Lived here 6 years and no issues. New people running the place and they pick and choose who they like and want to help. Rumors are they are even exchanging illegal substances for rent

For over forty years, Southcrest has been part of the Bloomington community. Now under new ownership and management, Southcrest is working towards providing access to comfortable and affordable housing.

The absolute worst customer service and property management . They cannot keep staff, constant turnovers. They refuse to answer the phone or return phone calls. The property manager Sarah dodged phone calls for months. I had to block my number and call from different numbers for my call to even be answered. Once I was able to speak with her she was very rude and hung up on me. Nonprofessional staff all the way around. Not a safe environment for children as there are many illegal activities taking place within the park. The police were there often. Do not move here unless your okay with unprofessionalism, criminal activity, lies from management, lack of morals and integrity, and blaming past employees for current mistakes. Terribly sad for those unfortunate renters who are not financially stable enough to move away. They are being prayed upon by a heartless company with only one thing in mind, and it’s definitely not the renters/tenets. BEWARE!!!!!

Got denied to live here after paying rent and renewing my lease but my neighbors manufacture and distribute crystal meth brought that up to the property management and they have no concerns

Terrible Never one have I had such a bad experience I have lived here less than a year it’s been 5 managers they constantly change the rules and constantly over charge every month and can never explain it they lie so much

So I just moved in this past November. They were supposed to supply me with a washer and dryer and after waiting over a month and being lied to multiple times I had to go and get my own. I e been waiting the same amount of time for things to be fixed. My heat doesn’t kick on and off by itself and they still ah ent came to check it. I’m expected to do my part but they don’t do theirs. This is by far the worst place I’ve ever lived. They do not fix anything and they lie about everything. The shadiest group of individuals thus far.

Was treated very poorly by Veronica, She mislead and didnt stand by her words.Get everything in writing dont trust her.

.ew owners are great about cleaning park up but new manager has favorites n flat out increased rent 3 time in 2 months she took out all move fire pits and rounded up the wild life stray cats we use keep mice n snakes away she is over bearing n now people with large dogs been here 6 plus years good paying citizens are now being evicted she has violated multiple Indiana tenant laws not to mention only federal postal workers can touch our mail n boxes n she thinks the rules dont apply to her

Very well kept up area, I have slot of friends and never have heard anything bad about this place

Typically dont rate these kinda places but this place is probably on the top 5 WORST places in Bloomington, in my opinion.

Update as of February 2019: Lot rent is now 390 a month excluding water and trash. Apparently is expected to go up to 500 for rent(not including water or trash) at most. Place keeps trading owners and who owns this place is a mystery and they have no freely available info to tell who they are or where the owners even are located. Other places are half or less the price of this place. Also Kevin has stepped down and has been replaced with some pawn the new owners have hired. Everything keeps increasing on a yearly basis and it will keep going up. Move out if you are dissatisfied with this place. Money is all these people understand or know how to speak. Teach these scumbags a lesson and hit them where it hurts.

We have lived here since january 2003. Seen many neighbors come and go. Owners as well. The rent has now raised to 390 plus we pay for the water and trash .Pretty steep .However, since i have lived here i have had personal problems with a neighbor and Kevin was never helpful and always believed every thing they said .The new proerty manager was not having it and actially listened to me. She was very helpful with my concerns. Even though I am paying way more than I feel it is worth, they have promises of improvements and I will no longer be treated like a horrible person because the landlord isnt in with my neighbors.Update! Do not move in here! Base rent is 390 .Trash 15. Today i got my rent Bill and it was $777.00! Supposedly for water and sewer! Absolutely no way .They tried to tow my kids car today because the tire was flat. Hell no .They want to act like they are trying to make it better but it is just gentrification of poor people!!!! Its ridiculous! My neighbor sold her trailer to someone and this new landlord changed the locks ON HER HOUSE and charged the new home owners $80 for new locke and keys .That must be illegal. Please do not even think of moving here .You will regret. I wish i could afford to move out! I own my trailer and would have to move it another update .The proerty manager Jett had enough nerve to show up at my door and threaten eviction! She is out of her mind .I told her we can not get car registered until tuesday as the license branch isnt ope. And the car wasnt even signed over to my kid till Saturday when their predatory wrecker company had the nerve to show up .Evict me for what? Not putting up with your bull? Im not stupid and I know my rights and i know some of the stuff these new landlords are not right .They may have some legal lopphole but they are ethically corrupt .Sending letters to the entire place that if you own your ow n house in there you have to give them 30 days notice .Do not move in here .You will regret it

Used to be nice before new management took over here recently. Lot rent has went up and everyone is moving out due to overpriced lot rent.

Honestly within the past year it feels like all the happiness has been sucked out of that places

Its a quiet...clean neighborhood

The road is blocked off at 1 end and half blocked at the other (due to construction). Citys fault not the trailer courts.

The lot rent went from $320 to $390 in less than two months. And when the rent was $320 that was water, sewage, and trash pick up. Now we pay for everything. The cost is way to high for this park.

I have been here since November 1, 2017 And think it’s a great place to live.

The park manager kevin is great pay your rent follow the rules you wont have a issue nice mobile home park
