take a shower and someone went #2 right in the shower stall.... REALLY.... People should respect and help keep the bathroom tidy..... The county could easily take this privilege ( of a FREE shower) away.... We are greatful to have this resource, as there are times we dont have money to pay for a shower.

I park here for almost every long ride I take through Boulder, and 60 others do the same, but theres always ample parking. Ive also seen pro triathletes here which is pretty cool. Aside from parking, theres a covered patio section, bathrooms with showers (though the bathrooms are pretty rough - its a public park), and a grass area. Perfect access to bike loops and running trails that connect to Boulder Reservoir.

Da
Review №22

Ive been goin to this park for a few years now and its great for a few reasons. One reason being is cause of the free showers. (FREE). It is really nice to have somewhere to be able to go shower especially when your homeless. Theres places to go pay for a shower like the YMCA or the recreation center but come on who really wants to have to pay for a shower when you need one? I know I dont especially when Im out of work and I dont have alot of money. Besides paying for a shower everyday or every other day really adds up. Its unfortunate that alot of people take this for granted and dont take into consideration of others. Ive seen the restrooms just trashed and really just discusting literally a few times the bathrooms have been worse then the showers in jail and those showers are foul, so it would be good to see people be more respectful and clean up after themselves so the county doesnt just decide to close down the showers for good. Especially being so close to boulder cause everybody should know how people in boulder are, sugar tax, where you can and cant smoke, hell I mean theres barely any parks in boulder that have grills to bbq at. Truthfully theres too many wealthy judgemental nosey greedy people in boulder that just discriminate towards the lower and poor class. Also I enjoy the park cause of the lake and its a great place to get exercise and take your dog. So people please help to keep this a CLEAN safe friendly environment for everybody to enjoy.

Love the free showers. Cant stand the boulder millenial guppies. There noses are so high in the air they smack into walls directly infront of them than blame the wall for hitting them.... Cyclist have zero respect for drivers ans have recklessly pulled out infront of me. Entitled garbage is all thats there....there homeless community is a better crowd to be around rather than anyone else.

A very nice park next to some great features. There is a tennis court, tennis wall, park, fields for sports like frisbee or soccer, fields to walk the doggos, and grills and places to cook out. Across the street to the west there is a lake and a short but not too short dirt trail loop which is nice for doggos and or trail running/jogging. Lastly this is a great spot to start group runs up 63rd or group bike rides from and showers on in the facility restrooms.

Up until the 2019 season this place was a diamond in the rough. Unfortunately the bathrooms arent being cleaned as frequently and it really shows this season. The bathrooms used to be cleaned daily except on Sunday. It seems now the person in charge of cleaning is maybe here twice a week and doesnt even clean when they here. Ive seen trash sitting in there for weeks. Boulder county parks and recreation need to get theyre workers to actually work.

This is where the athletes in the Denver / Boulder area go to train. I spent the first few months of the Triathlon season training in Denver (Full disclosure: new to Colorado & new to Triathlon). I met up for a group ride on a Sunday morning and the superficially derived caliper of the athletes was impressive. The rides that I’ve accessed from there over the past few weeks beat anything you can achieve from Denver. We hit up Carver Lake and it renewed my faith in a Colorado lake (I’m from the East Coast ..) There are bathroom facilities on location and access to the reservoir from the parking lot. My advice ... if you’re looking to explore new territory to ride and you’ve primarily trained in Denver, then park here and get after some new terrain. Just the other surrounding athletes is reason enough to go .. it’s super motivating!
