Boulder knowa and loves their dogs. This dog park has areas for dogs that arent as active and just want to be social, it has areas for dogs that want to run and fetch, it has areas for dogs that want to be antisocial and just sort of hang out by the owner but still sniff around and it also has a small dog park. There are porta potties, trash, and a dog waste specific trash area.It is also right next to a fantastic bike park, so is a great alternative activity for families with kids that can ride on their own and parents that need to take the dogs for a walk.

Had a great afternoon at the dog park. The park is super awesome and safe for dogs. All the dogs at the park were super friendly and playful today. The park has lots of space for doggies to run around. There its plenty kid parking. And a large amount of trails next to the park should you want to walk your dog on a leash.

This is the main place I take my dog and he absolutely loves it. There are usually fewer dogs at the small dog area but there are times that regulars typically show up each day so it isnt an issue having other dogs around for him to play with. There is a little plastic blue kiddie pool that the small dogs can play in and tennis balls everywhere.

The views are amazing here! Some times there are a lot of dogs but the area is massive! The people and dog owners are quite friendly and not at all standoffish like other dog parks. Once a month the town drops off a bunch of yellow tennis balls for the dog to play with. There are poop bags provided as well as water spouts for the pups. In the summer time there is even a doggy pool for the pups to play in. Love this place!

Amazing and open space. Lots of room for dogs to run and play, side fenced off areas full of grass with gates to separate if from the main park. Beautiful view, and plenty of tables to sit and relax or do homework while spending time with your dog. Most pet owners here are vigilant of their dogs and call them back if they have issues with another dog, some don’t pay as much attention so it’s good to keep an eye on your dog, because not everyone does.

My doggo loves this dog park, and its nice there are different areas to control your dogs experience more. There are nice people that donate tennis balls to this park, and we definitely enjoy the community efforts. There are seasonal water pumps, and plenty of trash bins. So many nice things about this park, hopefully the dog owners will keep it a great place!

An amazing park for dogs of all sizes to enjoy. There are always tons of tennis balls lying around for everyone to play with and kiddie pools in the summer time. A couple shady areas with plenty of seating also makes this a great place for pets to bring their humans to. Bring your own water in the winter!

Love this park and so do my two dogs. It is very well maintained, there are water spigots readily available, and in the summer they even have little kiddie pools for the dogs to splash around in. Plenty of areas with benches and chairs and shade for humans and more than enough space for runners, jumpers and the like. They also have a designated small dog area for dogs under 30 lbs for the wee pups in your life!

As always, your dog should be trained and exercised BEFORE visiting any park. More people/dogs thus translates to a higher percentage/probability of unstable behaviors, but its great to have this expansive facility nonetheless.

Definitely my favorite park. Occasionally there are some slightly aggressive dogs, but usually its a good crowd. There are several areas to play away from the crowd, and plenty of balls, as well as kiddie pools by the faucet when it isnt winter (water is shut off during winter so you need to bring your own)

The valmont dog park is huge, theres a small dog and large dog area with water bowls in both sides. Its mostly gravel and sand but it has small areas that have grass growing. Huge big dog area with lots of turns and sections. Good amount of seating available too. Whole I was there, the other dogs were very friendly and we had no problems. 2 dual gated entrances from the parking lot and there was a port o potty, but I didnt use it.

We like this dog park: mostly gravel but there are sectioned off corrals of thick grass with shade trees, a separate area with ground cover for ball throwing/fetching, a ramp and climbing rocks, water including a spot with a kiddy pool for summertime play. There is a big dog area and a separate small dog area. My girls like the old trees on the south side for climbing and exploring. There are compostible bags provided for taking care of dog waste. The only downside is that not everyone picks up their dogs poop, I suspect because there are nice people there to socialize with to distract, and lots of interesting things for the dogs to sneak off behind.

Valmont dog park is by far the best dog park I have taken my dog to. The park is located on a sprawling lawn separated into different sections to help stimulate dogs and to give them a variety of places to investigate while playing. The grounds are immaculate, and there are several places to take a seat while your doggy plays. It is well worth the drive and the views of the mountains are breathtaking!

This place e seems to always be bumping too so its a great opportunity to make new friends and socializing your dog. There is a smaller pen for smaller dogs if your worried about your pup getting overwhelmed. Theres cool obsticles here too you can really have fun with your dog. Im new to Boulder from Ohio. Been to a bunch of different dog parks in Denver and surrounding areas and this is my favorite! People are pretty chill, dogs are typically well behaved. Nice size spot with a great bike and walking trail. There are updates happening as some parts are closed off with heavy machinery taking up some of the space. All in all, clean(for a dog park), nice, enjoyable dog park for you and your canine companion. Youll both enjoy it.
